The morning started earlier than usual. The air around the Azure Cloud training grounds was filled with the sound of movement as disciples assembled in lines. “Ascendant Training Matrix Activated.” Objective: Increase combat adaptability through simulated battlefield conditioning. Estimated overall power gain: 40% within seven days.”

Kai studied the detailed description. The system projected data graphs showing the disciples’ current performance levels, weak points, and coordination flaws. It was more advanced than any training function he had seen before.

Ren nodded quickly. “Yes, Vice Leader.”

Reports from all divisions had arrived, and the reconstruction of Azure Cloud Sect was finally stable. Kai stood before the central table where maps and spirit jade tokens floated above the glowing formation screen. His expression was composed, but his eyes were sharp.“Vice Leader Kai,” a messenger bowed deeply before handing over a sealed letter with a silver emblem. “This message arrived from the Northern Alliance through a courier eagle. They request an immediate audience.”Kai took the letter and broke the seal. Inside was a neat script marked with the insignia of the Frost Valley Sect, a powerful but neutral force that had avoided all conflicts so far. He read through the contents carefully.“They propose an alliance,” Kai said quietly. “In exchange, they will supply high-grade resources—Frost Spirit Crystals and Silverwood Essence.”The elders around the table looked at each other with visible surprise.Elder Shen spoke first. “Frost Spirit Crystals are rare.
