Damien walks back to meet his family, and his mother– the irritatingly drunk woman who unfortunately birthed him– jumps up to give him another hug. “Please, let's all settle down.” He says with a stiff smile. “You have no idea how happy I am to see you.” Elle is sitting at the edge of her seat, she is the most attentive of the group.
