“What else are you doing? Help them or else we will all die here!” Andrew yelled angrily at them so, even though they were shaking with fear, they forced to lift the chairs to block the windows. However, that was not enough for us to stop them, especially as the zombies gradually pushed the men standing behind the door. So, we were at a loss as to what we should do and were just stunned because of so much fear. When we suddenly heard laughter from behind us, where we realized Monique was laughing.

“What's going on with her? Is she going crazy?” Che whispered to me while we all looked at Monique. When suddenly Ms. Monica stood up and immediately approached her while pulling the collar of her uniform.

“What's funny? Tell me what's funny?” She shouted, and she was staring at her angrily while Monique continued to laugh, but her eyes were full of tears. Unexpectedly, Ms. Monica suddenly pushed Monique through the window and tried to throw her out. So, we urgently came to her to stop her and save Monique from her angry hands.

“Die now! You deserve to die. All of this is your fault. It's because of you that all of this is happening.” Ms. Monica said to her while we held Monique and pulled her away from her.

“You think I killed her? You don't know who really killed her.” Monique responded to her which shocked us all, and suddenly, she lost consciousness. We gently laid her on one side because the boys were calling us where they were having a hard time preventing the zombies from getting inside. Because of that, we urgently came to them and helped them push the door, but it was not easy because they were many compared to us who were almost a few.

“I don't want to die!” Andrew shouted as his face turned red because of the force he pushed on the door.

“None of us will die, we will all get out of this alive.” Sir. Alec said as we closed the door and gasped for breath. But it didn't end there because we suddenly turned around to the loud scream we heard where we realized that Monique was carrying her dead cat where it had bitten one of us.

“Yumi.” Said the man behind us, and he hurriedly approached the injured woman. But little did they know that the simple wound she sustained could turn into a major deluge. So, I immediately picked up the cat and threw it out of the window, which surprised everyone except those who knew about that cat. Monique suddenly got up and went to the window while repeatedly calling her cat. But because of what she did, she only got the attention of some zombies below, so they hurriedly entered the building and climbed the stairs to where we were. So, before she could call the other zombies, Andrew immediately removed her from there and covered her mouth with his two hands. However she managed to escape when she bit Andrew's hand and Monique hurriedly came to me at the same time she strangled me tightly by my neck.

“What did Mellow do to you, and why are you trying to keep him away from me? You should die. I will kill you all.” She said to me angrily as she pressed her hands on my neck that I could hardly breathe.

We all heard Yumi's loud scream, so even Monique turned to her and while her attention was diverted to others, I was able to push her away from me while I crawled and caught my breath. Yumi was getting red bumps on her hands, so she suddenly screamed. Little by little, her appearance is changing, as well as the colors of her eyes. Ms. Monica immediately approached them and tried to get the students away from Yumi.

“What are you doing? Can't you see what's happening to her? Get away from her.” She told Solomon, Yumi's boyfriend. But he didn't listen to her, instead he hugged her tightly and gently caressed her back.

“Are you deaf? Didn't you hear her? She's going to be a zombie, so you have to stay away from her.” Elysa said to him that Solomon turn at her intently.

“She won't become a zombie, maybe she just got infected with rabies from the cat that bit her.” Solomon responded to her.

“But the cat that bit her is more dangerous because of that cat, that's why all this is happening. The virus started with him.” When I said that, they all turned to me with a look of surprise on their faces. I stood up and approached them.

“Having red spots on the body, unpleasant movement of every bone in her body, changing the white color of the eyes and death of brain function are the symptoms of the virus that spreads around us and the cause of them becoming zombies.” I added that at the same time they observed Yumi's whole body, which matched the symptoms I mentioned.

“At any moment she could turn into a zombie like them and if we let her here we will all die.” After I said that, Solomon shook his head and hugged Yumi even tighter.

“That's not true, she's not going to be a zombie. She's fine, and she's not going to die.” He said that we have no choice but to force them to separate because otherwise we will be stuck in a difficult situation. With the help of the men there, they held Solomon tightly by the arm while he struggled with them.

“What are we going to do with her?” Che asked us.

“What else? We should kill her, and otherwise she's going to kill us.” We all turned to what Edrolle said and if we think about it, what he said was right, but none of us had the courage to do that except Edrolle. Just by his appearance and attitude, I can feel that he is desperate to do anything for his safety. He will not hesitate to kill and stain his hands, he will do anything if the exchange is his own safety.

"No! I'm begging you not to kill her. Just kill me and not Yumi.” Solomon pleads with us with tears in his eyes.

“What else are you afraid of? That she will die or that we will all die? Do you want to trade the lives of the survivors here for someone like her, who is lifeless and a zombie? After all, we gambled our lives outside and run to save ourselves, but we are also going to die because of your negligence? What will you say, Alec and Monica? Am I not right?” Edrolle said that we were shocked because he no longer called the two professors with us by Sir and Ma'am. “Why are you staring at me like that? It is no longer valid to be nice and polite now because of our situation. Should we still call you professor if some of you put their own safety first than the several hundred students who trust you, am I right or wrong?” He added, but they both nodded.

“Edrolle is right. We have no right to be called professors because we failed to save and get you all out of here.” Sir. Alec said with a trace of sadness in his eyes, but he still forced to smile in front of us so as not to reveal his feelings.

“So what are we going to do with her now? Do we just leave her in here, or do we die together? Raise your hands if you agree with me.” After Edrolle said, none of them raised their hands. They all seemed to feel sorry for Yumi. If it wasn't for Monique and if she hadn't brought her cat there, this wouldn't have happened. No one would lose their lives and no one would be hurt.

“But we have to get her out of here because Edrolle is right, if we just leave her in here she might kill us. I know what you are thinking and feeling right now, but in these situations we have to be strong, brave and… selfish. That's the only key to save yourselves.” Sir. Alec said that surprised us because we didn't expect him to tell us that.

I have to admit that I agree with what Edrolle said, but there is a place in my heart that says Yumi doesn't deserve to be tortured and die. She did not want to be bitten by a cat and have a virus in her body. And even more, she didn't want to be a zombie like them. So, I also understand Solomon's feelings, and I know how difficult it is for him.

“Then you killed her.” With that voice, we suddenly turned to the back where we noticed a man sitting at the window while he was hiding behind the curtain. No one seemed to notice that he was there, and no one knew that there were other people there besides us. He got down and slowly walked towards us. My eyes widened in shock when I saw his familiar face.

“Router!” Monique called him as she ran to him and hugged him tightly.

He is Router Panoncillo, the man I hate most of all. The person Sulin fears the most and the man I want to kill. I clenched my fists tightly as I stared at him. My whole body almost trembled with anger and fear of him because what he did to me was still fresh in my memory. I will never forget his caress as well as the way he touched my arms and face, which I disgusted the most.

“Rhey are you alright?” Andrew came closer to me when he noticed tears dripping from the corners of my eyes.

Router turn at me when he heard my name, and then he drew a smile on his lips. Those are his smiles that make me hate everyone. I want to destroy and crush his face until he can't smile anymore, but my fear always leads me.

He was about to approach me, but suddenly Andrew grabbed my arm and made me face him to avoid looking at Router.

“Take a deep breath first. This won't do you any good, Rhey.” He said that Che came to us and handed me water. I didn't drink it, but I just closed my eyes, and then I let out a deep breath. Somehow the mixed emotions that, I feel, were reduced, so I looked at Monique and Ruoter again.

“Can't you put her away? Or will you let me throw her out of the window?” Ruoter said to Sir. Alec, who still had a smile on his lips as he turned to look at me, but I immediately avoided him. I heard him smirk, but I just ignored him.

“Don't touch her if you don't want me to throw you out.” Solomon threatened him, but it didn't work on Router, instead she pulled down Yumi's hair, so our eyes widened in shock.

“If you don't want me to throw her out the window alone, then go with her, nothing will stop you.” After he said that, he signaled to the two men behind Solomon who were holding him to release him.

“What are you waiting for? You and your girlfriend have already left here. Isn't that what you want? To be with her until death?” He added as he laughed in a horrifying voice.

Solomon was unable to respond to what he said, instead he just stood there staring at Yumi as he continued to cry. But after a while, Yumi changed her form and became a complete zombie. We all backed away from her except Solomon who was still standing there. Yumi stood up and seemed to be planning to attack Solomon, but before she could get close to him, Router pushed her out of the window, causing her to fall on the high floor of the building where we were.

“No, Yumi!” Solomon screamed and tried to save her, but Sir. Alec immediately hugged him from behind to stop him.

“That's how easy it is to solve your problem, isn't that what your brains can do?” Router insulted us as he grinned and turned away. Solomon was constant crying when his girlfriend fell and because of shock, he suddenly passed out, which made Router just laugh.

“I will kill them both. So don't plan to kill him because both of their lives are mine.” To my right I turned to the voice I heard where I realized it was Ms. Monica as she was looking intently in the direction of Monique and Router. Because of what she said, I became even more curious about her true identity and why she was so angry with the two of them.
