Perry said, "What? Why? Why should we go if it is a trap? He might have fire again!"John said, "Because it's time to expose Blake once and for all. If we keep hiding, he will keep bullying other students and stealing money. If we go there, we can catch him doing bad things and show everyone who he really is."Perry asked, "What do you have in mind? How do we expose him?"John said, "I will call Gwen, to live stream this event on her Flux Tube social account live because it has a great number of followers. Everyone in school follows Gwen. If she streams it live, the whole school will see what Blake does. Hopefully his boss is there with him. I really want to know who is backing him."Perry said, "But it's dangerous, John. What if Blake has more fire? What if he has help?"John smiled and put a hand on Perry's shoulder."You defeated Blake yesterday, didn't you? It's time to do it again. And this time, I will be there with you."Perry thought for a second, then he started feeling con

Back at the warehouse, John heard Kane's answer and shook his head."You don't need to lie," John said, his voice calm but strong. "I know you stole money from the school's accounts. I know you took thirty thousand dollars from the finance records."Mr. Kane's smile froze. He was shocked. His eyes opened wide."What? How did you know that?" Mr. Kane asked, his voice suddenly sharp. "Who told you that?"Blake also looked shocked and looked at Kane.John said, "I have my ways. Just like you have your ways."Mr. Kane was quiet for two seconds, then he started laughing again, but this laugh was nervous."So what? What if I did? What would John do? Tell on me? No one will believe John. You are just a common student. I was vice principal here for years. The board trusts me more than you."John shrugged and said, "Yep. No one will believe me. That's why I won't say anything. Besides, I am here for the peace party. I am not here to fight."In John's mind he was laughing hard. “You just confir

A loud roar was heard outside, from inside the mansion. The roar was so loud that birds flew away from the trees around the mansion. The ground shook a little.Blake and Mr. Kane heard the roar from where they were standing near the pick up truck. They laughed hard.Blake said, "Hahaha! Did you hear that? The beast woke up! Those two idiots are dead now!"Mr. Kane also laughed, wiping dust from his coat. "Yes! That is what happens when you mess with Victor Kane. Let the dungeon keeper eat them. No one will ever find their bodies. The dungeon will eat all the evidence."Inside the mansion, the living room was now full of smoke. The dungeon hole in the floor was glowing bright purple and it was spinning faster. From inside the hole, something big was climbing out.Perry was behind John. He was scared, his whole body was shaking, looking at a horrifying creature. It was tall like a house. Its body was made of black rocks and dark crystal. Its arms were long and thick, with sharp claws m

He used his last shadows. He made one final shadow spread on the floor, but this time under the keeper's feet only, making it slip. The keeper lost balance and fell on one knee.John dashed forward one last time."Shadow Slice!"He cut straight across the cracked chest where the red light was. The core broke.Crack! The dungeon keeper froze. The red eyes went off. Then its whole stone body started to break into pieces, falling to the floor like broken rocks.Perry stood up, his mouth open, surprised, happy, and scared all at once.He said, "You... you killed it... you killed a B rank... alone…”John still had a grin on his face.He thought to himself that it felt great to have defeated the dungeon keeper. His body felt light. His hands were still tingling with shadow power. He had not fought like that in a long time. The body of the dungeon keeper evaporated. The black rocks broke into dust and then into purple light. This was what happened to the bodies of keepers after they died.
