A man dressed in a dark suit stepped out of a black BMW in front of the Caldor Church, he walked down there in a calm and well-observed manner.

He stopped looking at the temple front, put his hands together, and began to say a prayer, which seemed to be in memory of someone.

His phone beeped, and he pulled it out of his pocket to look at it. He had an odd smile on his face, he picked up the call. “Tell me you have good news for me, ”

“Well sir, I have good news and bad news. I found the girl who saved you fifteen years ago, she had managed to survive that accident but then I think I got another news saying she got injured badly.”

The man’s smile disappeared, and he turned back to his car and began walking to it. “Send me the information you got.”

“I sent you the info you need on her to your email,”

The man looked at his phone, a bit confused when he saw the girl's name.

“So that’s her family, it will not be hard.”

The man was none other than Nathan Specter.

Fifteen years ago, Nathan’s family were all assassinated one by one in cold blood, the people of Caldor were trying to make sure that they would take the throne, they had taken their time to ensure they would get to Nathan. They planned an accident locking Nathan inside a bus trying to make sure that he would burn inside the car.

But then a girl rushed in to save him from the burning car not minding her safety. Nathan lost all 20 of his family members, and all the members of the Specter family were lost that night.

After he was rescued, Nathan ran down to the river, trying to escape from Caldor, not wanting anything to hurt him, he carried the memory of his family members being cut down one by one. The hate he had gave him the strength to push on. He managed to escape to the hills, and not looking back, he bumped into a man who took him to the Northern lands, where he trained alongside the man to become a soldier.

He kept training to make sure that he would not be as weak as he was when they tried to kill him. He taught throughout his stay in Northen Plains, moving from a nameless soldier to a feared General.

Fifteen years later, Nathan had become the most feared General. He also wore a mask, hiding his face from everyone his blades of justice landed on.

He had infiltrated an enemy camp to rescue the King of Northen Lands singlehandedly defeating 10,000 soldiers. After that event, his name was scarred into the minds of all his enemies.

Nathan had led soldiers into the battlefield and on every battlefield he entered with his soldiers he came out triumphant, he was an unstoppable force and no one could stand against his legendary troop.

He was later given the mantle of General, they called him The Masked General, which struck fear across the land, but being a general didnt stop Nathan from going into battle alone, everywhere he went he left the eenemy in ruins. Also gaining him the name Demon King Of The North.

He was the youngest General The North had ever seen.

Once Nathan was made General, after years of gathering strength and power he decided to retire and return to Caldor. He had a debt to pay and scores to settle, he was not going to let his family’s life go in vain.

“So, her name is Rachel Martins and she is the first daughter of the Martins Family,”

Nathan hung up his phone as he pulled out the device in his car that would show him all the information on Rachel, he had seen the scars on her body and it was clearly from the accident years ago.

‘She was badly hurt in that accident,’ Nathan whispered to himself, he wasn't sure what he was going to be doing there if it wasn't for him.

Fifteen years ago, during their vacation Rachel had witnessed a bus crash, she was trying to ensure that no one was hurt.

She saw the boy stuck inside the bus crying for help, she could have turned back and returned to her family.

But she decided to save him, the boy she saved was none other than Nathan.

That day changed her fate for the rest of her life. It left her with scars that made her the laughingstock of her school and her family.

They called her names making her look like a monster.

“Rachel, I owe you my life; know you won't remember me. I will ensure I pay you for all you have done for me.”

“I will have to make sure that I take everything that brought me back to Caldor individually.” Nathan began slowing down the car and then parked the car.

He got down to meet someone, he was looking at him trying to figure out some things before he met Rachel.

“It's good to see you are back in your homeland,” The man said as he pulled out a tablet and handed it to Nathan.

“I came back to take what belongs to me and make sure that my family would have the chance to rest in peace.” Nathan looked at the tab as the smile on his face disappeared slowly.

“So these are the names of the men who are supposedly behind my family's assassination?” Nathan looked at the man, he was a bit confused and wanted to understand what he would be dealing with.

“That's all their names,” the man said, looking at Nathan as he scanned the paper.

“There is something you need to know sir,’ The man tried to say something as Nathan scanned through the names.

Nathan looked at him, unsure what the man wanted to tell him.

“And that is?” Nathan was looking at the man in front of him.

“The Martins family are trying to marry off their daughter Rachel to any man who can take her.” The man blurted out the news.

Nathan was shocked when he heard what the man was trying to tell him. He didn't understand how he would take the news but it was too sudden.

“What do you mean by that? What happened and why are they trying to marry her like that?” Nathan looked at the man, he was still shocked that they were planning to marry off Rachel like that since they were not going to be getting anything from her.

“According to what I heard it turns out that they are calling her a deformed monster due to the wounds on her body and they do not want to have someone like that in their house,” The man said, he was looking at Nathan waiting for him to say something about it but then there was no reply or any retort from him.

“Tell me, where did she get those wounds from?” Nathan wanted to be sure he was not going to be making a mistake, he was not sure what it would get him if he were wrong but then.

“She got it from an accident fifteen years ago,” The man said looking at Nathan, he was not sure what it would do if he knew what happened to her.

Nathan clenched his fists, he didn't realize that the injuries Rachel suffered all those years were that severe. ‘So because of me, you are being treated like nothing? I will make sure that no one will ever make you feel like you are worth nothing again!’

Nathan turned to look at the man, “Plans changed, I am going to Martins Family Mansion, I want to take care of something there first. I will handle the other things later when I am back from there.”

“Sir, should I tell them that you are coming?” The man asked.

Nathan paused briefly, “No, I think it would be best if none of them knew that I was coming to pay them a visit.”

She shouldn't be allowed to be anywhere close to this house after we find a horrible loser to take her from our hands.” Elizabeth Martins scoffed. She was in the living room waiting for someone to walk in and tell them that they would want to marry Rachel. They were waiting for the results from the test they were holding. “Mother, I think that she should be thrown out, or maybe we can make her one of the maids if we are not able to find someone to take her deformed self out of this house,” Aria said in a mocking voice. She was the pampered princess of the Martins household. A

I came for someone important and I have taken her.” Nathan said to himself as he walked out of the Martins house not trying to look back. Rachel was confused, she didn't know why Nathan was even trying to take her home like that even when he knew that she was deformed. ‘It is oddly suspicious that there is something he is not telling everyone. It feels like he was only trying to make it look like he was some kind of big shot that would be able to handle anything that would come.’ Rachel was looking at Nathan as she tried

Nathan was still shocked that they were thinking of selling his family heirloom in an auction and it was clear they had concluded that there was no one left in the family that would come back to take it back. “So they think they erased all of the Specters like that? This is something I can work with.” Nathan was muttering to himself when he got the news. He turned to Carl, “So can you get me the information about this auction where it is held and the names o

The auction was in a few hours and he needed to appear there as one of the oddest-looking men so they wouldn’t think much of him. “So I need to carry weapons with me?” Nathan asked himself as he entered the car, Carl was seated there he was going to help Nathan get to the auction with no problems. “Sir, I also got Intel that the people who are trying to sell the heirloom have connections to the remaining four heirlooms,” Carl gave Nathan the run-through of what he was going to be expecting. Nathan rolled his eyes, he was not happy in any way and he was also not going to say anything other than the fact he was not sorry for denting the car. “I don't care if it was the Emperor you are carrying in your shit truck there, I would give you one piece of advice and that would be to learn how to drive.” Nathan was about to turn and walk away. “You bastard, you better stop right there!” The man yelled, it seemed like he was not going to let Nathan walk out on him like that. “You just dented, Lord Nico’s car! He knew she was either going to hate him for the rest of her life, or she would be one of the people who would support him through it all. Rachel looked at her husband, and she could tell by the look in his eyes that something was bothering him. “Is anything wrong?” She touched his cheek, looking at him with a worried look. “Tell me, did anything happen? Is anything bothering you?” Nathan smiled. He placed his hand on Rachel’s palm. He knew it was going to be a risky thing to do, but then it would be better to tell her what was going on than to keep it from her. He knew very well that secrets can't be hidden for long. “Nineteen years ago, I was locked in a burning car, left to die.” He began, he was looking at her, and he could see the look in her eyes. “I was in that burning car, no hope for me to walk out of it alive, but then something miraculous happened.” “A girl, somewhere around

He looked around and saw that there were eyes on him. “I wonder why they are looking at you that way. There has to be something else on their mind. Maybe they are shocked to see someone as handsome as you,” Carl smiled. He looked at Nathan, trying to understand what made the people around them look at Nathan like that. The General didn't even act like he was the one they were looking at; he didn't want to pay any attention to them. He knew there was something off, but he wasn't going to worry himself about it; there had to be something he would do. “Specter?!” Steven was looking at Rachel with a smile on his face. There was no telling why he had that look on his face, but it was clear that there was something making him smile. “Please tell me, is he in good health? I want to know if he is in good health.” The man was looking at Rachel, the smile still on his face. Elena was even more surprised than anyone else. There was no way she would have expected her customise to act like that, and it was not like he would do anything to harm Rachel, but he was being a bit creepy. “Mr. Lancer, I don't mean to be rude, but if I may ask, what is going on here?” Elena was looking at the man, trying to see if she would get an answer to her question. Steven turned to her, he had a smile on his face. “That necklace belonged to the family I used to serve as a butler, the Specter family. But let’s leave that, we have customers from all around the world, and they are loyal customers who would do anything to make sure that we keep working together.” Elena brought out a file and smiled. “Like this man, he has been working with me for the past eight years, one of the first people who started working with me.” Elena kept the file on the table, she had a smile on her face, and it was clear to Rachel that the customer was one
