Adam Smith
I left through the back door. A car was waiting right outside with its doors wide open. The occupants must have fled to save their necks, leaving the engine rumbling. I hopped in, worried.
This zombie thing had escalated all over the city. The car radio was blasting loudly, stating that everyone should stay indoors. I shut the doors and sped off, knocking down any zombie that stood in the way.
Driving with one hand, I fiddled with my pockets with the other, hoping to find my phone, but it dawned on me that I had left it in the drawer.
“Shit!” I swore, taking a quick turn and knocking down a fat zombie.
The car galloped over the zombie and stopped. I fiddled with the ignition keys, hoping to turn it on again—it was done for good.
I threw the door open and alighted. My place was not far from where I was, but zombies were everywhere, growling and ramming into buildings, seeking blood.
I drew the rifle and bolted through the street, ready to shoot anything that jumped at me. One of them staggered forward, eyes bloodshot, ready to grab and bite, but I shot it twice before crashing into it.
The blood from its fatal wound stained my clothes.
“Fuck!” I cursed the stench of the bloody zombie, then sprang to my feet and headed for another car.
It was better to navigate the city in a car than to risk running into aggressive zombies.
I spotted a black Nissan with the door open and the engine grumbling. But before I got to it, another zombie lunged at me. I emptied the magazine on it but missed every shot.
I ran fast, evading two more zombies, and finally hopped into the car and slammed the door. The zombies lunged, but the central lock saved my ass.
Now, I was safe, but all I could think of was Rosa. I sped off, knocking more zombies out of the way until I arrived at the building.
A half-hacked zombie was at the massive doorway, feeding on a dead hand.
I grabbed a bloodied baton and surged into the lift. The beep sounded, and it took me up.
As I arrived at the fifth floor, I bumped into a couple shouting at each other. I didn’t spare them a glance. The zombie thing had probably yet to come upstairs, but I couldn’t help praying that Rosa was home.
Finally, I stopped at my door. It wasn’t locked from the inside. Panic struck me like a curse, but as I pushed it open and stepped in, I heard the groaning of a man and the moaning of a woman.
Rosa!
She was probably fighting off a zombie.
I rushed into the room, ready to use the baton, but instead, I met a sight that crushed my resolve.
Rosa was naked, seated on a naked man’s thigh, riding him. I dropped the baton, shocked to the marrow, and just then, she stopped.
“Adam,” she scoffed. “What the heck are you doing here?”
I wanted to confront her, but as the man looked up, I lost my voice. It was my boss.
“Adam,” said my boss casually. “Come on, you have a lot of work to do in the office. You shouldn’t be home…”
“Shut the fuck up!” I screamed, unable to piece together what I had just seen.
Rosa crept off his thigh, sweating profusely. “Adam, I had to do this. For your sake.”
I wanted to retort, but she raised a hand, silencing me.
“You are so broke I have to fuck to get you a decent life, Adam. If I don’t fuck him, we’ll get thrown out by month-end. And how do you think we’ll have a decent wedding if I don’t suck some dick to raise money? Huh?” She wasn’t ashamed. Not one bit.
I glanced at the baton. It was my only way out of this mess, but Lord knows I can’t hurt my fiancé. I can’t hurt Rosa. Not now, not ever.
I looked once again at them and turned to leave, but just as I did, a male zombie lunged at me and knocked me down. Before I could push it off, it sank its teeth into my chest.
I punched aimlessly, looking toward the bed for help from Rosa and my boss, but they hugged each other in fear, until I pushed the zombie off me.
I rose, blood spewing from my chest, only to see Rosa and my boss fleeing to the other room, screaming as they shut the door. I raised a weak hand toward them, took one step, and dropped to the floor.
The room got fuggy, everywhere felt hot. Objects doubled in my eyes, my skin went numb, and then I blacked out.

RosaI don’t know James as a friendly person or a gentleman. He’s always posed hostility at me from the onset, and had always put his sister in between me and Adam because he wants their daydream of making the pair work out to come true. So, I was surprised to hear him say Adam asked him to bring me to the so-called bachelor’s party he attended without me.I nearly turned down his offer to take me there even though it came with Adam’s name, until I heard Maria was there too.Why would she be present at a party with Adam while I’m here languishing in an eerie quiet chamber looking for Adam?I followed James out of the chamber because I didn’t trust him enough to lead the way and have him walk behind me.He climbed down the stairs carefully while I followed, wondering why Adam would ever attend a bachelor’s party without taking me with him.Maybe leaving without taking me with him had become part of his self-discovery mission.James led the way throu

Chapter 0038
Maria I have a list of things I do when I kill a man.The first thing on the list is to wash my hands in the sink with strong detergent to get rid of the metallic stench of blood, then I would let out a sigh and pray for the soul of the deceased to find rest in hell. The last thing on the list was taking a long bath and vaping in the bathroom. I chose the strawberry-flavored vape from my drawer, walked into the bathroom and peeled off my clothes.I took a deep breath and let it out, then I crept into the bathtub and rested my head on the soft edge. I moved the vape to my lips and smiled as I reminisced about how I found and attacked the young man without him knowing his space had been breached.I chuckled at the look on his face the moment I shoved his dick inside me and rode him till he spewed his life into me. I have all the necessary antibiotics required for preventing infections after maki

Maria Talking of flipping the dice, I do that in ways unimaginable to anyone claiming expertise, because I don’t just flip the dice, I flip the table itself, and I watch it clash with a smirk. The young man that has been a good tool in the hands of Veronica Smith, Adam’s aunt, was not just in big trouble, he was at my mercy, and the bad thing is, I wasn’t even willing to spare any inch of his ass.To make it easy, I had knocked him out with the club I found in his room, and with the help of five faithful maids, I had his body dragged to the old dungeon house that now served as the recycle house, where rotting food and spoiled food are processed into pig meal for the pig farm. The machine down there is big enough to grind a grown man into meat paste. I had the maids strap him to a metal seat beside the pile of rotting onions waiting to be ground and mixed with pig meal. The rancid stench woke him.
