The Mighty King

“Arise, the mighty king has arrived” the announcement made them all stand on their feet to welcome the mighty king, who just arrived to see Keiran.

“My lord, it is an honor to have you here” Dean Aldrich rushed to welcome him and he was gestured to a befitting seat that suited his status.

Other deans also moved forward to pay their homage.

“I'm surprised to see you here, my lord” Dean Aldrich asked, composing himself while the mighty king fixed his gaze on Keiran. “Is he the one with the highest level of energy?”

“Yes, my lord. I'm amazed to see the type of energy energy. The orb was broken due to the surge from his energy and the three deans are here for him” he explained. The mighty king, glared at Keiran one more time before voicing out. “he is your student, and you are in the right position to judge his energy level”

“My lord, his initial energy level was zero point five and he was expelled from the school with immediate effect because he was considered to be useless. He came back with his system activated to level SSS, which hasn't happened before. Hereby, making Aldrich lose the control over him” Maya explained but the Mighty king slammed the table, breaking it into pieces before speaking in annoyance “where are you manners?” Maya?”

“Don't you know for him to be expelled, he must have done something to wrong dean Aldrich and he decided to punish him to reflect on his mistakes”

“My lord, I did nothing wrong rather than having the lowest energy level and I begged for mercy but was shown none” Keiran explained himself.

“You don't speak when I talk, young man. You have a SSS energy level that doesn't give you any writing to speak when I speak. You still need a way to prove yourself worthy of the energy you possess, else you are still as powerless as you were-”

“But I didn't-” he tried to explain himself but was cut off.

“Shut up and apologize to your dean. I understand how he must have felt and the trauma you caused him. Apologize to him now and I'll show you mercy”

“I did nothing wrong to apologize. In fact, I'm the frustrated one here, that deserve an apology” Keiran insisted

“Is the mighty king not biased with his judgement?”

“I mean Keiran did nothing wrong and he insisted he apologized to the dean”

“Could he perhaps be jealous that he possesses level SS while Keiran possesses SSS level?”

“Keiran, for the last time. Knee and apologize for causing trouble and I'll show you mercy” he added

“Tell me, what is your offer?” Keiran asked

“I'll allow you to join my grandson, Wesley, in his training. You would both be trained by a top trainer and by doing that, you will have access to enter the military office anytime you like, with no discrimination”

“Train with Wesley and get a free ticket to enter the military office? Wow!”

“This is a life changing offer” the students murmurs.

“Keiran, you need to accept these offers. It is a once in a lifetime offer. I'm sure by doing that, your life will never remain the same” Selene said.

“Accepting this offer is cool but that will make him a slave to his grandson forever. I'll never have the chance to climb mountains, dive oceans as my freedom will be restricted forever” he thought.

“I'm sorry but I'll need to reject this offer. That isn't what I want for myself” he dropped the bombshell, shocking them all .

The mighty king's jaw dropped. Never has he imagined getting rejected by a college guy like Keiran.

“Have you gone nuts? How dare you reject his offer. Do you have another better option somewhere?” Miss Laura whispered to him but he paid no attention to her.

“His life, his decision, his choice. He isn't dumb, so he is free to do whatever things he wants. Don't forget he is no longer a student of your academy” Aria responded on his behalf.

“My lord, I apologized on behalf of my boyfriend. He isn't in his right stress right now as he has been overwhelmed by multiple offers. I'll suggest you give him a little time to give it a thought” Selene went on her knees to beg on Keiran's behalf.

The mighty king stared at her and asked “and you are?”

“Selene, his girlfriend”

“My ex-girlfriend”

The two responses came at the same time.

The mighty king grinned, then stood up from his seat.

He walked a bit closer to Selene and smiled for two seconds.

“You seemed smart and intelligent. What if I reward you with a position to be a subordinate of my grandson, Wesley?”

“Oh my goodness! Thank you, my lord. Thank you so much, I'm grateful. thank you, master Wesley” she kept bowing her head in appreciation.

“Marcus is now a loser. He just lost Selene again”

“Selene is lucky. How foolish of Keiran to reject such a life changing offer”

“Keiran Cross, that's your name right?” The mighty king faced Keiran who nodded in affirmation.

“What proof do you have that your energy level is real?”

“Real? Is there a fake energy level?” Keiran thought loudly.

“In this century, everything is possible, especially with your generation of students. I want you to prove to us that you are real and not a fake” he added, then going back to his seat, with his eyes shooting dagger at Keiran.

“I guess I've awake his rant by rejecting to be a puppet of his grandson or maybe he is finding it difficult to imagine me having high level of energy than him” he thought then say, “is the rainbow that circulated the entire sky not enough as evidence or the Olb that got broken due to the surge from my power?”

“What! How dare you question the mighty king?” Dean Aldrich became furious but Keiran moved no inch.

“I still want you to prove it” the mighty king said

“How?”

“Transform and I'll believe you?” He insisted.

“Transform? Now?” Keiran was shocked.
