the kidnapping
"Help..." Just as Wilson Hunt stepped out of the East Sea City International Airport, he caught a faint and weak cry for help. He hadn't even had a chance to feel the warm and welcoming atmosphere of his homeland. The airport entrance was chaotic, with travelers coming and going, and the noise was overwhelming. The weak cry for help was like a drop of water in the ocean, barely causing a ripple. If Wilson hadn't been so confident in his hearing, he might have thought he was imagining things. Ten o'clock direction. Wilson's ears twitched, and he quickly pinpointed the source of the sound. About three to four hundred yards away, two tall, burly men in black were dragging a woman toward a silver-gray van. The woman's toes scraped along the ground, and she showed no signs of resistance. She must have been drugged with something like ether and was temporarily unconscious. This was a kidnapping! Wilson immediately recognized the situation and instinctively prepared to intervene... But he st
encounter with the hot cop
"I'm a cop! Pull over right now!" Heather Baker shouted angrily as she rode her motorcycle, her voice directed at Wilson Hunt. Her eyebrows furrowed slightly, and her eyes flashed with a sharp intensity, exuding a heroic aura."Hey there, beautiful officer. How are you?" Wilson said, rolling down his car window and giving the stern policewoman a flirtatious wink. His eyes shamelessly roamed over her chest, which was quite well-developed and seemed ready to burst out of her uniform. It was incredibly enticing."Jerk, pull over!" Heather's eyes widened in fury as she caught Wilson's lecherous gaze. She wished she could gouge out his eyes."Calm down, beautiful officer. Getting angry isn't good for your chest's healthy development," Wilson said with a wicked smile, whistling like a rogue. Heather was so furious she could grind her teeth to dust. She hated when men stared at her chest, let alone this jerk who had the nerve to tease her. If she were driving a tank right now, she wouldn't h
Trailing the kidnappers
"Hey there, pretty lady, why'd you cuff yourself? What kind of game are you playing? Or do you have some special hobby?" Wilson Hunt teased Heather Baker maliciously, seeing her shocked expression. He had been scared out of his wits earlier. Although he couldn't do much to her, he could still take some verbal jabs."You bastard, what did you do to me? Do you believe I'll shoot you?" Heather yanked at the handcuffs, making them clink loudly. Her eyes were filled with murderous intent as her right hand quickly reached for the holster at her waist."Oh, I'm so scared, Officer. Are you threatening me?" Wilson said, feigning fear. With a flick of his wrist, a police-issued gun appeared in his hand. The mocking look on his face grew even more pronounced."My gun..." Heather's hand came up empty. She stared at the gun in Wilson's hand, her eyes wide with disbelief. When had that bastard managed to snatch her gun without her noticing?"Who the hell are you?" Heather demanded loudly, her expre
The Murder
"Tsk!" Wilson Hunt's lips curled into a disdainful smirk. Despite facing three handguns, he remained calm and composed. His unflinching demeanor made the bald thug feel a sudden wave of unease. Anyone who could stay this calm while being held at gunpoint was either a fool or someone so formidable that they didn't fear bullets or blades. Clearly, Wilson wasn't a fool."I'll ask you one question. Answer it well, and I might consider letting you go. If your answer displeases me, I won't hesitate to send you to join your buddy," Wilson said, tossing a small pebble in his hand and squinting his eyes. As he spoke, he walked closer to the three kidnappers, closing the distance between them. An invisible pressure emanated from him, making the air around them feel heavy and oppressive. If he didn't want to find out who had hired them, these three would already be corpses..."'Step any closer, and I'll blow your head off!" the third thug shouted, his voice betraying his fear. His hand, tremblin
The man in shadows
"Ugh.. Where am I?" Promise Nelson, who was tied to a wooden post, slowly regained consciousness. Her beautiful eyes opened, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings with a look of confusion. Brooke holstered his gun and quickly walked over to untie her, speaking softly, "Don't be afraid. We're the police. You're safe now.""Police?"Promise, still groggy from just waking up, was slow to process what was happening. With Brooke's help, she sat down on a nearby chair. It took her a moment to recall the events at the airport. Her father had mentioned that someone very important was coming to East Sea City and insisted she personally go to pick them up. She had canceled a company meeting and driven to the airport. As soon as she got out of the car, someone had covered her mouth and nose with something from behind, and she had lost consciousness. It was clear now—she had been kidnapped!"Thank you," Promise said, quickly composing herself. She tidied her disheveled hair, revealing her stunnin
Easy with my door
Wilson Hunt gently closed the car door. Violet Residence No. 1, one of the top three luxury villa areas in East Sea City, nestled against the mountains and by the water, with lush greenery and an incredibly beautiful environment, felt like a paradise on earth. Living here meant you were either rich or powerful!Wilson stepped out of the taxi and glanced at the golden letters on the gate that read "Violet Residence No. 1." He then walked straight towards the entrance."Hey, hey, hey, stop right there! What do you think you're doing?" The security guard, holding a plastic baton, jogged over and blocked Wilson, scrutinizing him from head to toe. Wilson was dressed plainly, definitely not someone who lived in Violet Residence No. 1. Besides, the guard had been working here for five years and had never seen him before."I'm here to see someone," Wilson replied honestly, standing at the gate."See someone? Who?" Although the guard didn't believe him, he still asked patiently, as a professio
A storm is coming
"Such strong killing intent." Wilson Hunt, who had spent years walking the edge of death, keenly sensed that there were at least ten bodyguards hidden around the villa. These weren't ordinary bodyguards either; they were likely soldiers who had seen combat and bloodshed. Wilson could feel their cold gazes fixed on him, ready to take him out at the slightest misstep. With a quick sweep of his peripheral vision, he noted the villa was surrounded by surveillance cameras, leaving no blind spots. Even he wasn't confident he could silently infiltrate the villa. Especially concerning was the top floor, where a faint but deeply unsettling aura emanated. A martial arts grandmaster! There was actually a grandmaster of the highest level here!"Damn, that old man tricked me again..." Wilson instantly regretted his decision. The villa's formidable security made it clear that this place was far from simple and could very well be life-threatening. The old man had assured him there was no danger, say
Ember gate
Promise Nelson left Violet Residence No. 1 with Wilson Hunt, her expression icy and her entire demeanor radiating a "stay away" vibe. She couldn't believe her dad had forced a male bodyguard on her—yes, a personal, 24/7 bodyguard. This meant that this stranger would be moving into her private villa, invading her life. The thought of having a strange man's eyes on her all the time made her feel uncomfortable and annoyed."Wilson Hunt, right? Listen up. I only agreed to my dad's request to keep him from worrying. It's just a temporary measure. I don't need a bodyguard, got it?" Promise said as she drove her dad's Porsche, barely out of the villa gates, eager to lay down the law with Wilson, who was sitting in the passenger seat."Got it," Wilson replied casually, while admiring the luxury car. Promise shot him a surprised glance. She had expected a lot of back-and-forth, but he agreed so easily. Well, that was good. It would make parting ways easier and less awkward for everyone."Okay,
Hell's society
Sandalwood Palace Villa, located at the junction of East Sea City's Tech Park and Dragon Splendor District, faced a large Dragon Heart Eco Park and had Southern Sandalwood Mountain at its back. The air was fresh, and the scenery was beautiful, rivaling even Violet Residence No. 1. Promise Nelson's villa, near Southern Sandalwood Mountain, was called 'Mountain Cottage.' It wasn't very large, with two floors and an attic. There was a swimming pool, garage, and flowerbeds downstairs. Though simple, it was tastefully decorated.Promise walked in with a stern face. She was in a very, very bad mood. "Hey, beautiful, don't be so stingy. Come on, give me a smile..." "Jerk, get lost!" Wilson Hunt had tried to lighten the mood, but all he got was an angry shout from Promise. Right now, Promise found Wilson extremely annoying and had no intention of being nice to him. Wilson scratched his nose and gave an awkward laugh. But then he remembered he had just tricked her out of three million dolla
Training the president
The next morning at seven o'clock, Promise Nelson walked out of her room with dark circles under her eyes. She hadn't slept a wink all night, tossing and turning in bed. Sometimes she wondered what her dad was hiding from her, and other times she worried that someone might sneak in while she was asleep. It left her utterly exhausted."Hey, when did a female panda move in?" Wilson Hunt, dressed in workout clothes, teased as he entered through the front door and noticed her dark circles.Promise's face remained cold. She didn't even glance at Wilson, treating him as if he didn't exist. She walked straight to the shoe cabinet and pulled out a pair of burgundy high heels.Wilson, unfazed by her cold shoulder, handed her a plastic bag. "I got you some soy milk and samosas from the corner." He had run a few laps around the Sandalwood Palace Villa area that morning, familiarizing himself with the surroundings and terrain. As a bodyguard, knowing the environment was crucial for quick reaction
