The Wibisono Group office car pulled out of the main building. Richard, the driver, sat in the front seat with a tense expression. Next to him, Bill sat with an unmistakable smile. And in the back seat, Kevin looked out the window with a blank expression.

"The first creditor is PT Widiacana," Bill began in a feigned tone of enthusiasm. "An import-export company. They owe fifty billion rupiah. It was due eight months ago."

Kevin did not respond.

Bill continued enthusiastically. "If you manage to collect that debt, Kevin, you'll get a commission of one billion rupiah. One billion! Imagine what you could do with that much money."

Kevin glanced at Bill. He knew exactly what was on the man's mind. Bill didn't expect Kevin to succeed. Bill expected Kevin to leave the Widiacana building battered and bruised, or worse, carried away to the hospital on a stretcher.

"Of course," Bill added in a tone that sounded concerned, "the previous debt collectors never succeeded. Some of them even had to be hospitalised for weeks. But I'm sure you're different, Kevin. You are Mrs Vivian's husband, after all."

Kevin did not respond to the sarcasm. His eyes returned to the busy street.

Twenty minutes later, the car stopped in front of an eight-storey office building. The "WIDIACANA" logo was emblazoned on the facade of the building. Several luxury cars were parked in the courtyard, indicating that the company was not short of money.

"Well, we're here." Bill opened the car door but did not get out. "I'll wait here. If anything happens, just shout. We might hear you."

He smiled with a clearly mocking smile.

Kevin got out of the car without saying a word. He walked into the building with calm, measured steps.

The lobby of the building was quite spacious with marble floors and ornamental plants in the corners. The reception desk was in the centre, manned by a young woman who was busy with her laptop.

Kevin walked over. "I want to see your director."

The receptionist looked up with a bored expression. "Do you have an appointment?"

"No."

"If you don't have an appointment, you can't meet him." The receptionist returned her focus to her laptop. "Please make an appointment with the secretary first."

"This is about a debt of fifty billion that was due eight months ago." Kevin said calmly. "I'm sure your director will want to see me."

The receptionist looked up again, this time with a different expression. A mixture of surprise and annoyance.

"Oh, another debt collector?" She snorted. "Listen, sir. Many people like you have come here. They all went home empty-handed. Or more accurately, with broken bones." She smiled sweetly, but it was fake. "So you'd better leave now before the same thing happens to you."

Kevin didn't move. "Call your director."

"Didn't you hear what I said?" The receptionist was getting annoyed. "Leave now, or—" She raised her hand and snapped her fingers.

Seven security guards standing in various corners of the lobby immediately moved closer. They were all large men, with faces that were clearly accustomed to intimidating people.

"Gentlemen," the receptionist said in a coquettish tone, "please escort this guest out. In a... polite manner."

The security guards grinned. One of them, the largest, stepped forward and put his hand on Kevin's shoulder.

"Come on, sir. Come with us nicely. Or—"

He didn't get to finish his sentence.

Kevin moved with almost imperceptible speed. His hand grabbed the security guard's wrist, twisted it, and in one smooth motion, threw the man to the floor with a loud thud.

The other security guards immediately rushed forward. But one by one, they fell. Kevin moved among them like flowing water, each movement efficient and deadly. Punches to the solar plexus, kicks to the knees, throws that utilised his opponents' momentum.

In less than thirty seconds, all seven security guards were lying on the floor, moaning in pain.

The receptionist froze in her chair, her mouth open, her face pale.

Kevin stepped up to the reception desk and turned the laptop towards himself. His fingers moved quickly across the keyboard.

"W-what are you doing?!" The receptionist finally found her voice. "That's company property! You can't—"

Kevin ignored her. His eyes scanned the data appearing on the screen. The company's firewall was weak, too easy to breach. Within seconds, he had accessed the internal financial system.

What he found made him smile slightly.

This year's net profit: two hundred and ninety billion rupiah.

This company was not unable to pay its debts. They chose not to pay.

The second receptionist, who had been in the toilet, appeared and immediately screamed at the sight before her. Seven security guards were lying on the floor, and a stranger was accessing the company's computers.

"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!"

"Call your director." Kevin said without looking away from the screen. "Now."

The first receptionist, who had recovered from her shock, immediately ran towards the lift. A few minutes later, the lift doors opened and five men stepped out hurriedly.

The man walking in front was the oldest, probably in his fifties, with a pot belly and a red face from anger. Behind him, four younger men followed with battle-ready expressions.

"Who dared to cause trouble in my office?!" The old man shouted as he took his mobile phone out of his pocket. He pressed a button and spoke quickly. "Hello? Yes, it's me. Come to the office immediately. We're under attack. Yes, there are a lot of people. Hurry!"

Kevin stood up from the receptionist's chair and faced them calmly. "Director Widiacana, I presume?"

"Who are you?!" The director stared at Kevin with burning eyes. "Do you know who you're dealing with?"

"Kevin. From the Wibisono Group." Kevin replied flatly. "I'm here to collect a debt of fifty billion that was due eight months ago."

The director laughed, a loud, mocking laugh. "A debt collector? Again?" He turned to his men. "How many people did he bring?"

"Just himself, sir." One of his men replied, confused. "But he defeated seven of our security guards."

The director looked at Kevin with a new expression. "One man defeated seven security guards?" He snorted. "Not bad. But do you know what happened to the debt collectors before you?"

"I heard some of them ended up in hospital." Kevin replied calmly.

"Some?" The director laughed again. "All of them. Some had broken arms. Some had broken legs. Some were so badly beaten that even their own mothers wouldn't recognise them. And you think you can just come here and collect the debt?"

Kevin tilted his head slightly. "So that's what will happen to me?"

"Oh, no, no." The director shook his head with a cruel smile. "You've already caused damage to my office. You beat up my security guards. You accessed my company's computers without permission. What will happen to you will be much worse."

"In that case," Kevin said in a very calm tone, "I'll make what you did to the previous debt collectors happen to you."

Victor stood up, his face red. "We're having an important meeting here!"Kevin didn't answer. His hand continued to work, pressing acupuncture points on Vivian's shoulders and arms. Each pressure point was designed to improve blood flow and remove the effects of the powder from Vivian's system."Kevin?" Vivian whispered in confusion. "What... why did I feel strange just now?""Be quiet for now," Kevin said softly. "Let me finish this."Victor moved forward angrily. "Hey! I'm asking you! Who are you and what are you
