Strike him

''How dare you?'' Laura asked angrily. ''Are you people standing there, watching him insult me like this?'' She asked Damien's bodyguards.

''Arrest the poverty-stricken numbskull. He must be out of his mind,'' Laura barked.

''Smack...Punch...Kick...''

Greg beat up all the bodyguards that attacked him in the twinkle of an eye, to Laura's surprise.

''What?'' Laura muttered and hurried to hide behind Damien in fear. She had never seen this part of Greg before. Never.

''What is he doing? What has he turned into in jail? Damien, do something,'' Laura said as she trembled like a leaf in the wind.

''Relax Laura. Don't worry, he cannot do more than he has just done. That's all he would ever be able to do. Trust me,'' Damien said with a wicked sneer as he stared at Greg devilishly.

''But. How?'' Laura asked as she peeped at Greg from behind Damien.

Damien laughed because his father was friends with the boss of the biggest mafia in the city. Sending Greg to jail was even no longer appealing to him anymore, he intended to deal with Greg another way. The mafia way.

They will break his limbs, listening to him howling in pain, then they will put him in a sack with stones, and throw him into the sea.

No one will find his body. He will be the delicious dinner of fishes.

Damien made a few phone calls and in thirty minutes, the mafia boss that he spoke of arrived with a hundred plus gangstas on his side. They were going to teach Greg a lesson on their boss' order.

“Someone is making trouble at Mr Ban’s wedding?”

In 10 minutes, the mafia boss Bane arrived with his hundred gangstas.

They were holding iron rods, machetes, and some guests even saw some gangstas leaders had guns.

No one dared to breathe out loud.

Greg smiled, “Are you going to rely on these mobs?”

“Pretend to be calm before your death? ridiculous! Seize him,'' Bane, the mafia boss ordered, and his gangstas approached Greg.

Greg raised his hand, prepared to fight with those gangsters.

But suddenly, Bane yelled. “Stop!!!”

The gangstas heard a contrary order from Bane after a few seconds, everybody was confused. Bane stared at Greg's finger in surprise and started to express fear and respect as he raised his head from the ring to look at Greg's face.

''Who is this man?'' Bane asked Damien urgently.

''I don't know. He's just some guy that messed with me. I threw him in jail three years ago now he's back for revenge,'' Damien explained.

Bane was Damien's father's friend, so he accorded Bane with the sort of respect that he would give his father.

''What prison was he at?'' Bane asked with a low tone.

Damien felt he was too important and boujee to answer that question, so he turned to look at Laura to answer for him.

''What jail was your poor boyfriend thrown into?'' Damien asked.

''Monreal Penal Colony'' Laura replied as she squirmed behind Damien because of the tone he spoke to her with. He was upset that her ex-boyfriend was insulting him, and Laura knew that Damien would take his anger out on her sooner or later.

''Monreal,'' Bane muttered and showed respect to Greg.

''Then where did you get this ring?''

At this point, Pedro, who had never seen Greg in This element, tried to stay out of sight as he watched the drama unfold. He had a faint, mischievous smile across his face because he realised that Greg had become powerful, and he planned to use that power to his advantage.

Could Greg fight for him? He had a lot of enemies that wanted to covet his late father’s estate and other properties to themselves. Pedro had tried to fight off these people in court, and had some of them show up in his house to demand for their supposed rights over his dad’s properties, but he chased them away with all his internal and external might. He was growing weary of doing this. He was getting weak.

The guest present at the wedding had clustered into a corner of the mansion because of fear. No one that saw Greg beat up Mr Ban’s bodyguards, could deny how powerful Greg was. They had made vile remarks at him when he first entered the mansion, because of how shabby he looked, now they were afraid that he heard them, and when he was done with Mr Ban’s body guards, he would attack them. Some of them even snuck out of the mansion, headed back home. What a wedding. What a violent wedding, and it was only Mr Ban that would have the reputation of having people get beaten up in a bloody way, and a hundred gangstas appear in his wedding, ready to fight and murder someone.

‘’In my life, I have never witnessed such violence at a wedding. It had to be Mr Ban and nobody else. His notoriety of violence and aggression has stuck to him up to this extent? This is unbelievable,’’ one of the guests said.

‘’My husband told me not to attend this wedding, I should have listened to him but I could not afford to miss out on the paparazzi, and the attention such an event will attract, now I can see reason with him. I see why he advised me not to come. If anything happens to me here, it would be my fault because I was warned.’’

The guests were trembling. Their eyes remained on Greg and his poise. He was alone, without anybody on his side, against more than a hundred gangstas that he seemed sure of beating up if not that Bane had ordered them to stand down.

Mr Ban was furious watching Bane show respect to Greg. That was not the reason he called him there. He didn’t call him to converse with Greg, but to beat him up and bundle his bones out of his wedding.
