"I'm a cop! Pull over right now!" Heather Baker shouted angrily as she rode her motorcycle, her voice directed at Wilson Hunt. Her eyebrows furrowed slightly, and her eyes flashed with a sharp intensity, exuding a heroic aura.
"Hey there, beautiful officer. How are you?" Wilson said, rolling down his car window and giving the stern policewoman a flirtatious wink. His eyes shamelessly roamed over her chest, which was quite well-developed and seemed ready to burst out of her uniform. It was incredibly enticing. "Jerk, pull over!" Heather's eyes widened in fury as she caught Wilson's lecherous gaze. She wished she could gouge out his eyes. "Calm down, beautiful officer. Getting angry isn't good for your chest's healthy development," Wilson said with a wicked smile, whistling like a rogue. Heather was so furious she could grind her teeth to dust. She hated when men stared at her chest, let alone this jerk who had the nerve to tease her. If she were driving a tank right now, she wouldn't hesitate to run him over and crush him into pieces. "Beautiful, I've got urgent matters to attend to. See you around, bye-bye," Wilson mocked as his taxi roared away, leaving a trail of dust. With a few skillful swerves, he quickly disappeared into the traffic. "You bastard, think you can run? Not a chance." Heather's face was dark with determination as she leaned forward and slammed the throttle, chasing after him. The police motorcycle, with its dazzling red and blue lights, weaved through the traffic like a swift and agile cheetah. It turned out to be a false alarm. The men in black inside the van relaxed when they saw that the police motorcycle was targeting a taxi. They put away their guns and turned off the safety. The van slowly accelerated and merged back into the traffic. "Pull over! I'm warning you, if you don't stop, I'll shoot." Heather quickly caught up with Wilson again, but this time, her right hand was on her holster, ready to draw her gun. Although she had been transferred from the criminal investigation team, she still carried her firearm. Over the years, she had solved many major cases and made numerous enemies, including notorious criminals. To prevent any retaliatory attacks from their accomplices, the criminal investigation team had allowed her to keep her gun. "Damn... she's really going all out..." Wilson glanced at the relentless traffic cop, feeling frustrated. The traffic was too heavy; no matter how skilled he was, he couldn't make use of his driving abilities. In contrast, the police motorcycle maneuvered effortlessly through the traffic, sticking to him like glue. If he didn't shake off this persistent cop, how could he go save anyone? He regretted provoking her. If he had known she would be this difficult, he would have kept his mouth shut. If Wilson Hunt knew that this beautiful traffic cop used to be a member of the city's criminal investigation team, he would probably regret his actions even more. But at this moment, Wilson had no time to think about anything else. His mind was racing, trying to figure out how to escape from the traffic cop, completely ignoring Heather's warnings. Heather had warned him multiple times, but the taxi showed no signs of slowing down and was instead looking for an opportunity to flee. Furious, she decided to throw the rulebook out the window. She slammed on the brakes, causing her police motorcycle to screech to a halt, leaving a black mark on the road. She drew her gun and fired... Her actions were swift and precise, without any hesitation. Bang! Holy crap, that was a gunshot. "Are you kidding me? Even a traffic cop has a gun?" The shot caught Wilson completely off guard, leaving him no time to react. Pop! The left rear tire of the taxi was blown out, causing the car to spin out of control and veer towards a massive truck on the side. "Is this woman out of her mind?" Wilson couldn't help but curse as he gripped the steering wheel, tapping the brakes, shifting gears, and trying to slow down... Screech... The tires screeched against the pavement for a while before the taxi narrowly missed the truck and crashed into the roadside barrier, finally coming to a stop. Thankfully, there was no collision and no traffic accident. Wilson let out a sigh of relief. Heather was drenched in cold sweat, regretting her actions the moment she fired the shot. This was the busy airport highway. Her behavior was reckless, and a single mistake could have caused a massive traffic accident. The consequences would be unimaginable. Not only would her chances of returning to the criminal investigation team be dashed, but she might also lose her job as a police officer and face criminal charges... Thinking of this made Heather's scalp tingle with fear. "Are you out of your mind? Firing a gun on the airport highway with all this traffic! If you caused a pile-up, could you handle the responsibility? You're just a brainless bimbo. You should quit and go home to take care of kids. You have no business being a cop..." As Heather was berating herself, a man climbed out of the smoking taxi and started yelling at her. Wilson Hunt was furious. He had just narrowly escaped death! If it weren't for his good driving skills and quick reflexes, he'd be a goner by now... Heather was stunned by the scolding, taking a moment to snap out of it. Her face turned pale with anger as she pulled out a pair of handcuffs from behind her and walked toward Wilson, gritting her teeth. "You're under arrest for vehicle theft. Put your hands out." At that moment, a silver-gray minivan sped past them, blending into the traffic. Wilson glanced at the minivan and then at the smoking, stalled taxi, frowning. The taxi was out of commission. "Put your hands out, now!" Heather saw that the man wasn't moving and, suppressing her anger, shouted again, tightening her grip on her police gun, making her threat clear. Wilson Hunt took a deep breath, pointing at the silver-gray van disappearing at the end of the street. "Officer, I saw that silver-gray van at the airport. It kidnapped Magnus Nelson's daughter. I took the car to chase the kidnapper..." "Kidnapping? Magnus Nelson's daughter? Do you think I'm an idiot? Put your hands out now, or I'll make you," Heather scoffed at Wilson's words. Magnus Nelson was a billionaire in East Sea City, a city council representative, and a successful entrepreneur. Who would dare kidnap his daughter? Besides, if Promise Nelson had really been kidnapped, the entire police force would be on high alert, and the city would be locked down. There was no way she wouldn't have heard about it. While they were talking, the silver-gray van was getting further away, almost out of sight. "Officer, I'm telling the truth. Magnus Nelson's daughter has been kidnapped. Report it to your superiors and set up roadblocks to stop that van..." "Shut up." Heather interrupted Wilson again, her voice cold. "Save your lies for the station. This is your last warning. Put your hands out." Heather held her police gun firmly, the barrel pointed directly at Wilson. She wasn't going to be fooled by a car thief's excuses. All she wanted was to take Wilson back to the station, lock him up, and maybe rough him up a bit to vent her frustration. "'Sigh... Looks like I'll have to handle this myself." Wilson muttered helplessly, slowly raising his hands. He originally wanted to be a law-abiding, low-key citizen, but reality forced him to become a hero. Heather slid her gun back into its holster and quickly moved to cuff the suspect's wrist. Click! "Behave yourself and come back to the station with me. Don't try any funny business, or you'll regret it... Huh? What's going on?" Heather was about to escort the guy back to the station when she noticed something alarming. The handcuffs that should have been on the suspect's wrist were now mysteriously on her own wrist, with the other end cuffed to the taxi door. This couldn't be happening! Heather was dumbfounded. She had just cuffed the suspect herself. How did she end up being the one cuffed in the blink of an eye?

"Will you really agree to any of my requests?" Wilson Hunt asked, his hand sliding onto Kaitlyn's round, firm backside, giving it a squeeze. He wore a mischievous smile.Upstairs, Promise Nelson's face grew even darker upon hearing this. "Men are all the same," Promise muttered angrily. She turned and stormed into the private room, slamming the door behind her, startling Magnus Nelson inside. "Promise, what's wrong? Who made you angry? Where's Wilson? Didn't I ask you to bring him along?" Magnus asked, concerned as he saw his daughter's upset face."He's dead," Promise snapped back, clearly irritated.Uh... Magnus was taken aback. That sounded a bit odd. Downstairs, Kaitlyn couldn't help but smirk as she saw how upset Promise was. "Hmph, trying to compete with me for a man, Promise? You'll never win against me," Kaitlyn thought, her eyes gleaming with a victorious look. There seemed to be a deep grudge between her and Promise Nelson."Ahem, well, I have something to do. Bye now." "Alright, everyone, disperse. Go back to what you were doing..." "Move along, why are you still standing here? Got nothing to do? Get lost." "Didn't you hear Dawson? Get the hell out of here!" Some of the security guards who were close to Dawson immediately stepped up to shoo away the others, their attitudes arrogant and overbearing. Given Dawson's influence in the security department and the intimidation from his cronies, the other guards had no choice but to leave. A few even cast apologetic and sympathetic glances at Wilson Hunt. Offending Dawson meant that even if you were the newly appointed director by the CEO, life here would be tough. The previous director being forced to resign was a bloody example of that."Director Wilson, I'm really sorry, but we don't have any extra offices in the security department right now. You'll have to make do for the time being." Dawson turned to look at Wilson Hunt, whose face remained calm. Dawson's smile was insincere, and his eyes held a ch
