In the morning, Peter woke up with a burning headache. He couldn't help but groan in pain. “Gosh” he mumbled as he tried to open his eyes. He couldn't even understand why he was having such a heavy headache, maybe it was because he was thinking too much. He managed to open his eyes widely. He could see the sun peaking inside the room for the widow. He immediately Checked the Time and it was Eight in the morning. He couldn't even believe that he slept until that time.

“Wow, I took a long nap.” He mumbled before he entered inside the bathroom, but something immediately caught his attention. He stared at it for a while before he decided to pick it up. It was a pregnancy test result and according to what he saw, it was positive. He felt joy inside of him at the thought that Megan was Pregnant. He couldn't deny the fact that he noticed some few changes in her. He couldn't help but grin so widely.

He didn't see the test results at night when he entered inside the bathroom, so that means that she is home. He immediately got out of the bathroom. He looked around the room, and he saw the coat she wore before she left last night. He immediately brushed and left the room. He saw Claire Megan's junior sister, Raymond and Mary Megan's Mom.

“Good morning, mom, and Dad.” He greeted, but they ignored him. Claire Megan's junior sister was the only one that greeted him

“Good morning, Peter.” She said and smiled at him, and Peter smiled back at her. Claire was Twenty years old. She was indeed pretty with her big doe eyes. Her cute face with a soft pink lips. Her pair of black eyes were spectacular. She was really different from others. She always respected and cared for Peter. She was the only one in that house that made him feel welcomed a little.

“Good morning.” He replied before he entered inside the kitchen with a smile lingering on his Face. He entered inside the kitchen, and he saw Megan chewing on an apple. Her face was glowing, brightly.

He approached her, “Good morning, Babe.” He said as he wanted to place a kiss on her cheek, but she avoided it, and he frowned but decided to ignore that.

“What do you want?” She asked rudely, not wanting to even talk to him.

“Can we go to the room first? I have something I want to confirm.” He said, and she shot him a deadly glare.

“Whatever you would like to say, say it here. Besides, you don't own anything here, talk more of privacy.” She scoffed Curtly.

Peter furrowed his brows together, but decided not to say anything. “Please honey. I am begging right now” he said in a pleading manner.

She rolled her eyes. “Whatever.” She muttered before she walked out of the kitchen. He followed her quietly until they were in the room. He looked at her and smiled again.

Megan noticed that he was smiling too much, And she couldn't help but ask, “Why are you smiling like a fool?”

Peter frowned, but he didn't let her words get to him at all. He gave her the test result. And he saw a shocked expression on her face. “I found this in the bathroom, Honey, So you are pregnant? And I will be a father soon.” He said in a happy voice.

Megan didn't even know what to say. She didn't want Him to figure out that she was pregnant at all because she was planning to terminate the baby, but now she forgot the test in the bathroom, and he found it. She concealed the shock expression on her face. “And who told you that you will be a father soon?” she asked with a raised brow and fold her arms across her chest.

“According to the result, I will be a father soon.” Peter said with joy, still smiling widely.

'This man is an idiot' Megan mused, “Well According to me, you will not become a father soon because I will abort this baby.” She dropped the bomb on him.

Peter's expression immediately changed. “What do you mean by that?” He asked as his heart skipped a beat.

Megan chuckled Evilly, “Do you think I want to have a child for a jobless and poor man like you? No way! I can't be pregnant for a Poor man, so I have to abort this baby whether you like it or not.” She blurted out, and Peter Felt like his world was falling apart.

'How could someone be so heartless?' He mused Inwardly, hurt by her behavior and words.

“Listen carefully, Babe, you will not abort this child. This is a pure soul for crying out loud. You can't just get pregnant and want to abort Our Babe because I am poor. That is stupid.” He said in high voice.

“I don't care whether it is stupid or not. If you want me to bear your child, then you have to have money. You can't even take care of yourself, talking more of taking care of me and a baby.” She said to him, and she already made up her mind.

Peter immediately went on his knees as he pleaded with her. “Please I am begging you Megan, don't do this, I promise I will find something to get money. You know I am trying, it is not easy. Everywhere I go for help, I get rejected. No one wants to help Me. You should understand that I am trying my best, but things are just hard for Me.” He pleaded, but Megan was not even considering his pleads at all.

“You are the one causing all this trouble to yourself. I have told you numerous times to accept Dagger's offer, but you always Say No.” She said.

Peter got up on his feet and looked at her with anger. “You want me to engage myself in drugs and killing just to get money?” He asked.

“Yes of course. If you want to make money, then you have to do it no matter what. If you agree to work for dagger, then they both of us will be getting something to hold on to but anyway, if you feel like you would rather not do anything, then there is no problem at all but as for this child, I am terminating it. I am going to say it again and Again, I can't bear kids for a useless man.” She uttered and she looked Pleased with herself. Peter was just shocked by her words, “Instead of looking at me like a fool you are, I will advise you to go out there and seek employment because I can't do this anymore. I am tired of this stupid union you call marriage. I really loved you when you had money, but now you are poor, and you have nothing, My love has automatically changed to hate but don't get me wrong peter. If you get some money and can take care of me and the bills, then I will love you. Marriage without money is stupidity.” She added. Megan couldn't deny the fact that she was tired of the marriage. She wants a man that can take care of her properly, not someone who is broke.

“Why are you doing this to me? You know, I am not the Only man in the word who is poor. I am trying my best.” Peter said in a low voice.

“Well, your best is not Good enough. Try harder. You claim that you are hustling, but in my eyes you are not.” Megan said to him.

“Honey, please don't terminate this child. This is Our baby and beside you might hurt or even lose your life in the process of the abortion. Don't kill an innocent child who knows nothing. I know you are mad and frustrated because I am at my worst, but please don't harm this child.” Peter pleaded because he couldn't afford to lose his own baby or her in the process of abortion.

Megan scoffed, “Don't try to preach Rubbish to Me. I have already told you What I wanted to tell you. This baby…” She said, pointing at her stomach, “Will be gone in no time whether you like it or not.”

Peter clenched his fist and took a couple of deep breath because he was getting Angry, and he didn't want that. “Megan!!” He called her by her real name.

“What can I do for you, Asshole?” She rudely answered.

“Don't Abort that child. I am telling you this And it is a warning.” He said in a low voice.

“You really like to talk a lot, peter. I think you are deaf because if you are not deaf, you should be able to hear and accept what I am saying. This baby will not stay. When you have money, come to me, and we can make babies, but you see this Useless child, i will terminate it.” She said with finality in her voice. She was not ready to be pregnant for someone who is broke.

“What the hell is wrong with you!!” Peter yelled at her, and she flinched a little, surprised that he yelled at her.

“What is your problem?” He yelled with burning anger.

“My problem is that you have nothing. You are a nobody, and I am not keeping this baby!!” Megan yelled back.

“So? Why are you so cruel? You are my wife for Christ’s sake And you are meant to support me in this time of my life, but now what are you doing? You are telling me shit. You want to abort a baby that did nothing to you. Are you not stupidly ashamed of your self?" He yelled with anger as he gave her a cold glare. He couldn't believe that her wickedness has reached to that level. He has been trying to be cool and calm with her, but she just crossed the line. She just crossed the line, and he couldn't bear to keep mute again. He was already passing Through a lot, and she was adding more pains to the one he was going through already.

“Don't ever open that your stupid fucking useless mouth and yell at me. You are a disgrace, A man who can't even take care of his self, a man who can't take care of his wife. This has been three years now that we relocated to here and tell me what exactly have you accomplished In these past three years? Huh? Tell me?” She asked, but Peter didn't reply her. “Nothing, Total nothing and all you do is to open your mouth and tell me that you are trying your best. Since you want to keep on trying your best, continue.” She added as she was angry too.

“You are just a Gold digger. I Trust and Love you, but you treat me this way just because I am broke. If everyone turns their back on me, you shouldn't be among them.” He yelled as he sat down on the bed, tapping his feet on the ground.

“You can call me a gold digger or whatever you want to call me, I don't care.” Megan yelled. They both of them kept on yelling and arguing with each other and their voices was heard all over the house.

A knock on the door stopped them for a moment. Megan opened the door and saw her father and mother. Raymond gave Peter a very dangerous Look.

“Why are you yelling at my Daughter?” He asked.

Peter already knew that they will gang up against him already. “She is pregnant, and she wants to abort the baby.” He uttered with anger and pain was visible in his eyes.

“So?, You are a Useless son-in-law and a husband, so what do you expect?” Raymond asked, giving peter a dirty look like he was piece of Trash that needs to be thrown into the trash can.

“And you even have the guts to yell at my Daughter. If she would like to terminate the baby she will terminate it and besides I can't watch my daughter get pregnant for a nobody and a crazy, stupid, shameful poor man like you.” Mary said, supporting her daughter.

Peter stood up and walked up to them. “Nobody is terminating my Child for any stupid reason!!” He blurted out, and immediately a heavy sounding slap landed on his cheeks.
