Rather than staying in water and suffering, Neil surfaced to catch his breath.  His gills have not yet retracted, neither did his eyes.  The detail with which he can see the night sky is amazing. More so, for he could only perceive magical and thermal bodies.  Adele is a shining beacon of magic. No wonder Kraken camped underneath her with such persistence.  Then, there were the bodies in the sky. Even without looking, he can tell, the magic beasts up there are far too big for him to even consider collecting their droppings.  Coming to collecting! Why is he suffering like this when he has a system?  <

Adele had settled into a gather and analyze mode once Neil left.  The divine water cleansed the inventory slot on Neil’s inventory box. However, one inventory slot could fit a lot.  Even better, Neil can breathe underwater, and the items are automatically sent over to another inventory slot when he collects another item.  All Adele has to do is catch and move just the mana stones to her own inventory.  After all, while the shop is built, and she could sell items in it, due to upgrades, it now needs four boxes.  The basic shop needs one storage slot per item, and a subspace storage box linked to whatever magic they are doing in

Adele and Neil both slept peacefully and deeply.  Under normal circumstances, which usually represent the lacking sleeping space, lacking food and lacking water, they would have gotten up long ago and started working.  Only, today they had enough to eat.  There is a kitchen where they can toast their bread, albeit very ancient, all the same, it existed.  There is a perfectly private toilet, even if it’s a little too eco conscious, it existed, and functioned well.  Then, there’s a properly cool water, which has accumulated overnight in the copper barrel.  Th

Neil only reached the bottom of the sinkhole after sinking through two hundred meters of the sea, a depth neither firecrabs, nor sharks can put up with easily.  He walked around in the sinkhole bottom, just to keep his blood flowing. While the softbody transformation allows him to reach the only kraken could reach, he also retains some human buffs.  Put simply, kraken is an olympic athlete in it’s capability, while softbody transformation is like an average human. I.e. The transformation’s limits are similar to the weakest kraken, not the most powerful.  At the two hundred meter mark, there was a small hole in the floor.
