Valeria slammed her shoulder into the metallic door for the twelfth time, her breath ragged, arms trembling with exhaustion.

“Faster, Anna! Push harder—he’s in there!” she shouted, voice cracking with a mix of desperation and fury.

Anna didn’t answer. She was beyond words, sweat dripping from her forehead as she swung a rusted pipe again and again against the welded seam. Every impact echoed through the corridor like a scream, but the damn door held tight, mocking their efforts.
