These soldiers move very quickly, working with gloved hands so as not to leave DNA around. Tom's body is returned to the van, and the driver is put back in his seat. The incriminating tapes are taken away, Carmen will take it with him, and the last touch is added; details to a Swiss account that holds over fifty million. The plan is very strategic. This will look like Tom Morgan deviated from the plan and tried to free the hostages for a good price, but they attacked him after the cuffs went off. They killed him and his men, and escaped. That's what the Professor will know. As for the bodies, once the police find them, they will see that Tom Morgan is a shady person, and the blue gums drugs will be exposed to the world, showing that the Petrov family is still selling drugs. “Will this be enough to expose the Professor?” Carmen asks, he and Roman are standing outside the van and observing the rest working. “Hell no,” Roman snorts. “It will only expose Jackson Black, and then he

The peace conference is successful, but the Professor is not happy at all. The crucial part of the entire success of this trip is for Mister Tom to do something, but he has totally gone AWOL on him. Roman watches him closely, waiting to see what his other step is going to be. “Is… um… your cousin brother still coming to this country?” He asks as casually as possible.“Distant cousin, butl, yes. It's not like he can meet me when we return because the dragon general blacklisted him from the court.” He lets out a dry laugh, but his face is still stiff with worry. Roman pushes himself back to a sitting position with his legs firmly on the ground. “You don't sound like you like the dragon general, sir.” Roman mentions. The Professor looks up from his phone, the first time he is doing this in over thirty minutes. “Well, years ago, he took out my cousin, or he thought he did, I tried to reach out to him to commend him on the good job, but he snubbed me.” The Professor sounds sharp wi

Jackson Black hesitates with distrust, before he walks into the room, and his brother immediately seizes him up in a tight and very long hug. “Well, bring it in, Jackie boy!” The Professor's grin looks so wide and painful. “I've missed you so much.” He finally lets go, and Jackson walks to the corner of the room, from where he can keep an eye on the brother he has never trusted. The Professor goes on to pour out two glasses of wine for them. “Forgive me, but we will just have to make do with the weak, non-alcoholic wine that I've been forced to take here because of my reputation around here.” He snorts. “It just tastes like piss, but it's a little tolerable.” “I'm good, thanks.” The Professor tilts his head to his side. “Jackson, you don't think I could try to poison you now, would you? You are my family!” “Yeah, the entire Petrov family is dead, and you think that I would trust you?” Jackson snorts. “Come on, now. Don't say that.” the Professor snorts. “I didn't kill our fami

Roman comes back home past midnight, and when he eases his car into the parking lot, he didn't expect for his wife to be awake. As soon as he steps out of the car, she bursts into tears as she falls into his hands. “I thought I would never see you again. Your job is a very dangerous one, and I don't like it one bit.” He allows her to cry against his chest, running his hand over her back gently. “I'm sorry that I make you worry so much.” She takes him into the house and makes sure that he takes a very hot bath, then she makes some fresh food for him and watches as he eats. He is eating slowly, she doesn't like that he looks so out of this world. What horrors did he see where he went? “An important man died there, you know.” She says. “I watched the news, and I got scared.” “Yes, Stephanie. It was a very unfortunate thing that happened.” He agrees. She shifts on her seat and polls herself closer to him. “They said that Jackson Black did it, do you believe?” Roman shrugs, this i

When they get to the house, Stephanie is grateful that Roman is not home, so that she wouldn't have to be scared. Athena gladly takes Alex to her room, so that they can be served lunch by the servants, and she uses the opportunity to show him her books in the library. Alex's mum winces as Stephanie puts the final bandage around her arm with a satisfied smile. “There, all better. You don't have to get worried about it, at least for today.” The lady looks at the hand, and even though she can't practically move it too much, she laughs. “I don't have to go to the hospital?” Stephanie eyes squints, but she nods. “Yeah, you don't. But it needs to be checked every few days, and I can do that for you.” She nods and puts her hand away, before grabbing her hand bag. “Thank you…” “Stephanie,” she completes the sentence. “I'm Doctor Stephanie.” “You are a good person, Stephanie. I didn't take Alex away like that because I was trying to be rude, but we don't want to draw attention to ourse

Roman sits down and listens to thirty minutes of everything that Stephanie has to say. She is so passionate about it. Jackson has a son, and his son uses his mum's last name to keep him untraceable. His logic was hiding his family right under the Professor's nose, so that he won't find out. Oksana and Alex came into the country with fake papers, and managed to stay under the radar for close to seven months. Alex was getting very bored and restless, and that's why his Dad and Oksana decided to enroll him into the best school in the city. Oksana is very thankful that she met Stephanie, and Stephanie is more than determined to help her. At the end of the entire narration, Roman picks up the cup of tea that Stephanie made and drinks from it. “Aren't you going to say anything?” Stephanie sighs. “The suspense is killing me.” “Stephanie, babe, I don't think there is anything to say.” He placed a hand on her knee. “You didn't listen to what I said, then!” She shakes her head stubborn

The truth is that Oksana has been scared too, because she believes that one day the Professor will find out about her and her son. She would have stayed away from Stephanie if she had known that Stephanie’s husband was working for the Professor, but it's too late now. Roman is harsh, and strict, but he has made her understand that even though he is about to throw her into the ocean like bait, he will still offer her protection. He might be cold, but he is not heartless. Not when he has a wife and daughter at home. Oksana leans to the side as she uses her handkerchief to wipe her tears from her face. “I… I want to speak to the dragon general.” She finally looks up. “I want to plead my case, I'm not a bad person.” “Oksana, I don't know what your definition of a bad person is, but you murdered people.” “But so did the dragon general, and everyone is praising him. Heck, even Anthony Petrov! He calls himself the Professor now, and people believe that he can't hurt a fly!” She cries

Jackson has gone into hiding again, and he hates himself for running away like a coward. Thankfully, he has a safe house on an island, and no one can find him here. He drowns himself in alcohol, strong cigarettes, and working out like a lunatic on steroids. His brother has fucked him up again, and a whole country thinks that he has a hand in killing one of their congressmen. As he sits in the large rocks that covers one side of the beach, he stares at the small vial in his hand. The sparkling blue liquid in it catches his attention like a moth to fire, and he holds it against the light of the sun. The mystery; the blue gum drug. The irony is that everyone in the world thinks that he is distributing this, but he never approved it from his end. At least not to his men. His brother was the one encouraging him to get back into the business, swearing that he has his back. He should have known something was up when his brother offered to fund the research, the production of the fir

Oksana unfolds the mirror and pushes her hair away from her face. She knows that she looks a mess, she feels like anyone who looks into her face will be able to tell how rough of a patch she has been experiencing of late. She notice a dried streak of blood under her chin, and she curse under her breath as she struggles to peel it off. She glance at her phone, seeing that she has less than an hour to put a stop to this nonsense. She has taken her bath so recently that her hair hasn't fully dry. It doesn't matter, because time is not on her side. Armed with her parental card, she shows it to the security, and they allow her into the building. She makes the turn, and doesn't bother to knock as she enters into the principal's office. The principal looks up and gasps when she sees her. “Miss Bondar!!” Oksana sits down and forces herself to smile at the startled woman. She is startled herself, and she hasn't recovered. “Hello, Principal.” “Miss, you are in a lot of trouble. We ar

Jackson keeps zooming at Roman's picture, and he has been like this for almost three hours. Oksana has come back from the medical store, and she used some video tutorials from the internet to guide her to patch him up. She did this because it wouldn't be a good idea to drive him to the hospital. He is not supposed to even be in the country in the first place .“You know what, Jackson? I think you've lost so much blood that you think that you killed Roman before,” she tells him. “He just works for the dragon general, that's all.” He sighs as he finally puts down the phone. “Yeah, maybe you're right. No hard feelings, he was just carrying out his duty to the dragon general.” Oksana nods with satisfaction. She has to head out again. Alex will be returning tomorrow, and she needs to prepare a good meal for all of them to have dinner. She is glad that Jackson survived. He will need to recover in the house for a few days, but he will be forced to leave afterwards…“Alright, don't d
