Benjamin came to Ryeâs Pizzas and quickly changed back into his regular clothing and rushed out to meet Rebecca at her car. However, she was salty, and she didnât open the door.âOpen it, love,â he knocked on the door multiple times. âIâm sorry. I wanted to come early, but it took me this long to cross the 100-dollar mark.ââIâve been here for more than two hours,â she slightly lowered the window and said. She was thinking of rewarding him for his help that morning, but now, she was having second thoughts about it. âI have never waited for someone so long in my entire life.âShe did wait for hours for her mother to come home when she was a little kid. But she didnât exclude those memories right now.âTell me what to do,â Benjamin said. âDo you want me to do 100 sit-ups?â He touched his ears and started doing sit-ups.After he did more than forty, the back door opened.Benjamin stopped doing the sit-ups and quickly entered the car.âI would have let you do a hundred of those, but Iâm n
Belmonk looked to his back and saw the fourth person in the room. It was a young man with a pristine look. Belmonk had never seen someone with such clear eyes, fair skin, and dark hair. For a second, he looked like a young male lion entering its maturity just now.âWho are you? How did you enter this place?â Belmonk couldnât even hear this man coming inside, so he could tell that this young man was not an ordinary person.âYou wouldnât understand even if I tell you,â Benjamin replied, with his hands in his pockets. âJust keep my warning in mind.âThe big bodyguard immediately stepped forward.Benjamin immediately took his hand out of his pocket and flicked his finger. Something flew past Belmonkâs face and hit the bodyguardâs forehead and made him crash back violently. The bodyguardâs eyes turned white.Belmonk couldnât believe his eyes. (A coin? He defeated Gray with a mere coin? Gray is a 10th dan black belt. There are only a few dozen people like him in the world. And he lost so he
In the Sterling villa, Selena was talking with someone on her mobile. âYes, Mr. Alan. Iâd really appreciate that.âShe ended the call and was smiling.âWas that a lawyer you were talking to?â Jacob asked her. Both of them were sitting opposite to each other on couches.âYeah. Alan Hector. Heâs been a judge for fourteen years,â Selena said. âAnd guess what? Heâs never once supported a husband in his judgment over the objection of the wife. Men lost their homes, businesses, and savings because of him.âJacob frowned. âW-Why are you talking to him now?ââHaha,â Selena chuckled. âDonât worry, Charlie. Iâm not going to divorce you. Iâm talking with Alan for our daughterâs sake.ââYou think sheâll divorce the delivery guy?â Jacob asked.âI donât think so. I know so,â Selena confidently said. âAnd when she does divorce him, Iâll make sure that not only Benjamin will get nothing, he would in return have to pay Rebecca alimony for the rest of his life.âJacob sighed and shook his head. âYou ar
âYouâre working in the sun. At least drink some water,â Rebecca said.Benjamin almost skidded into a halt. He was actually very thirsty because he didnât drink anything in nearly 20 hours, though he did bathe in the morning.âAhem,â Benjamin cleared his throat. âIâm not âthatâ thirsty, but because I brought your bag, I deserve to drink a little bit of cold water.â He grabbed the bottle. âYou wouldnât mind if I drink from this bottle, right?ââDrink all of it if you want. Eat the bottle, too, if you wish to. I donât care,â she replied while looking at her computer screen where she was drawing designs.Benjamin opened the lid and poured the contents in his mouth. He was taking a gulp, but straight away, his body reacted, and he was about to spit it out. But he quickly covered his mouth with one hand so that he wouldnât spill anything out.âMm?â Rebecca glanced at him. âWhatâs wrong?âBenjamin shook his head.âWere you thinking of some stupid joke while drinking?â she queried. He shook h
About an hour after Benjamin left for work, Elizabeth came down the stairs and greeted her mother-in-law who was applying raw, unpasteurized milk to her skin.âIâm going to the mayorâs party. Do you want me to bring anything for you?â she asked Selena. âWait,â she waved her hand before her nose. âWhatâs this nasty smell?ââMm? Itâs not from the milk,â Selena sniffed the air and then her gaze shifted toward the dustbin. âIt must be from the pizza box in the dustbin. I threw it there yesterday.ââWhat? Pizza is smelling this bad in just one day?â Elizabeth blurted. âThatâs horrible. Just what shop it was ordered from?â Her shoulders shivered. She called for the maids and told them to clear the dustbin right away. And then she went her way.âWhy is my daughter-in-law smart in useless things and stupid in everything else?â Selena wondered. âMost of the burgers and pizzas and donuts you buy outside will look the same even if you store them in a box for a few weeks. But this pizza started s
About forty minutes later, Benjamin finished washing the dishes as fast as he could and then quickly rushed out.âYesterday, Christopher yelled at me a lot, so I shouldnât give him any chance today,â Benjamin thought.Seeing him running out, Selena harrumphed in disgust. She had slapped him for a third time because he asked her if she wanted to be washed like the dishes. âHeâs not a mouse but rather a quiet cat thatâs keeping its claws hidden. Thatâs the feeling Iâm getting from him. And heâs shameless. Even after I slapped him, he didnât say a word. Heâs making it more difficult for me. If this keeps on, I feel like Iâm the one that degrade to get him out of this building.â She looked at this hand. âAfter all, I had to touch a toilet cleaner three times. Thatâs not good no matter how I look at it. Thereâs a beast hidden in me. I hope he wonât wake up that beast, or even I donât know what kind of things I will do to him.âMeanwhile, Benjamin quickly rushed out of the villa and was loo
The next morning.Selena had Shiron prepare a hot frying pan, and then she made Oliver touch that pan a dozen times. In doing so, his skin and flesh got burnt. He cried like a bitch. He had told Selena that the dogs ate the drugs but for some reason, they didnât attack Benjamin.Obviously, Selena didnât believe his story and wanted him to give her the money back. He asked her for a monthâs time, to which she agreed, but she didnât let him get away with just that. She made sure to teach him a lesson so that he wouldnât ever take her words for granted again. At the breakfast table, Selena saw that Benjamin was standing behind Rebecca. âYou look fine. Did you eat something while I wasnât watching?ââI just washed my face, Mother-in-law,â Benjamin explained himself. âThatâs why I probably look okay, but Iâm actually hungry.ââHmph, if you were really hungry, you should have secretly eaten some dog food,â Elizabeth said. âNo one would have cared.ââPfft,â Dorothy burst into laughter. Lisa
Rebecca and Benjamin reached the villa.Benjamin noticed only now that the broken car window was replaced with a new one. Rebecca was very good when it came to maintenance, so the car looked like a new one even though it was more than a four year old car.Rebecca was the first to enter the villa.Benjamin saw Selena coming down the stairs. (This woman⊠is she not busy with anything else? How does she exactly come at the right time?)âHow much did you earn today?â Selena asked him aloud while Rebecca was still around so that she could also hear and see everything.âU-Um, today was a bad day,â Benjamin said. âI didnât earn much.â He took out the money from his pocket and put it in her hand.âMm?â Selena saw the single note and frowned. âOne dollar?â she briefly glanced at her daughter. âAre you seeing this Rebecca? He earned one freaking dollar after working for eight hours. This has gotta be the biggest achievement I have witnessed in a long while.â She crumpled the dollar bill and acc
Rebecca sat down and leaned her head onto her hand as she kept staring at the pizza boxes. She looked angry.âIâve always refused to eat food that others give me. They think of me as being arrogant and what not. If I offer them pizzas now, what will they think of me?â she kept shaking her head. These boxes were too big to be thrown in the dustbin, and she didnât want to carry them out of her room, either. She pressed a button attached to the table. And the alarm outside her cabin rang and glowed. The peon heard that and came to her room.âThrow these boxes in the dustbin,â she told him without even looking at him.âMaâam, they're worth over 200 dollars,â he said. âAre you sure you want to throw them away?âRebecca frowned. A part of her conscience was hurting her mind. Benjamin left these here, so is it right to just throw them away? âYou know what? Just distribute slices of those to the staff, but donât tell anyone that they are from me.ââOkay, maâam,â the peon quickly distributed t

This is a very good book. The updates are not consistent. Maybe the author should concentrate on one or two stories at a time instead of updating the six unfinished books. As an active reader, this is frustrating, and it almost makes you want to stop reading.
