Kael, a high-ranking competitive gamer, gets offered access to a secret beta of Eden Break, a next-gen VRMMORPG. But during his login session, a freak power surge causes his consciousness to be transferred into the game world, permanently. Waking up in the body of a “Glitch” a corrupted player class with unstable stats—he learns the system is collapsing. NPCs have gained self-awareness, the world’s code is decaying, and a mysterious force called the Game Architect is trying to wipe out anomalies like Kael to reset the world. To survive, Kael must: Hack the world using his broken abilities Recruit allies (some real players, others awakened NPCs) Discover the true origin of the game—which may involve real-world experiments with human consciousness Face off against the “Admins,” god-like enforcers of the old system Choose whether to escape, reboot the world… or take control of it
