"Madam Casper?!"

"Oh shit, Grandma."

Alves cussed out loudly. At first he had no idea why. He really couldn't tell why he was feeling so jumpy as the voice came. He didn't know how to take this or how to react to it. But he was starting to get ideas.

"Grandma? What do you mean Grandma? Or did you mean to say Grandpa?"

That was Mia trying so hard not to get confused. Alves rolled off the bed, hardly answering her question.

The knock had come from the door which led to the other parts of the tower, so Alves thought that he had a choice.

"Let's go. You said you were on your way."

Alves walked briskly to Mia and grabbed her by the wrist. He wanted to lead her towards the door which led to the hanger. That was the best escape route she could ever take.
