CHAPTER 33

Russell sat next to a woman in a car many times, but still, sitting next to Kyra gave a different feeling altogether. It wasn’t just one feeling but a mix of feelings from thrill to nervousness. Overall, it felt good.

“Oh,” Kyra turned her head to look at him, “by the way, who was the woman that kissed you?”

Russell’s expression froze, but his heart was thundering inside.

“I couldn’t see her face, but she seemed really close to you,” Kyra raised her brows.

“Uh, she’s a childhood friend,” Russell had nothing to hide, so he spoke his mind.

“Though so,” Kyra added. “That’s why she’s pinching you everywhere.” Her tone turned sharp. “She definitely likes you. Do you also like her? If so, tell me, I’ll personally get you two married.”

“What?” Russell couldn’t believe what she was saying. (Is this some kind of a test?) Whatever it was, he didn’t feel like he should talk about personal things with her before the marriage. “She’s a good friend, but we never dated. That’s all I can say.”
