NINE YEARS AGOThe Sincroft family is one that is small– just three members– but they are full of so much love. Today, they have all returned from their busy job, because May, the matriarch of the family, has insisted that they will take the weekend off to their cabin in the woods. They've all been working so hard for months now, and it's a well deserved break. Jonathan Sincroft, the father, is a police detective, and a very good one at that. May Sincroft is an investigative journalist, who finds herself working with her detective husband many times. Jonathan Roman Sincroft Jr, the only child of the couple, is a 3rd year student at an Ivy League University. “Jonathan! Grab the blankets from the bedroom!” His mother yells out for him. She is in the kitchen with her husband, and they are packing food packs into the baskets. Jonathan returns with the blankets, together with all the luggages they will be needing, and their jeep is loaded. Jonathan Sr goes to lock up the house,

Roman was scared that she wouldn't want to associate herself with him, given that he looks so different, but Stephanie is not that kind of person. She skips her rest of the party, and decides to stay in her room with Roman. He needed this break to recover. He has shown his stab wound to her, and thankfully, she didn't freak out. She chose to get some supplies, and help him to clean up. She is just as in love with him as he is with her. Maybe Roman’s life can have meaning again. Maybe she can give it meaning. “You look different.” She tells him. “What happened to you?” He is sitting on the bed without a shirt. “I had an accident.” “I actually thought you were on vacation with your family. I was worried when I heard about the death of that detective. I thought it was you who died in the fire.” She sighs. Roman looks down at his hands, fearing that he would break character if he looks at her. “Not me, luckily.” He chuckles painfully. “I wonder how their family feels about what

They are still staring into each other's faces, and Roman has not changed his mind about wanting to kill Jackson Black. If anything, he wants to kill him even more. “Do you know who I am?” Roman asks him. “I do,” Jackson nods. “You're the young boy who somehow survived my attack on his family seven years ago. You're the man who put a bullet in me five years ago, but I managed to survive. The whole world might not know your secret, Roman Croft, but I know that you are the dragon general.” “And you have the audacity to stand in my presence and ask me for anything?!” Roman barks. Jackson's throat ripples. “I'm not begging for my life. You can kill me after all of this, but I refuse to go down without explaining my side of things.” “You're a Petrov, even if you are an illegitimate one, you still are. You are not to be trusted, that's for sure. You and your wolf in sheep clothing of a brother!” “Yet you work for him,” Jackson says. “He speaks so highly of you and how he is going to

Truth Media. They are known as an unbending, highly independent and unbiased media house that never minces words when it comes to politics. Anthony Petrov would have chosen to go for more accommodating newshouses around, they would willingly give him the most easy and less controversial questions, but his ego has led him to this place. Roman parks the car in the parking lot and peers out to stare at the big sign sitting on the skyscraper. “They have hundreds of millions of viewers,” the Professor adjusts his tie. “Needles fo say that my interview is going to get them the highest traffic. I'm doing them a favour.” The truth Media is not something that is new to Roman. They have sent hundreds of invites to interview rhe great God of war, but Roman has turned them down each time. When he decided to become the cold hearted general of justice, he was not doing it for the fame. That was just a byproduct of it all. “Sir, do you need a few minutes to get ready? I'm sure they won't min

The phone is already loudly dialing before Roman finds his way to the bathroom. Jackson picks up, and Roman immediately hears the excitement in his voice. “Roman? Are you watching the news? She is absolutely destroying him!” He laughs with glee. “Yeah, because you gave her all the points she needed.” “You're damn right, I did.” He owns it with a huff. “I told you that I’m done being the bad guy. It's time the rest of the world gets to hear my side of the story.” Roman sighs as he presses a hand over his forehead. “I thought I told you to stay put, Jackson.”“With all due respect, dragon general, I am not sure I can wait. My son is growing, and I don't want him to suddenly find out that I am the villain of the world, I'm sure you understand.” Roman angrily ends the call, because Jackson has refused to see reason in this. How can he not see that this is not a good idea? Anthony Petrov, the Professor, is his brother, so he should know what happens when he pushes him to the limit.

The Professor is having a crash out and Roman has never expected that a man who has half of the world fooled would ever act this way. Things are crashing in his study, and Linc and Roman are sitting in the living room, without doing anything. “This is your fault.” Linc says. “Of course Linc, it's my fault that Anthony Petrov decided to kill a journalist.” Roman replies with sarcasm. The media has been in a frenzy, and many speculations are flying around. The people who have always been super skeptical about the Professor have concluded that he has killed the journalist lady, and his followers have come out in their numbers to defend him. It caused a very chaotic exchange in one of the busiest streets in the city, and about ten people have been injured. The police have been deployed to return sanity back to the city, but some businesses and schools have temporarily shut down, so as not to be caught in the crossfire. The Professor has refused to leave his accommodations, and tu

How is it that the dragon general has a meeting set with the Professor, and nothing has gone through Roman yet. This can only mean one thing. More of the generals and commanders in the army have started to take decisions without consulting him. The rot has started to infiltrate the one section of this country that Roman built with his sweat and blood. He leaves the Professor’s residence, dreading how much that Stephanie and Athena have to pay for his mission by enduring his absence. His phone rings, and he is suddenly made to pull to the side of the road. It's Carmen. He has been calling an awful lot nowadays. “Good afternoon, General. I had to call you immediately because news reaching me now is that a meeting has been set between the dragon general, other generals, and the Professor. I'm surprised, because you never approved everything.” Roman lips twist with disdain. “Carmen, I am also absolutely disappointed that something like this will be approved. Anthony Petrov is mak

The Professor looks so happy with himself as the high ranking officials run their hands over the money and feel them. He allows the feeling to marinate well in their minds, and then Linc comes back and takes it from them. Their faces fall with dismay, but the Professor just chuckles. “Do not worry, gentlemen. Your gifts will be waiting for you when we finish. I just need you to concentrate on business.” And concentrate they do. The place is as silent as a graveyard and their eyes are blinking at the Professor. “Many of you may not know this, but this is not the first time that the dragon general is rejecting a meeting with me. For some reason, he hates me…” The men mutters with confusion. “But, Professor, this is hard to believe. Both of you work for the same cause, so I believe that you both would make the greatest of friends.” “Well, maybe you are very wrong, because I strongly believe that the dragon general has deceived you all. He has refused to meet with me because he kn

The man is shaking so hard that Roman thinks that he is going to get a heart attack. Roman has saved General Smith's life many times, and never would he have imagined that the great Dragon General is just a young boy in his thirties. He carried the knowledge and expertise of an old wise man, this is too much for one person to take in! Roman helps the shaking man to his feet with a smile. “Please, my colleague, I will need you to not allow your heart to turn weak. Your wife still needs you, remember?” General Smith's lips are still parted and at this point, a few drops of tears leaves his eyes. “Sir, I warned them! I tried to make them see the senselessness in their ways, but they refused! How can they so mindlessly turn against you?” Roman placed his hands firmly on his shoulders. “It's life, Smith, but I am so glad that I have people like you. People that I can lean on, no matter what.” Smith wipes the tears from his eyes. “I'm sorry that you had to leave your young family an

Oksana has visited Stephanie again, and this time. They are in the kitchen sharing a half bottle of wine. It's a play date for both of the kids, and Stephanie is using this opportunity to get to know Oksana better. She thought that Oksana and her were becoming better friends, but after Oksana mysteriously went missing the other time, it seems that she has been pulling more and more away from Stephanie. “How is the father of your son?” Stephanie asks. “Is he still in town?” “No,” Oksana raise her glass to her lips. “He is a wanted man, remember? He left as soon as he got the chance.” “Oh, thank God,” Stephanie heaves. “I was worried, because you know, the Professor...” Oksana looks at her finger, gently tapping against the flat surface of the kitchen Island. “I've been meaning to ask you, Stephanie. What exactly does your husband do?” Stephanie immediately bites her lips as she tilts her head to the side in concentration. “To be honest, Oksana, I'm not sure I know. He works cl
