Flora asked, already reaching to check Jabber's pulse at his neck. Her fingers found the steady thump, and she nodded.

"Pulse is strong. He's just unconscious."

"We need to get him to the clinic."

Mira said practically, already moving to help lift him.

"Whatever happened to him, whatever that transformation was, it clearly took everything out of him."

Asta nodded, sliding his arms under Jabber's shoulders while Mira took his legs. Together they lifted him,he wasn't particularly heavy, all lean muscle and bone and began carrying him toward the ring's exit.

The crowd watched them go, still murmuring:

"It seems like he went beyond his limits and wore himself out."

"That makes sense,manifesting that much power, fighting that intensely, it would exhaust anyone."

"But what about the purple flame? I've never seen flames that color before."

"Maybe it's a rare variation? Some unusual manifestation?"

"Or maybe he was using a forbidden technique? Something that burns through your life force?"
