“What the f*ck is that?” Neil exclaimed after he counted to ten mentally.  His legs are still shaking, and his heart still hasn’t slowed down from the fright.  “That is our friend Oswald, the friendly octopus..” Adele answered sarcastically.  “What is this?” Neil gestured to the eight foot square rock they were standing on.  “This is the work of our overly enthusiastic friend Oswald! It used to be big enough to play soccer. This is all that remained after Oswald gave the island a friendly hug and tug. Hopefully, we are too little for him to see with his big eyes any more.” Adele said, looking at the kraken which surfaced in the sea below. 

The higher you fly, the harder you fall.  She has always remembered those words, but she never thought she would experience them in reality like this.  The air current only climbed higher and higher and Adele’s fear only increased with the altitude.  In the first place, she had a fear of heights, and even this bravery is sheer gratitude to save lives.  At some point, Neil stopped vomiting, but did not wake.  As time passed, she is sure they have more than crossed the barrier.  She cast symbiosis on him once more.  Last Updated : 2022-03-09
