CHAPTER 5: UNEXPECTED REVELATION

The sudden loud bang on the door startled Jake, who was seated in the living room with Hannah, they both exchanged confused stares.

After a few seconds, another loud bang erupted the apartment, Hannah quickly jerked up on her feet with a confused and scared expression on her face same as Jake's, who was still seated and appeared frozen for a few seconds,

"Are you expecting anyone?" He asked with a hushed tone,

"No, I'm not," Hannah quickly replied, almost in a whisper,

"Okay, get your phone and stay behind me, if anything happens, you call 911," Jake told as he slowly stood up and headed to the door while Hannah quickly ran to her room to grab her phone.

Jake took several deep breaths and after a final glance at Hannah behind him who seemed like she was shivering in fear, Jake flung the door open, his eyes rested on a man in black suits with an intimidating expression on his face.

"Miss Hannah Anderson?" The man quickly called before Jake could utter any word.

Hannah felt her body instantly run cold as she heard her name being called, a chilling sensation crept up her spine.

"Who are you?" Jake finally got the chance to ask.

The man gave a little sly smile.

"Is Miss Hannah Anderson here?" The man asked again with a low condensing tone, shrugging off Jake's question.

Hannah swallowed hard before then showing herself to the man,

"I'm Hannah Anderson, is there anything you need help with?" She asked with a shaky voice.

The man gave Jake a side look before turning to Hannah, he feigned a smile as he stretched a hand out to her.

"You can call me Mr Ace,"

"O..Okay..Mr Ace. Wh..what can I do for you?" Hannah asked with a shaky voice, still feeling a little bit intimidated by the man. She stole a quick glance at Jake, who just stood there,feeling useless.

"Mr Sebastian Everhart, who is a V.V.I.P guest at the Luxe Hotel gave me this address so I can get his stuffs," Mr Ace explained,

Jake and Hannah both exchanged confused stares.

"Wha..what are you talking about?" Hannah asked as he got closer to the man, she was no longer intimidated by him but now intimidated at the mention of Sebastian as some kind of a V.V.I.P.

"How do you even know Sebastian?" Jake chipped in with his own question.

"As I said earlier, Mr Sebastian Everhart is a V.V.I.P guest at the Luxe Hotel," Mr Ace repeated, he sounded like he was losing his patience.

"Luxe Hote?! The very big and luxurious hotel that only Elites in the city of Cedarville uses!! What is a loser like Sebastian doing there?!" Jake questioned in a loud tone, his face wearing a completely stunned expression.

Mr Ace sighed out a bit loudly.

"I'm so sorry, come in," Hannah said as she invited him in, she was still trying to wrap her head around what was happening.

"Where are his things?" Mr Ace asked,

"Um.. right there," she pointed to a secluded corner in the living room.

After Sebastian had left, she had gathered his stuff and put them there, just in case he came back for it and she had planned to burn them if he didn't.

But she never expected someone else to show up for him and talk about him being a V.V.I.P guest of the very luxurious and Elite only Luxe hotel.

"What's up with that loser?" Jake asked as he moved closer to where Hannah stood.

She slowly looked up at him, irritated by his question, but that didn't stop Jake from talking more, " how come he is suddenly a V.V.I.P guest at The Luxe Hotel?" he continued.

"Did he rob a bank or something?" Jake went on,

"Will you please just stop talking, Jake! and let me think!" Hannah snapped in a loud and annoyed tone.

Jake was obviously appalled by Hannah's sudden outburst.

"What are you trying to do Hannah?" Jake asked

"What am i trying to do?" She replied back with a question,

"Don't play pretend. It's obvious you are thinking about that loser right now,"

Hannah just stared, without saying anything.

She couldn't deny it because it was true.

And she couldn't stop pondering on so many questions, how was Sebastian now a V.V.I.P at The Luxe Hotel?

Where did he even get the money to go to such an expensive place that was only meant for Elites?

And why was this man addressing him as Mr Sebastian Everhart, like he had always been some kind of an Elite or a big shot?!

"Hannah?" Jake called ,but it fell on deaf ears as Hannah was still lost in the chaos of her thought.

she slowly looked up and stared at Mr Ace as he was moving Sebastian's stuff outside to his car.

She made to walk over to Mr Ace but Jake quickly grasped her by the arm.

"Where are you going?" He asked,

Hannah sighed out, Exhaustedly.

She brushed her hair back with her hand,

"Please go home Jake, I need a break," Hannah said as she pushed Jake's hand off her arm.

Jake just stood in shock and watched her go.

Hannah quickly rushed over to Mr Ace, who was done organizing Sebastian's stuff in the boots and was about to get into his car.

"Mr Ace!" she called as she briskly walked over to him.

"Miss Hannah Anderson, what can I do for you?" He asked,

"Um..I just wanted to get some information from you about Sebastian," Hannah uttered,

"Can you tell me his room number in the hotel?" Hannah added,

"I'm sorry, but I'm not allowed to disclose such confidential information about guests in the hotel,"

"Well, I'm his girlfriend. So it's totally fine, you can tell me," Hannah pressed on without shame.

"Very well then, you can just call him and ask, as his girlfriend, you must have his number," Mr Ace said and quickly got into his car before Hannah could utter any more words.

And then he drove off.

"Hey!" Jake called behind Hannah, he was fully dressed up like he was leaving.

"Uhh," Hannah groaned out loudly as she saw him.

"What do you want jake?" She asked, her voice devoured of even a little bit of emotion.

"Is this really how you want to treat me now?" Jake asked, it was clear from the look on his face that he felt hurt by Hannah's sudden change of attitude towards him.

But then what did he expect from someone who literally cheated on her boyfriend with him.

"I suddenly don't matter anymore just because of this sudden news about Sebastian, the same guy you cheated on, with me," Jake added,

Hannah groaned out loudly again, her head was in a complete chaos, with only thoughts of Sebastian pondering in it.

"I still love him,Okay. I love Sebastian," Hannah yelped out.
