"I hope Shawn is okay" Jenny whimpered sitting on a chair in the waiting room together with Emerald and Colin

Eric had left for George's office to break the news about the head maid being the culprit for the food poisoning

"I am sure he will be fine. The wound is deep but thank goodness it was his thigh" Emerald patted her shoulder

"He won't be amputated, right?" Jenny panicked

"No way" Emerald forced a smile.

All through, she was forcing a smile and trying to calm Jenny down but deep down in her, she wasn't okay too

She might have rejected Shawn so many times and thought of him as a disturbance but still they are close friends

If anything perhaps happens to Shawn, she is going to hate herself for life.

Anita walked out of the ward and heaved a sigh of relief

On seeing her step out, They all rushed to her with a worried look

"How is he?" Colin asked

"Thankfully, he is okay but he won't be able to walk for at least a week, you know why" Anita explained

"Alright. Can we check on him
