Chapter fifty one: True Angel of Darkness
The Curious Mythologists hung their heads, their eyes fixed to the ground. They didn't dare look at Archangel Uriel out of dread. One could see their trembling hands and wobbling feet—they were just a few minutes from collapsing.Uriel let out a deep sigh. "I almost forgot how it feels to be at the peak of my power. It has been aeons... aeons of hiding in the Moor of Night. But, I figured out hiding wouldn't solve anything. So, I decided at last to come to the human world. I was right to make that decision."He looked at the Curious Mythologists. "Within a decade on earth, I finally found a compatible vessel. It didn't even take up to two years after that, and now I'm a true Archangel."The quartet listened attentively. No one even dreamt of responding to the Angel of Darkness. His appearance alone was capable of destroying their feeble existence."You can look at me now," Uriel said. "I've stabilized my powers. You've been marked by me, so you won't be affected in any way."The Curio
Chapter Fifty two: The Ulterior Motive
"Thank you for protecting my son," Mr. Stark bowed slightly to the Angel of Light. "How do I address you?"His eyes were fixated on the Angel, taking His every feature. This Angel looked just like Adam El and Michael—the same eye and hair colour. But, their auras were different. While Michael had this terrifying explosive aura and Adam El, a chaotic aura, this Angel's aura was holy. He seemed pious, as if He couldn't hurt an ant.Mr. Stark was smart enough to brush this off his heart. Angels were never harmless. And since this one had existed in the Garden of Eden for a long time, Mr. Stark knew very well that His hands were stained with countless blood."You can call me Raphael," the Archangel of Light replied warmly. "I'm the Archangel of Light, brother to Michael and Adam El.""About thanking me, you don't have to mention," Raphael smiled. "I mean, the entire Cosmos depends on Daniel. It's only right I protect him. I have my morals also."Daniel narrowed his eyes. "Brother to Micha
Chapter Fifty three: Realm of Forgotten Dreams
It felt so surreal, like a dream. Infinite realities blurred around him as he floated in an unknown direction. It seemed to unreal to him, but it was happening. His consciousness was drifting out of the Cosmos, rejected by the narrative.Cassio had once told him that they were nothing but fictional characters, ones created by His dream. The Supreme Dreamer, boundless and absolute, dreamt of the Cosmos and all its rules. It was by His consciousness that the Physical Cosmos contained all of space-time continuums—by His mind was the Metaphysical Cosmos birthed, everything within it.The Metaphysical Cosmos contained everything. It wasn't just an infinite plane of existence containing infinite other realms. It was the narrative itself—the story. The only realms not contained within were the Realm of Degradation which bordered it and the Abyss, and the Paradises which existed beyond the story itself.Cassio didn't just create the Cosmos, He also made it possible for the beings within to as
Chapter Fifty four: Danger About
Daniel strode through the forest, senses sharp and muscles taut. His eyes were narrowed, ears standing and nose sniffing; he had had a fair share of the perils within the forest—he knew better to be relaxed. He was drenched in a crimson liquid which had tried over time, a heavy copper smell stuck around him. He could still feel the slimy liquid on his skin. Although, it had dried the disgusting sensation was still there. For two weeks, he had survived in the forest alone, hunting things and being hunted himself. The forest was a canopy of omens, precarious and stygian. The sun which glared at him from above didn't serve to dispel the eerie sensation around. If anything, it plunged all hope into an ocean of despair—and perhaps, an unending survival mode.He had killed creatures, ones which he could have never imagined; nightmarish monsters which didn't belong in reality all fell to his claws, a testament to his insane prowess. Cursed monsters—these creatures were all Cursed monsters, b
