Namaku Elvar Sagara. Sore itu, aku pergi ke mal untuk mencari kostum festival Halloween. Niat awalnya cuma lihat-lihat. Tapi aku malah menemukan sesuatu yang... aneh. Sebuah topeng bertanduk dan setelan pakaian yang rasanya familier banget, mirip karakter komik favoritku. Ya sudah, aku beli saja. Sesampainya di rumah, aku langsung mencobanya. Setelannya pas banget di badanku. Topengnya... emang agak seram sih. Tapi keren abis. Aku berdiri di depan cermin, dan entah dorongan dari mana, aku mulai berakting. Aku melipat tangan di depan dada. Berdiri setegak dan segagah mungkin. Dengan suara yang kubuat seberat mungkin, aku berteriak: "Hahaha! Akulah Raja Iblis yang sesungguhnya! Aku akan memimpin kalian semua! HAHAHA!" Tawaku makin menggelegar. Konyol? Emang. Tapi aku lagi asyik-asyiknya mendalami peran. Lalu... aku berkedip. Begitu mataku terbuka, aku sudah berada di sebuah aula raksasa. Dikelilingi oleh makhluk-makhluk mengerikan. Para iblis. Dan gawatnya... mereka semua sedang bersujud di hadapanku. Tawa di mulutku masih belum berhenti. Tapi jantungku rasanya mau copot. Sialnya, tubuhku malah terus berakting. Otakku langsung sadar... kalau aku berhenti sekarang, kalau aku lepas topeng ini dan ngaku cuma manusia biasa... Aku pasti langsung dibantai di tempat. Jadi...
