As soon as Selina was conscious enough to walk on her own, the group headed out into the demon-infested cavern. Nelson held his breath as the ‘King’ led his new ‘slaves’ to where they needed to be. At least, that was how it should have looked to the lower-ranked demons.

It all seemed fine at first. Most of them scurried away before they found the wrath of their leader, but others snarled and hissed at the group as though ready to challenge the command of rulership.

Teasel stayed hidden within Nelson’s satchel. He had been clingy towards him ever since the fight with the actual demon King had been over. Inleet was seething, but she played her part in acting as the submissive slave. The Goddess had Nelson’s old hooded cloak to keep her face hidden. He wasn’t sure it would be enough, but so far, so good.
