A few minutes earlier, back in the restroom, Cyan had caught Anthony in the act with Lizzy. From the fragments of their conversation, he was certain they were cheating on someone. Without hesitation, he pulled out his phone and began recording. The sight of them tangled together dragged up the old wound of Stella’s betrayal. For a fleeting moment he considered uploading the video for the world to see—forcing Anthony and Zoey to hide their faces in shame. Then he shoved the thought aside. They could do whatever they wanted. It no longer concerned him. He stopped the recording and walked out.Only now, after discovering that Anthony had never truly loved Zoey and had merely been leeching off her wealth, did Cyan decide to upload the video. The moment it played, the room erupted. People stood with mouths open, phones already raised, snapping pictures and filming every second of the unfolding scandal.“Isn’t he the one dating Zoey Rivers? He’s so shameless—having sex with her supposed

Everywhere went quiet for a few minutes as everyone stared at Cyan. But all of a sudden, Anthony's laughter echoed throughout the entire hall.He laughed and clapped his hands, apparently unable to believe what he had just heard. After a moment, he raised his head and gave her a casual smile.“If it's about dating you, then there's no problem! I accept your proposal.”Claire's expression twisted the moment she heard his response. She wasn't comfortable with Cyan agreeing to date Zoey. However, what right did she have to object? Cyan was free to make his own decisions, and she was nothing more than his right-hand woman. She had no right to get angry over whom he spoke to or chose to associate with, let alone whom he decided to date.Still, that didn't stop the unpleasant feeling from rising in her chest.“So, from today onward, we're a couple?”Cyan asked sarcastically, clearly not taking the supposed relationship seriously.Zoey didn't find his words funny. Instead of responding to his sarcasm, s
