The bright red laser dots danced across the chest of Maeson. The heavy wind from the five black helicopters beat down on the mountain peak. Loose dirt and small rocks flew through the cold night air. Maeson pulled his sister behind him and gripped his heavy black bag. The thousands of glass tubes stood open like hollow graves. The ancient warriors walked out with slow, steady steps. Their skin looked like gray stone, and their eyes burned with the same harsh purple light he saw on the mountain peak. They did not speak. They did not scream.
