Brig. Beauty’s breath came in with a sharp gasp as she held her phone and saw it was from the warlord.

She showed her phone screen to Margaret whose heart swung in slight relief that Achilles didn't die after all.

She struggled to pick up the call as it rang for over twenty seconds and disconnected.

Margaret flashed her a confused stare at why she didn't indulge the warlord. Barely five minutes ago, Rachael was yearning to hear from them, and when her phone finally rang, she developed cold feet about picking up.

Felix felt a flush of goosebumps on his shoulders. He thought he was clinically attentive to details, but his encounter with Victoria had shown how he needed to hone his skills in human psychology. For long, Victoria had kept her lips zipped on Eunice's secret about her involvement in Felix's covert mission, but an opportunity presented itself to have Mr. Hitler on her side, and she had to spill some words.“I'd advise you to keep playing according to the script.
