Turning of events part two. The villian I never was

Angrily, Vanessa sent Benjamin outside the cold breeze of the ocean and with the help of her people, she started forming ropes around the beast that took her mother on a rock.

Vanessa slammed the heavy ropes tight around Benjamin's wrists, her face contorted in fury. He had brought himself to this state, he had invoked the deadliest predators of the sea. Vanessa watched with glee as her army of Sirens surged forth, encircling around them with their powerful tails.

The first thing Benjamin saw as he woke from the blackness was the smiling, yet agonizing face of Vanessa.

His eyes flickered open again to the hushed murmurings of the sea. His head ached as he registered the sight around him. At once beautiful and terrifying, their dark tails were adorned in scales that shone like polished daggers. Enormous creatures towered above him, their long tails coiled as they bowed in supplication to the menacing Vanessa.

He looks at the rest of them, confused whether they were actually real or not, 'mermaid ? No. Mermaids don't look this deadly' His eyes made his thoughts uncertain of what he was witnessing, more than 50 of the same creatures were bowing at Vanessa.

"Who the hell are you guys?"

"You really shouldn't have done that, Benjamin," she sneered, drawing her sword. "We are the deadliest warriors of the sea, the - sirens. You always ask me this question whenever you see me and my people. Why don't you like the fact that we look just like mermaids? Or do we remind you of someone?" She said with her soft menacing words.

Benjamin tried to struggle, but the ropes strangled him, cutting into his hard green skin. He gritted his teeth, trying to make his peace with the world.

The Sirens looked on eagerly as Vanessa raised her weapon, intent on delivering the killing blow. But at the last moment, She lowered her sword and stepped closer to Benjamin, looking down at him with an unusual softness in her eyes.

"He was a friend once," she muttered, toying with the hilt of her sword. "My mother always wished you would protect me always. But...it was your carelessness that led us here. Do you understand, Benjamin?"

" Please let me go" he pleaded for the first time in his life, he needed to act wise.

"Please spare me"

Benjamin almost laughed, he was strong. He only needed to escape and then he would teach her some lessons. There was no way a siren queen could kill him right? He became unsure.

She came forward with tears on her cheeks but her lips soon curved into a smile instead.

'Just what in the world is she thinking? She is not going to kill me with that sword in her hands right?' Several thoughts appeared in his mind. "Benjamin, don't worry. I won't kill you now" she said with her voice.

Benjamin nodded, his heart racing. He didn't know what kind of mercy Vanessa was showing him, but he had no intention of sitting here waiting to find out.

With no other options in mind, Yelling was the only option left.

"Please, Vanessa, let me go," he begged, pleading with her to release him. But the Siren queen's eyes glazed over, and he realized that his words weren't helping.

He twisted and pulled at the ropes that bound him, but they were too tight, helpless, and unsure if he would survive. In a final desperate plea, he shouted out at Vanessa "Your mother said I should protect you at all costs. It was her final wish before she died." For a fleeting moment, her eyes widened with shock. This boy he knew hasn't changed. He kept on escalating her pain, constantly reminding her about her mother.

Benjamin was busy with his own thoughts but suddenly the sight of a large beast stood out of all the other creatures. It was moving forward as if it was floating on the water. Within a blink of his eye, the beast was already nearing.

"I didn't kill your mother. Vanessa this is madness. Don't let me die this way. My soul will never rest unless I discover all the answers to my questions, I need to find out myself. I don't remember my Parents please it will kill me if I don't." He went on and on pleading.

But the creature was getting closer.

Without another thought, Benjamin lunged forward, his body screaming with pain as he tore free from the ropes that held him captive. The Sirens howled in anger, their tails thrashing as they surged forward to recapture him.

Benjamin's heart raced as he bolted across the tumultuous, inky waters. He had angered the Siren queen beyond measure, and he didn't know if he had what it would take to outpace their fury. He pushed on, his heart hammering as he struggled against the tides.

The shore grew closer, and Benjamin's heart pounded with hope. But as he staggered onto the beach, a sinister cackling echoed in the distance. He knew without a doubt that Vanessa and her Sirens would not release him so easily. He spun around, scanning the island for any sign of their approach, praying for even the slightest chance of survival. His future hung in a precarious balance, and he knew that the only thing that could save him was his own wit and strength.

Your Highness, If you don't kill him. I am afraid our kind can't survive as long as he lives." The General reasoned.

"Yes of course." Vanessa responded but deep down she wished she just stopped this but she had gone far enough and there was no stopping. She noticed Benjamin moving forward towards the island with his mess up body. instantly Vanessa threw herself through the thunderous cacophony of the oceans waves then sped like a dolphin towards him.

Through the hazy fog, the sound of an approaching boat grew louder. With a flicker of desperation, Benjamin stumbled forwards, his aching limbs carrying him as fast as they could. He gritted his teeth - this was it, his last chance at survival.

"My queen Get away from the path.!!" The General yells as he notices their new queen had been moving exactly where the boat was coming at. But Vanessa was too blind with hatred that she yanked herself at Benjamin then with her strength she held him tight

as the boat bore down on both of them, a looming apparition on the horizon. Benjamin and Vanessa braced themselves, waiting as the speeding boat inched closer and closer. With a sickening jolt, Benjamin and Vanessa crashed down onto the deck of the vessel.
