Chapter 11 Student Teacher v.s. Teacher Part 3 William still has friends??

All in the attempt to make him angry to either lash out or make his injury worse. Bickering would not rule the day, nor a small riot to make the situation worse.

"That is the end of this matter!" The Disciplinary Coordinator said sternly. "Calvin, go to medical and wait for your punishment." The sooner the man was away, the better to get a handle on the situation.

"All students should keep this in mind how things go," William walked away, shaking his head looking depressed. "The Akademy will not uphold Kingdom Law and get Justice for you if you are wronged. You have seen this for yourself this day."

"WILLIAM!!!" The Disciplinary Coordinator would not let this slide. "AS a student teacher, you should conduct yourself accordingly! DO not poison the Mind of the students!"

"It is only poison if it was lies, no?" William eyed the useless man down over his shoulder. He may be weaker than him, but at least he was honest. That was the image he tried to put in the students' mind, that they were not safe staying docile in the Akademy. "Even a beaten curtail dog can see what happened today."

"GRRRR!" Angered, the Disciplinary Coordinator was about to actually attack a student-teacher in public. He was stopped by his colleagues at the last minute. The looks of the student body showed him all he needed to see. The look of disgust shamed him. "I almost let myself give in. I hope the students can forgive me."

The students, of course, said nothing. Their view and opinion didn't matter. They knew that much. But inkling and doubt, the Akademy was not a great place festered in their minds just a little more now.

Going to collect the fees for violators of the Death Match, William had suprised the referees he did so knowing the rule. Especially when he demanded it is paid here and now to keep them from causing him trouble.

Quite a lot considering the teachers involved and their station.

Already coming under scrutiny and the watchful eyes of a few of the Teachers and Students who had pull, they made haste to payout. William netted a large profit that would be spent immediately to boost his strength and provide funds to get out of the Akademy quickly.

As of right now as he moved to go into town and make some purchases to speed up his Mana Growth, more little spies were reporting on him. Making note of every last move.

Spending every last bit of his proceeds to buy a few items he already had listed for helping him along for the Body and Mind.

A purchase of some old documents in a thrift shop helped out great so far. Not that he put all hope into it but once he returned to his room, high consumption and different ways to get stronger would be put into effect.

"There he goes." An Akademy student nudges another in the store. "I can't believe he is just shopping as if nothing happened."

"Yeah.. I would be running for the hills given the chance." His cohort observed William closely and couldn't help but frown at the difference in Cultivation Skill. "Even after everything that happened to that brain-dead bastard, he is better than regular students!"

"Well.. he is like a new person.. so why not make peace over what happened back then? I mean, he doesn't have his Noble Status anymore either." The student rather not causes problems and sought to remedy the situation before the other did something. 'Not like William came to collect anything after the incident. He should just let bygones be bygones.'

"Humph, I rather have payback. Just wait until he gets alone. I will confront him and see if he really is different than before!"

William heard bits and pieces while moving in the store. But most conversations caught his ear during this time. Only attacks and possible danger was worth a damn to consider.

The moment he finished there, he sped off to the Library to check a few more books and possibly run into the older Librarian to see if he knew anything about any portals or dig sites.

Luckily for William, the man was not around, and a few Library Aides actually needed help from William. Apparently, they were instructed to look out for him and ask questions on the low in regards to the Manual.

.

Back in the room-

.

After spending hours there at the Library, William left late but not a single ambush occurred. He did come across a single drunk that reeked of blood.

The man did not attack but radiated enough hostile intent it was safer to go down a different path.

Making it back to his room, William took a small bit of time to think about the situation while going over what he bought.

'I can't believe I didn't notice it before now.. there is a severe lack of meat for sale for regular people. Unless you want to waste the big funds, that is. Most haven't eaten anything besides this wild horse and rat-type creature in small pieces.' Reading over the books while working out, a plan was formed to get ahold of different meat. 'If I can keep hold of understanding how to prepare wild meat.. I should be golden.'

*Crack!* The few cracks in his bones devoured the red paste he had left over. Even diluting it in water didn't help much but his entire Body was bursting with healthy cells. Unfortunately, the vegetables he consumed were just not enough to improve his muscle tissue to a higher degree alone.

'Gonna have to do my Blood Energy like everyone else to get higher!' Using the Balanced Manual alongside the 36 Strikes Technique, several wooden swords flew around the room. The same as before the pain occurred but on a much smaller scale. 'Hmm?'

His Blood Energy circulated through his Body at a faster pace as the glyph on a wooden sword lit up. His understanding of Glyphs and Swords improved a little automatically. Enough that he could use 3 swords with Blood Energy.

"Grr!" The moment he did so, however, the other swords dropped when changing focus a little. "Just not at the point I can use the other two types in a mix with a 3rd body-based sword."

Stopping himself before he overdraft like before, William focused on just his Mental energies. His Mental Pool was increasing as he gathered more from the surroundings with the help of the items purchased.

A vein bulged on his forehead and down his neck in a pattern of a wild river. The mother of all headaches came and then went in less than a minute. Raw Mana coated his Body before it was gathered in a few spots within him and circulated.

Notifications started to go off from his computer. Remembering what happened last time, he made sure to buy something to help with that situation just a little. Low and behold, he had Cookies detected again.

Knowledge System: Mind Realm has upgraded from Gathering Rank V to Gathering Rank VII. 100 Gigabytes of storage added.

Knowledge System: Body Realm has upgraded from Gathering Rank III to Gathering Rank V. 10 Gigabytes obtained. Available Blood Mana has increased. Blood distribution has increased. Cookies detected that effect Bone Improvement.

'It was a good thing I was close to upgrading to the next rank.. the resources helped push me over and then some easier.' William reached over into his bag and pulled out a syringe while doing a handstand on one arm. 'I... really hope I don't miss.'

The handstand was mostly because of testing cross growth for muscles and to discover the difference further for a human body in this world and that of his own.

William was performing a Spinal Tap on himself. Everything read well so far. Also suggested it was the best way to do so. They called it something else or another but his thinking recognized it for what it was.

Knowledge System: External Hardware detected. Applying plugins...

"Grrr!" Gritting his teeth, he had to prevent himself from blacking out. His mind was a buzz as the program ran from his memory of what he just read on the matter and what he knew personally for Spinal Taps from a magazine and internet articles. "I do not recommend this for anyone!"

Hand locking up, a wave of Mental energy inside his body was guided along, dark black golden fluid from his L5 was extracted.

"Gotta hurry.." Not expecting it to take so much out of him, William barely had time to consume a bowl of grounded Willow Bark. "..bleagh!" It was cheaper then the version of Aspirin used here and contained a hell of a lot of "salicin" to help.

But it was also not as good as it was. William started to go into spasms as he started to foam at the mouth. The last sight he could make out was the notification of removal while failing the handstand.

Knowledge System: It is safe to remove External Hardware.

Outside his room, a female stood there getting ready to knock on his door. It was the 2nd seat member with a sword in her hand. After hearing what took place in detail in regard to the Deathmatch, she wanted to speak with him but also try to explain her side of what happened back then.

The door however looked unusually large to the young noble all of a sudden. Shoulders rising up in down in a small bit of anxiety in regards to her friend lately.

"What the hell am I doing?" Frustrated with herself, her head touched the door. The protection around it was nothing she couldn't get pass but would only make the situation worse if a misunderstanding took place. "If the others find out..."

Words were spoken low but someone heard them. Having stalked the 2nd seat for some time now.

"Find out.. you will have to kill them then." The 10th seat had followed the other to speak with about the Library and how to get the Manual. Not thinking this is where the 2nd seat was headed to in the end. "From your actions, I assume you haven't heard about William's ex-fiancee yet."

"Humph, what does that tart have to do with this?" The 2nd seat's entire demeanor changed in an instant. 'Did I hear the word ex-fiance?' A cold murderous look that made the 10th seat stop playing around in an instant and get serious. "You will tell me what you heard right?"

"Gulp.. of course. But it is better to show you instead." The two walked away, barely missing the wave of energy generated inside William's room past the defense. "She arrived at the Akademy with her new suitor."

The 10th seat felt fear creeping up. When it came to William, it was hard to tell what the other thought. The 2nd seat swore they were just the closest of friends and not lovers of any sort.

"I will kill the bitch!" A look of unbelievable rage fettered the young woman's face. "We are going to deal with her now!" The walk turned into a stride that left a burst of Black Red Mana in each step.

It was that of Mana made from the Soul of a person and more significant than all of theirs combined of the 12 Seats. But it was also tainted with a black substance that consumed parts of it. If William was awake, he would have seen the major increase to his CPU via Task Manager.

As well as the new subroutine running in his background.

Elsewhere in the tunnels-

.

Down below a Cultivator was fighting against a beast of deadly might. If not for his armor and skills, it would defintely win in the exchange. But with each cut and tear of the flesh, the air seemed to taste just a bit sweeter to him.

"Foul Beast!" With a slash that produce a wave of a 100 more, the foul beast slid across the ground into a wall. Semi rotted flesh tore open further dropping the corpse of a student out. "Hmm!"

Adjudicator Hareem's eyes narrowed looking at the clothes more than the body. Before he could dash to check it out, several more of the foul beasts could be heard howling.

They were much weaker but that did not mean he could risk getting surrounded. He needed to find a better way to fight them. Throwing a pink ball out of his pouch on the side, it was time for a Tactical Retreat!

*Splurt!* The pink ball exploded around the creature and spread like living foam.
