2022-02-09 23:58:42Just as Ronke and Hana got down to the grond, there was a brief moment as they paused to take in the airs of the Familiar Realm. For Ronke, this was a rather iconic moment, that is, to think that she would be able to come down to her home town after the long period of time had gone by.
It was indeed somthing for her, in the long run. After all, it had taken a lot of planning and some teamwork event to the cost of her losing her ambiton as a CFR squad Captain. There had been times when she ahd thought if it was all worth it but right now, with her feet on the home soil now, it was something which was remarkable.
Here was home, the end goal of everything which she had been seeking after. This was home and the goalw as evn in sight. She could save her people. that much was a given fact. Even though it did not seem rather to be likely at first but then, she could dare to hope.

No more did the noise of the crowd disturb the harmony of both Hadjans as they stood still, both of them staring at the ground. After Abiola dispersed the assembly, he had said a few parting words to the crew and then left, his head heavy in thoughts. The City was in mourning. Whether they blamed Ronke for bringing in Ascenders in or not, it did not change the fact that Ronke was gone. There was no way in the Seven Heavens that they were going to get her back. At least, not in the form she was, when she was alive. Ken and Spyder stood a while back, watching but not daring to say a thing. Life is not one thing that is set in stone. Our fate is not set in stone. One moment, we may think we have it all but then at that same moment, Life plays its expensive jokes at our expense. There and then, the life that thought was perfect immediately takes a sour turn, making for nightmares what once thought we had.
