Taken Away To The Palace

"What do you mean, Xander?"

Xander fell silent. Simon also looked displeasedly at Xander who prevented Flora from leaving.

Xander didn't know, whether there was a whisper from where that made him quickly say 'no' earlier. As if what he said there was someone guiding. But his heart did not refuse, he confirmed it. Something bad would happen to Flora if she left.

"I'll be waiting in the car, Flora." Said Simon then.

Now Flora was staring intently at the man before her. "What do you really want, Xander? Yesterday you forced me to admit I'm not human, where did I come from. It didn't stop there, without my permission you followed me home. And now, you're saying there's something wrong with my house, full of evil and darkness. What's next? Aren't you tired of constantly   bother of to me?" She insisted.

This was the first time Xander had heard Flora speak at length. Not just one or two words give an answer.

"I don't know what kind of evil aura is in your house either, but with time, everything will be revealed." Xander replied resignedly.

Annoyed, Flora sauntered away leaving Xander in the hospital garden. Immediately Flora got into the car that was parked across the street.

"Go, hurry!" said Flora.

Simon immediately stepped on the gas and went through the busy streets of the capital city.

In a fancy restaurant that was quite crowded with visitors, Lorenza and Jonathan were waiting at a table that had been reserved for the next hour. The woman who was wearing a calf-length red dress seemed to enjoy the smell of the coffee she was sipping.

Those eyes sparkled, when they saw the arrival of Flora who stepped into the restaurant. Lorenza waved her hand for Flora to find her quickly.

"Sorry I'm late, Mom, Dad,"

"It is okay, Dear." Said Lorenza with such a friendly smile.

Then Flora sat down in an empty chair.

"Tonight, Mom and Dad are celebrating our thirty-second wedding anniversary. Obviously this is a special night for the three of us, not just a special night for Mom and Dad. That's why we asked you to come here to celebrate the happiness that, your Mom and Dad shared together feel. Apart from our sadness over the loss of Rose, let's just pray, may she rest in peace there. I'm sure, she is happy with the other angels in heaven."

Flora nodded, she gave a slight smile. She don't know why her father's words were so reassuring.

"Yes, Honey. Don't be sad because after all Rose will not be with us anymore. You have to be enthusiastic, try to get along with everyone. That's why I didn't stop you when you went to Morin's house." Said Lorenza.

Again, Flora just nodded. Her parents' words were like an oasis in the desert, but somehow it tasted bland.

"Here's a present for you. Open it when you get home." Jonathan handed him a white box lined with a blue ribbon.

"Thank you, Dad."

"You're welcome, Flora."

Now it was Lorenza's turn to give the prize. She handed Flora a small black box and asked her to open it immediately.

There was no surprise in Flora's eyes when she opened her mother's gift, it was a necklace. Something that Flora didn't really like. Because she prefers a plain body, not using earrings, necklaces, bracelets, or other jewelry which she thinks is very disturbing comfort.

But for the sake of happiness on her parents' wedding anniversary, Flora accepted happily. Even when Lorenza put the necklace on, Flora did not refuse. And now, the necklace with the crescent moon pendant was pinned so beautifully around Flora's neck.

"Thank you, Mom."

"You're welcome. Don't let it go, okay?"

"Yes."

The three of them continued ordering the menu, and in less than ten minutes the food came and they devoured it.

Inwardly, Lorenza was very happy. Because with the necklace, she could tell if his daughter was lying or not. In addition, Lorenza could detect where Flora was.

Lorenza wasn't sure when Flora had asked permission to go to Morin's house. Even though Simon said she came to the hospital.

Flora lay down on the bed. She felt very tired after the various activities she had gone through today. And in this late night, she wanted to close her eyes to pick up her sweet dream.

"Open your eyes, Anastasya! There are people who really need your help!"

Flora blinked. Surprised by the arrival of someone out of nowhere. But she saw the bedroom window was open, so that a strong wind came in carrying a cold air. Then she squinted, because out there was a light whose glare could beat the sun's rays.

The woman who came to her was not the mysterious woman who had seen her often recently. But the clothes weren't much different.

"Who are you? Why call me Anastasya?" asked Flora.

"I'm not the Luna Fairy who used to meet you. You'll know who I am when you come with me. Come on, before the ball of light goes, we have to sit down on that rug."

Flora inched toward the window. Sure enough, in addition to the clumps of light that formed a ball in the sky, right in front of the window there was also a flying rug. It seemed too impossible to believe.

But Flora complied to get up on the rug. Likewise the woman sat on the rug. Her life is like in a fairy tale, the flying rug flies through the ball of light. When looking at, Flora was afraid because the existence of the bottom was already very high from the foot of the earth. For fear of falling, she held on to the two corners of the rug so tightly.

"Where are we going?"

"To the place where you were born." The friendly-faced woman replied.

"Where to?"

"To the palace."

Not long after, Flora was amazed. Because in this vast sky, God is still showing his power. Flora thought, the land above the clouds only existed in a novel. But she saw it with her own eyes. There, has stood firmly a palace that is so majestic. It seemed like the entire palace was made of gold, or perhaps gems. It looks very bright and dazzling.

The rug dropped them both right in front of the palace. The woman led Flora inside to meet someone.

"Here, Queen. Princess Anastasya has reached you."

The woman who was called Queen rushed to hug Flora. She spilled tears of longing and great hope on the shoulders of the bewildered girl.

"Please save your father, only you can save him." She said sadly.

"Sorry, who are you?" asked Flora.

"Queen Castalia ... I'm your mother."
