Jacob began to step down from the courthouse, he was smiling a bit when he saw the car that had pulled up in front of the courthouse there. He smiled and knew that there was nothing that would even match his joy at that moment. He didn't know that she would show up with one of his most expensive cars, it was like she wanted to send a message. “Did Claire tell you to do this Alissa dear?” Jacob was talking to a beautiful young lady that stepped down from the car, she had a dazzling smile on her face. It was clear she was thrilled to see Jacob. “My liege, it was my idea to come with the car since I was picking you up and besides you are not in any of their classes.” Jacob smiled at her wonderful gesture, it was something that no one in the courthouse would have predicted. The presence of the car and the lady driving it made everyone stand on pause. They were looking at the car and they could see that there was something else about Jacob that they didn't pick up. “Isn't that the man

It was a buzzing ballroom and every noble of the land of Alanoir gathered for a celebration of an accomplishment. Invitations had been sent and it was answered by every noble in the land, Count Philip Harth the man behind the party or would call it the host of the party was in the upper chamber greeting VIPs of the occasion. “Don't you see what is happening? It's a party and I want to let everyone know that this is an astonishing accomplishment” Count Philip Harth said while letting out a huge laugh. And there was Ian Verdamot, a charismatic young man six feet tall, the last of the bloodline of the house of Verdamot known for their distinguished white hair and blue eyes and considered by everyone as a weakling. He worked in the healing department of the empire and even though he had no social status he worked himself off and made a breakthrough in an elixir. The elixir of mana, as the name implied, was a groundbreaking discovery of a dose that could replenish mana after being

“Oh, I recognize the man in bed with my wife. ‘Final Nevadale’ from the upper house of Nevadale', it was him my wife chose to be with, and all this time I thought she was having a hard time but she was actually with another man” Ian said to himself as he stood up from the chair he was on. “What are you going to do now?” Finral asked as Ian kept his head bent still trying to hold back his rage and pain. Elizabeth got up from the bed dressed herself and ordered Finral to do the same, as they kept dressing up Ian walked up to Elizabeth and touched her but she retracted and then pushed his hand off her shoulder. She turned looked at Ian with a mischievous smile and asked, “What are you thinking?” Ian looked at Finral and then back to Elizabeth as he said, “I was expecting an apology, maybe an explanation. Probably your father set you up for this, I know.”With a hysterical laugh, Elizabeth looked at Ian straight into his eyes and told him, “This wasn't my father, it was me. I

“You want to tell me that there was a siege and you managed to fail in killing him there?!” The room was filled with different men who seemed to be angry about something, and in their midst was Cruz. It was as if he was being punished for failing to take Nathan out that chance he had. “I am sorry, great lords, I was not sure what was going to be the outcome of things, but…” “There are no buts.” He was silenced; it was like they didn't even want to listen to a thing he was about to say. “You were there with him in your sight, and you failed to even land a blow!” “And he has the mind to try and say something like an excuse of some sort? Is he insane?” Cruz bowed his head, he was filled with anger. He was piercing himself with his fingernail, burning with rage; nothing was going to hold him back from even taking down Nathan. “I know you think all the men you have rallied are going to be enough to do something, but if you are not going to move your body to take him down, then you

“So you haven't gotten any information on that man Nathan Specter? There should be something about him that would help us understand what he is and how he can walk above the law like that.” Michael Keaton was filled with pure rage, he didn't know what they were going to do to stop the wave that was coming with Nathan. “Sir, we have given you everything we know about him, and there is nothing else we can bring to you.” The worker there was looking at Michael, and he was not even sure that there was anything they would tell him to make him calm down and listen to them. Michael was looking at the men, and his pain was clear, and they were not going to deny the fact that he was possibly going to flip a switch if they didn't find what he wanted to know. “All this technology and not a single thing? There is nothing found on this man, not even a name or trace?!” Michael was looking at the workers; he was doing his best to hold in the anger, but it was not even working. “Is he a shadow

“What do you mean that Nathan is not available? We need to talk to him so we would know what we are going to be doing next and how we are going to be tackling Cruz in case he makes another move on the North.” “Sir, Cruz isn't going to be much of your problem now. I know you want to believe otherwise, but Lord Nathan is currently not here to do anything for you.” Carl was doing his best trying to make sure that he would hold his ground against the Elders of the Northern Plain, knowing that the moment they called it would mean that they were going to be asking for things like that. “So you are saying that Nathan is trying to avoid his duties as a general here.” “I said nothing like that, Elder Mac, but you see something is going on here that we would need to settle. Then if there is a chance for him to come there and help in any way he can, he…” “I knew that all of the Generals were the same. He is trying to leave his duties as a general and something else, but this is not going to

If there was anything that Nathan wanted to avoid aside from the spotlight, it was the fact that he would need to be protecting the people he cares about dearly at all times. "Liu, isn't there a way for me to make sure that they wouldn't be going for Rachel soon? Those people are relentless," Nathan was looking at the ceiling, they were thinking of ideas to make sure that they would not let anything happen to Rachel or Elena. Liu was going through everything he had, and he was not seeing an opening that would let him see something. "I don't know Nathan, the reporters are on your tail, and another thing is that your wife's identity was somehow leaked." Liu turned to Nathan, he was not sure if he was going to like what he had to tell him. "Cruz must have used it to his advantage after your fight with him at the Petoria Gala, he is not going to let you get far from him in any way." Nathan rolled his eyes. He knew that Cruz was someone stupid, but for him to do that meant that he was

The Martins were looking at Cruz like they had seen a fool enter their house, and they did nothing to stop him. "Who in the world do you think you are?" Luke walked up to Cruz, and he was looking at the man, and he wasn't going to be letting someone like that come into their home and give them a headache. "Young man, I would advise you to stay away and make sure that you won't come close to me." Cruz was looking at the young man as he walked closer to him. Luke noticed that the man wasn't someone he would be able to handle, and he had already crossed the line with him. "So tell me, are you going to finish what you started?" Cruz was looking at Luke; he wanted to see if he would be brave enough to do something that stupid, but then it looked like he was not going to be able to handle what was going on. Luke took a step back. He was looking at Cruz, seeing that the man in front of him was a crazy one, and if they made a mistake, it would mean that he was going to lose something. "

Ben was looking at Cruz, his blood boiled as he looked at the man. He wanted to hold him and strangle him for the chaos he had brought to the house. "You bastard!" He got up from his chair, walking to Cruz, who seemed to have a smile on his face. "What in the world do you think you are doing here?" Cruz tilted his head as he looked at the man, still smiling. "Me? Well, let's say I want to make sure that nothing is going to happen to your daughter, and I would want to make sure you would be informed." "Did we ask you for information?! You just showed up from nowhere, trying to cause trouble here!" Ben was looking at Cruz as he yelled his heart out; he wasn't going to let him stay there any longer. Ben pointed to the door, looking at the man, he wasn't going to have anything like an insult any longer. "Leave this place!" Cruz was looking at the old man in front of him, who had a smile on his face. "So you are rejecting my help?" He smiled as he walked past Ben, walking to the mid

Cruz was looking at Ben, he was silent, and there was no way anyone could have imagined that someone would be able to see through his act like that. He was looking at the man, and a smile was still on his face. There was no telling what he would have done to even look at someone who would stand the idea of questioning him like that. "If you must know, I don't like him and I want him to suffer as much as possible, so if you have a problem with that, then I am sorry to tell you that your sob story isn't going to cut anything for me." Cruz was looking at Ben, he was bound to think that there was something he would shake out of him, but nothing was going to come out of that encounter. "I want to ask you now, will you help me get what I want, or are you going to let your family fall apart?" Ben smiled. He turned to the little table beside him, taking a bottle of whiskey there. "You know, children like you are the reason parents often have migraines." Cruz rolled his eyes. he had gotte
