Yona Of The Dawn Hak

THE DRAGON’S ASHES In the Kingdom of Valen, power belongs to those who possess mana. Mages command the elements. Spell-knights serve the crown. Nobles are born with magical blood that grants them privilege, wealth, and influence. Those without mana are considered worthless—fit only for servitude. Samson is one of them. An orphan with no family name, no noble blood, and not a single spark of mana in his veins, Samson has spent his life enduring humiliation at Castle Oakhaven. Forced to clean stables, polish armor, and train under merciless knights, he is mocked by nobles who believe he was born defective. But Samson possesses something they cannot understand: an unbreakable will. When an army from the Abyss tears open the sky above Oakhaven, the castle becomes a battlefield. Dark sorcerers descend upon the kingdom, slaughtering knights and mages alike. Amid the chaos, Samson makes an impossible choice—risking his life to save the very noble who spent years despising him. The price is death. As necrotic magic destroys his body and his heart gives its final beat, something ancient awakens within his bones. Something that was never mana. A power older than kingdoms. Older than magic itself. Dragon blood. Samson rises from the ashes transformed, his body carrying the fury of an ancient lineage and his eyes burning with the power of a creature feared since the dawn of creation. Above the ruined castle, a legendary dragon descends from the storm clouds and bows before him. The boy everyone called worthless has awakened. Now the nobles who mocked him, the mages who dismissed him, and the enemies who invaded his kingdom are about to discover a terrifying truth: The most dangerous power in Valen was never meant to be wielded by a mage. It was meant to awaken in Samson.
