“Roman? What the hell is he doing here?!” John shouts. “Hey!” Before John knows what's happening, he has been pushed to the wall and even though Roman was about to enter without any drama, now he has noticed John. “Mister Kent.” Roman looks at his wristwatch. “The last time I was at your house, you were nowhere to be found.” “You asshole!” John charges at Roman, but before he could even get his hands on him, he finds himself tackled to the ground. The security men are pressing his arms behind him, ready to throw him in handcuffs.John is pink in the face with shame. This has got to be the most embarrassing moment of his life. “We apologize, sir. We don't think that this man knows who you are. He must be missing a few screws in his head.” Roman squats in front of Roman, who is wriggling like a worm, and he smirks. “No, no need for handcuffs. I think he has learnt his lesson.” John push the men away from him, quickly standing up and beating the dust off his body. “This is not

Roman is waving at all the good people that are thrilled that he has gotten this award. John Kent believes deep in his heart that nobody like Roman should have this award, but he is too naive to have an opinion. For the last three years, Roman has been traveling to the poorest countries, where thousands of teenage girls would be taken by terrorist groups, and since the country was so poor, they didn't have the resources to bring the girls back to their families. Roman got information about the problem, and he immediately took it upon himself to bring them back. He took out money from his pocket– tens of millions– took only a hundred of his highly trained soldiers, and he annihilated the groups. Roman did this over many years throughout over fifteen countries, and he banned any news outlets from talking about it in the media. The people who knew about this wonderful thing that he did got together and nominated him for the award, and there was no objection. Roman banned them from

John Kent drives into his house in a very angry mood. The servants have studied the Kent family very well, and they know that if John drives back this angrily, they might receive a few slaps from him. The ones who aren't needed immediately flee to the servants' quarters, and the rest of them keep a safe distance from him. He slams the door shut and ignores all the greetings to walk straight to the house. He has just touched the knob of the door when it bursts open and a crying Pumpkin falls into his hands. “Not now, Pumpkin, Daddy doesn't have the time to buy you another poodle.” He grunts. “Go and play in your room. I am busy.” Seeing that her father is trying to ignore her, this makes Pumpkin cry even more. She throws herself on the ground and hits her fisted hands against the floor. “Daddy, I am not crying because I want a poodle! I am crying because mummy didn't come home yesterday, and her phone has been turned off.” John immediately feels a chill run from his dead down

Never has Finna been locked up in her life, not even when she knocked that homeless woman down when she was eighteen. Her father bribed the police, and somehow the woman was blamed for walking so close to the road…Today, karma has finally caught up with her. She has been thrown behind bars, and she feels like crumbling into herself. The bars are cold and disgusting. She is sure that if there was any source of light, she would see that it's so full of germs. Her bladder is about to burst from being too full, but she would rather die than use the smelly toilet in the corner. She is wiping her eyes as she hugs herself and keeps telling herself it's okay. “Do you want us to call your family and inform them that you are going to be here for a while?” The police man calls out to her. “No!” She quickly objects. She hates it here, she doesn't want to spend another minute here, but she would rather not allow John to hear of this. Her husband is strict and would lose his mind if he fi

Because Roman is trying to maintain a calm profile around the city, he has decided that he will walk around the city, or use a cab. In oppose to going about in a convoy. After he has gotten out of the police station, he is walking down the street when a Benz pulls by the side of the road. Carmen steps out and salutes to him. “Good morning, sir. You were gone by the time I got to the house.” “I needed the walk, Carmen. I didn't think I would ever be saying this, but I miss the intense workout in the army.” Yeah, the training is so vigorous that if his wife or daughter sees it, he will end up scaring them. That's why he just has to stick with walking or jogging. “I'm sorry, sir. I thought that you would want a ride back to the house. Your wife and daughter are just waking up. I'm sure you don't want to miss breakfast with them.” It's true, though. Roman misses his daughter and his wife, so he just gets into the car. Carmen starts the car and drives away. “How is Madame's sister

“The dragon general is a very busy man, sir. Why do you need his contact information.” Mister Beerson frowns. “Like I said, boy, it's none of your business. Are you scared that I am going to tell him that you have been lying around the city and that you are a big deal?” “I'm sorry, Mister Beerson, but the dragon general doesn't like us sharing his information with strangers.” Roman says. “How dare you call me a stranger, I am a guest in his house!” Mister Beerson roars. “I know that you are scared, but don't you worry. I will get my hand on his contact, and I will have you kicked out of that huge house that makes your head swell with so much pride!” Roman wants to throw his head back and laugh at this foolish man. The irony of the entire thing is that Mister Beerson is trying to report Roman to himself!Roman decides that this is going to be very amusing, so he takes out a pen and paper from his pocket and starts to write out an email address. “Listen, please, this is his email

John has something else worrying his mind now that Finna is finally back home. Roman Croft hasn't left his mind for days, and he has to make sure that he finds out the secret of Roman Croft, and why he has suddenly returned from the military. Was he discharged involuntarily? Why is he living in a house that he and his poor wife can clearly not afford? He is walking towards the door when he is suddenly waylaid by his daughter. “Good morning, Pumpkin. It's so early in the morning, why are you up?” Pumpkin is so spoiled that she doesn't even bother to say good morning to her father. Instead, she thrusts a picture she cut out from one of her books. “Dad, I have been thinking a lot, and I have decided that I don't want another poodle.” “Really?” “Yes. I have decided that I want a baby elephant. Our house has been fixed, I can keep it in the garden. I will be the first person in my school to get a pet elephant!” She squeaks. John sighs. “Okay, Pumpkin, but that has to get to work r

After almost a month since Finna and her wicked husband closed the door of their home in her parents’ face, she decides to go and pay them a visit. She hasn't been to Stephanie's house before, so she was very very confused when she gets to the huge mansion – literally the biggest in the estate. She checks her phone, just to make sure that she is in the right place, and she is! She has heard how huge the mansion is, but she never imagined that it would be like this. The gateman opens the door to her. “Are you here to see the members of the Croft family?” “No, I'm here to see my parents. Mister and Missus Beerson.” “Ah, then you must walk a little while and turn left.” The man points. Seriously?! So, Stephanie really put her parents in the servants' quarters? She huffs, holding her bag properly as she starts the walk. She imagines that her parents are living in a very poor house, as punishment for how they treated Stephanie, but for the second time in less than thirty minutes,

John is still in a cheerful mood. He has just closed another hefty deal, and he is on his way to pin some hideous crime on Roman. Lying about being a member of the army is considered a crime in this country, and he will be forced to make a public apology and even spend a while in prison. Of course the former cripple, Stephanie, can join him, and then their daughter will be thrown into the foster system. He has decided to go out for a celebratory drink as he waits for the private investigator to get back to him. He has just stepped out of his office when his secretary comes to him with the wireless telephone in her hand. “Excuse me, sir, but you just missed an important call right now.” John waves it off. “Take a message, I will get back to them when I am back in a few hours.” The secretary glances at the phone in her hand. “Sir, I believe that he said it's very urgent. It's from Mister Jay Clarkson.” Jay Clarkson is the private investigator. He was supposed to get back to Joh

Stephanie is happy with her life now, but for someone who has been traumatized by abject poverty and neglect in the last seven years, she would be stupid to relax in this fairy tale. It's true that she lives in a mansion now, her dear husband is back, and her daughter is living the life that she has been praying for, for her. She is still deep in her thoughts when Roman walks into the room. He is not an over-dresser, he is just in a simple black packet shirt, and black trousers, but he looks so handsome and formal. “How do I look?” Roman smiles. “As cute as a button.” she chuckles as she stands up. She gives him a kiss and then arranges his collar. “Where is my handsome husband heading to?” “To see a friend?” He shrugs. “Oh.” Her eyebrow rise. “I didn't know that you have any friends.” He laughs as his hand brush his eyebrow. “Yeah, I'm trying.” “Are you trying to get a job, Roman?” Roman stops. That's not a question that he was expecting from her. “Why? Do you want me to
