Humiliate The Poor Man

David looked at his wife to see if she had woken up from the conversation on the phone or heard the conversation at least. However, judging from her calm breathing, his wife was not at all disturbed and was fast asleep.

David lay back down with his back to his wife after putting his cell phone back on the nightstand. It was the first time he'd gotten the phone again in a long time. How long had it been since he left for some reason? Five years already? David sighed. Don't want to think about it first and then fall asleep.

In the morning, David checked his cell phone. There was joy when he saw the message. Finally, someone rented back his services. But his smile only lasted a moment. Those who send messages and hire his services are actually his loyal customers. David should be happy, but the fact that his loyal customers regularly hire his services is just to belittle him. He was someone who liked his wife first. And maybe still today.

"That's enough. The important thing is that I will get money to buy necessities in this house.” David immediately took a shower. His wife was no longer in bed. Seems to have gotten up and gone to the dining table. David rushed.

At the dining table, there is already the mother-in-law and his wife.

"Tsk! What's the matter of being so tidy? At least your activity is just chill anymore. You lazy person."

David ignored that and sat down in a chair. "Someone hired my services. I will buy the food needs later when I get home," said David. Hoping to say that he would be at least a little appreciated.

"Hmm." The response given by the wife was just that.

“Huh, the money you make from your work is only a small amount. What needs do you mean?”

Again, David ignored it. He ate breakfast made by his mother-in-law.

"Who hired you?" the wife asked with eleven raised eyebrows.

David looked at his wife. It was silent for a moment before answering a few seconds later. "Jack."

"Oh, Jack?" David could see a small smile forming on that pretty face even though Lily tried to hide it.

"Jack? Isn't he your ex-boyfriend, Lily?"

Lily looked at her mother and then nodded without hesitation. Not concerned with David's feelings in the slightest.

"Hmm," answered Lily.

David's gaze shifted to his mother-in-law when the woman said something that hurt him. "Why don't you try to get close to him again? I think he still wants to be close to you, Lily. Looks like he'll be more useful than this husband of yours."

Tak!

David put the glass of drinking water on the table with a bang enough to make the two women stare at him. One with a confused look and the other with a cynical look.

"Huh! No need to look sour like that! What I said is true!”

David stood up. "I'm leaving now," he said. Then immediately rushed after taking all the equipment he needed.

Srett…

Srett…

Srett…

David vigorously scrubbed the toilet porcelain. The hands that had been used with rubber gloves moved flexibly to clean the porcelain surface until clean, after previously applying some chemicals to make the work easier. Sweat dripped down his forehead and the philtrum. His gaze was focused. He has been working as a home-to-home cleaning service for almost five years already. A job that many people despise. Not infrequently, there are even customers who underestimate him. Staring at him with a look of disdain or if not giving him a reward for his services in a dishonorable way. Throw it on the floor and then step on it. David could do nothing but take the money that had been stepped on until it was a little dirty and damaged.

"Hahh..." David took a deep breath. He finally finished. He immediately cleaned up his equipment.

David could see Jack struggling with his laptop. Seems like he's doing a job.

"I've finished everything," said David from a meter away from Jack's position. Jack glanced at him, then purposely covered his nose.

"Tsk. Don't get too close. You stink. Three meters away from me," said Jack arbitrarily with a condescending look. David was used to this treatment by Jack. But he had to be patient. David didn't want to make a mess. Especially if he has to give up his wages after cleaning the men's toilet for hours just because of unnecessary fights.

"Huh." Jack snorted. He wanted to make David angry. There was a certain satisfaction in his chest by doing that. Condescending this man is a hobby for him. The reason he regularly hires David's services to clean his house is that he likes to humiliate David. Moreover, David never fought him. This man is really weak. He deserves to be humiliated like this.

"I've done my job. Now is the time for you to pay for my services," said David. He wanted to get out of here in a hurry.

Jack snorted. He stood up and took out a few dollars from his wallet. "Tch! This!" Then he threw it in David's face until the money scattered and fell. David closed his eyes. While Jack smirked in satisfaction.

"Why? Still not enough? Oh, yes. I forgot you are so poor! You don't know if Lily always complains about you? What kind of man are you? You can't just make your wife happy!" David was still trying to calm down.

'Chill, you can't get carried away with anger.'

TAP!

Jack threw money again at David's face. "Because I'm kind. I'll give you a bonus. Take that!" he said in a high-pitched voice. David stared at the money strewn on the floor nearby. He crouched down to pick up the pile of money. It didn't matter how Jack looked at him.

Step. Step. Step.

David could see the shiny black shoes that Jack was wearing were already in front of him. He looks upward to see a Jack.

“Kiss my shoes. Then I will give you a lot of tips," he said so easily and with a small grin. David was of course surprised to hear Jack's words.

"What? Why are you looking at me like that? David, did you forget?” Jack raised an eyebrow.

"What do you mean? What did I forget?” asked David, not understanding.

"Wow, you really are a bad husband. Today is your wife's birthday!"

Ah! David forgot! What date is it now? Is it really his wife's birthday?

“I'm sure you don't have the money to make your wife happy on her birthday. So I want to be kind to you. Kiss my shoes, and I'll give you lots of tips. How is it? A very attractive offer, isn't it, David?” Jack looked at David deeply, not forgetting that grin. He was sure that David would not refuse his offer.

“Okay,” David finally agreed. Making the grin look wider on Jack's face. He felt very satisfied to be able to humiliate David like this.
