One week later, Good Deed System finally began to take shape. The office that had once been empty was now furnished with desks, computers, and several consultation rooms. The administrative team had started working, while Daniel Foster had officially accepted responsibility for leading the social assistance division. Damian arrived that morning to inspect the progress. Daniel greeted him in the lobby. "We've completed most of the preparations. The administrative team has also begun receiving several initial assistance applications." "Already?" "Yes. Most of them concern educational expenses and families who have lost their sources of income." Daniel handed him a brief report. Damian read it carefully. One application came from a single father who had lost his job after the company he worked for re

The following morning, Damian received an update from Marcus regarding the acquisition of Group Celine. The number of shares they owned continued to increase. Damian read the report calmly before looking up. "It seems we're getting closer to our goal." Marcus nodded. "That's right. Several major shareholders have agreed to negotiate. If the next transaction is completed, our ownership will become the largest in the group." "Good. Don't let anyone discover your real identity." "Don't worry. All transactions are still being conducted through the investment company." Damian closed the report. "Then continue." He had no intention of revealing himself to Celine yet. However, the closer they came to gaining control of the company, the closer she was to facing the truth.

The meeting lasted nearly an hour. Before leaving, Adrian informed her that the investors would review several projects considered to have the greatest potential. Celine escorted him to the conference room door.“Thank you for being willing to support Celine Group. I hope we can build a good working relationship.” “Trust must be proven through results, Miss Celine.” Celine smiled. “I'll remember that.” After the representatives left, she returned to her seat. There was still a great deal of work to be done, but at least the company now had stronger financial backing. Elsewhere, Damian received a report about the meeting.“How did Celine behave?” he asked Marcus over the phone. “She was quite cooperative. She also showed a genuine desire to improve the company. However, se

“If you're not busy, come over to my apartment. I'd like to try cooking something.” “Are you sure you want to cook after such an exhausting week?” “I can always order food if it doesn't turn out well.” “Then I'll come.” Angelic smiled with satisfaction. The following evening, Damian arrived carrying several bags of groceries. Angelic was already waiting for him at her apartment, her hair tied back casually and dressed in comfortable home clothes. “You brought so much.” “I wasn't sure what you wanted to cook, so I bought a few options.” “Then let's see which one of us is the better cook.” Damian raised both hands. “I'm not admitting defeat before I've even tried.” <
