Chapter 19 - The lady in the hotel

Despite his early preparations, Oscar was asked to wait for over an hour before leaving the apartment. The crew had set up a bunch of security protocols to make sure he wasn't followed, as well as to keep no one outside the Evermore Conglomerate from knowing where he was.

Oscar used the time to sign a few documents after reviewing them; this document was to be sent over to the Adkins as a warning, or rather a strike before the flames. Oscar wanted them to feel the same fear they made him feel, the hopelessness that comes with looking up to a man in a higher position and getting disgraced.

Once his electronic signature was obtained, he sent the documents back to Kevin, who was responsible for ensuring they went through the proper channels and were delivered to the Adkins. Although Oscar hadn't told him anything, Kevin knew he had unsettled scores with the Adkins and only did as he was told.
