As Robin stepped out of the hotel, Mason was already waiting for him and he was ushered into the car.

“I found Carla’s location. She has been cooped up at her office since the early hours of today. She left her mansion, unusually early and I think that is suspicious.” Mason explained.

“Did you trace Cora’s whereabouts from the mansion?” Robin asked seriously.

“Yes. But it seems Cora just vanished into thin air. The CCTV cameras in the estate that night were all down. It seemed like a pre-planned attack. But it’s so high level.”

Just like he had thought, Carla couldn't implement such a kidnapping on this scale. But then, he didn't want to leave a stone unturned. He had to really confirm if she wasn't involved.

They proceeded to leave, however, the minute he settled, his phone rang.

It was Chairman Black.

As soon as the call connected, the old man spoke up hurriedly, “It's almost time for the meeting, aren't you coming?”
