Dixon took a step forward and said calmly. "If you need to ask for a favor, you should ask nicely without being arrogant. Didn't your father teach you that?"

"You!" Sonny was furious, but he didn't dare to retaliate. Because, his hand had already been broken by Dixon, he was afraid that Dixon would break his other hand.

Stevan frowned. He didn't expect that the husband he found for Diana would actually dare to slap Sonny in front of him.

"I haven't solved the previous problem with you!" Steven narrowed his eyes, and pointed at Dixon harshly. But, the moment he looked into Dixon's eyes, he felt like he had fallen thousands of feet into an abyss! It was as if he was looking at a horrible beast waiting to eat him with one bite!

Dixon said calmly. "It seems that you're not just here to ask Diana to return to the company. Instead, you're here to make trouble."

Steven was too lazy to talk to Dixon who he thought had a mental illness.

"Diana, Hamilton Group needs you, you have to come back." Stevem looked at Diana.

Diana didn't know how to respond, so Dixon spoke for her. "I will remind you one last time. When you ask for help, you should be kind without being arrogant."

Steven just looked at Dixon coldly. He didn't care about Dixon who was just a mentally disordered man.

Yoruna and William were dumbfounded as they witnessed this. Their homeless son-in-law had the courage to stand up to Steven.

"Diana, my dad gave you a chance, you better appreciate it!" Sonny said angrily.

Diana puffed out her chest and said firmly, "I don't care!"

"Wow, you dare to go against your uncle, Diana!" Steven said this while looking at them with a fake smile. He looked at William and shouted, "William, you have failed to educate your daughter!"

Then, Steven and his son left.

By this time, Yoruna and William were devastated and they were sad. Their daughter had lost her job, and the income for daily expenses would not be enough. William didn't have a job, while Yoruna was a housewife, and she took care of her husband everyday as well.

Diana looked at her parents, "Dad, Mom, don't worry, I'll find another job as soon as possible."

Yoruna looked at her daughter, her heart aching. The responsibility of taking care of the household had fallen on her shoulders. She had to look after William, and even if she wanted to help Diana, there wasn't much she could do.

Diana brought Dixon back to her room, she still couldn't believe Dixon's courage against Steven.

"Prepare yourself to sign that contract." Dixon suddenly said when they arrived at the room.

Diana was surprised.

"But, Uncle Steven is the only one following the project with the Moster Group, all the details have been agreed upon and they are just left with the formality of signing the contract. Anyone can go and sign it, so it doesn't have to be me."

"No, it doesn't. Only you can." Dixon said this very casually.

Diana frowned, she looked at Dixon with a suspicious look, because he seemed to know about this cooperation.

***

Steven and his son arrived home.

Sonny vented his anger by breaking everything around him. Then, he said, "Daddy, I'm going to kill Dixon! He has stepped on my pride!"

He had been slapped twice by Dixon. If this news got out and spread throughout Reddof city, he would be very embarrassed!

"Don't provoke him, because he has a mental illness. It's not considered a crime even if they commit murder." Steven snorted. He still thought Dixon was a crazy man.

Steven narrowed his eyes, then made a few phone calls for help to his connections.

He found someone who knew CEO Moster to help bridge this connection.

"Relax, Bory Group often works with Moster Group, the two CEOs of each company are very close. They are friends."

There was a price to pay for using this connection, but it was better than having to beg Diana.

Sonny felt relieved after hearing this.

"Daddy, after this project is over, I want to throw Diana and her family out of this city!" An evil idea flashed in Sonny's eyes

Steven's phone rang, someone was calling him. He picked up the phone and saw that it was a phone call from CEO Bory.

"CEO Bory, how is it? This problem is very easy for you to solve, isn't it?" Steven felt happy. He had guessed that CEO Bory could persuade CEO Moster to sign the contract.

"Steven, you have offended Paulo as CEO Moster, and you sent me to bear the brunt of his anger? Now my project with him has failed! Damn you!"

"Damn it! You deliberately set a trap for me, I'll remember this for the rest of my life!"

After CEO Bory finished his tirade, he quickly hung up the phone.

Steven was shocked and couldn't say anything more. There was nothing that could persuade CEO Moster.

"Daddy... do we really have to beg Diana?" Sonny said in panic. He swallowed with difficulty

The look on Steven's face turned unpleasant. He never thought that this problem would be so difficult. "What has Diana done to make CEO Moster so protective of her?"

Sonny's cell phone rang. His face grew grim when he saw that it was his grandfather calling.

"It's Grandpa." Sonny almost cried. He was most afraid of getting a call from his grandfather now. Because, now he was in charge of this project, so if anything went wrong, he was the first to be blamed.

"Answer!" Steven ordered.

Sonny had no choice but to answer the phone. The consequences of not answering his grandfather's phone would be bad.

"Grandpa..." Sonny greeted his grandfather.

"How's the project with the Moster Group going?" Harry asked immediately. He was most worried about this project. Because, this project is very important and the Hamilton family has invested a lot in it.

"Good, everything is going well." Sonny quickly lied.

"When CEO Moster has time to meet with you, meet him immediately to sign the contract," Harry reminded his grandson.

"Ok, Grandpa."

Harry then said, "You'd better pay close attention to this, we can't afford to lose this project. If you fail, then you will have to deal with me, Sonny!" Harry said. Then, he ended the call.

Sonny's palms were sweaty, and he was currently trembling with fear.

Sonny knew very well what kind of temperament his grandfather had. It was very cruel.

"Daddy, what should we do again?" Sonny was really going to cry.

That night, the house felt much quieter than usual. Yet it also felt more romantic. Dixon had just finished showering with Diana, both of them still warm and damp, their hair dripping with tiny beads of water, their skin feeling fresh. Dixon wore a towel wrapped around his waist, and Diana was covered with a thin towel that wrapped around her small figure. Diana looked at him with a soft smile, her cheeks blushing after the bath. Dixon leaned against the bathroom doorframe, watching Diana towel off her damp skin. Steam curled around her silhouette, softening the edges of her body in the golden light. She caught his gaze in the mirror, lips quirking. “Enjoying the view?” He crossed the room in two strides, fingers hooking into the edge of her towel. “Not yet.” With a slow tug, the fabric pooled at her feet. Diana shivered, not from cold, but from the way his eyes darkened as they traced her bare curves. Dixon’s palm slid up her waist, thumb brushing the undersid

For Dixon, every breath reminded him of the long nights when he trained under Master Takeda’s guidance. It reminded him of the secret missions he had completed and of the teacher who now lived only in memory. After the battle at Reddof Harbor, Dixon stood alone at the edge of the pier. The waves rolled slowly beneath him, as if trying to wash away the traces of blood left behind that night. Ren Jialong was gone. Dixon had won, yet no applause followed. Because this victory was too emotional for him. He had avenged the death of his fellow student, the one who murdered their master. But betrayal deserved to die and to become burning fire in hell. Dixon closed his eyes, letting the night wind touch his face. In that silence, he seemed to hear his master’s voice, always firm yet full of wisdom. “In every strike you release, make sure there is a reason.” “In every life you take, make sure there is responsibility.” Dixon opened his eyes. The sea before him felt vast, ye

  • 844-Towards THE END

Dixon clenched his fists, the veins in his arms tightening. “For six months I carried out that mission, tracing the southern plains, the west, even the borders of the northern lands. I returned to Master Takeda to report that I had failed.” His eyes dimmed. His voice turned bitter. “But when I came home, my master was already gone. He left no message. No trace. No one knew where he went," said Dixon. Ren grinned with cruel delight. Dixon lowered his head slightly, and for the first time since the fight began, his voice trembled. “Because I was searching for you, I lost my master,” Dixon said. The coastal wind swept across them, carrying the salty smell mixed with blood. “People said he was meditating in untouched mountains,” Dixon continued. “But I know that is not true. He would never leave without a reason. He would never leave without telling us.” He stared at Ren with eyes that almost burned. “I have searched for him until today. I even stationed my men in the

The Exalted One rose with an unsteady body, his breath ragged, yet his eyes still burned with fierce hatred. Without caring about his injured ribs, he rushed forward again, this time wilder, more desperate. He swung his right fist with full force, then leaped into a spinning kick from the side. Each strike made the wooden pier tremble. But all of that… Was still far too slow for Dixon. Dixon caught his wrist and twisted it slightly, just enough to break the Exalted One’s balance. A single knee strike from Dixon slammed into the Exalted One’s stomach. BUAGH! The man folded like paper, his body lifting from the impact before crashing hard onto the pier. Before he could even take a breath, Dixon was already above him. DUK! Dixon’s foot pressed against the Exalted One’s chest with a force strong enough to almost crack the wood beneath them. The Exalted One screamed, blood spraying from his mouth and staining the planks. Dixon looked down with a dark expression, one he had n

The Exalted One raised his hand as if he were about to remove his mask, and Dixon watched every movement without blinking. But in the next second… It was not the sound of mask clasps that echoed. It was the thud of the pier floor as the Exalted One shot forward, his body turning into a black blur that was almost invisible. In a single blink, he was already right in front of Dixon. The attack came like an arrow fired from one inch away, a straight punch aimed at Dixon’s heart, fast, aggressive, and without hesitation. For weeks, the Exalted One had vanished from the underground world. No news, no reports, not a single trace. Dixon knew he went to train, but he never expected it to be this extreme. Rumor had it that the Exalted One climbed the Northern Mountains, a place where only a few people could survive the freezing cold that could bite through bone. There he honed his skills until the cliff walls were covered with the marks of his fists. He returned with a single purpose:

Evan stood before the grand gate of the Romma family residence. The evening breeze drifted softly, yet his chest felt tight. After that humiliating incident, after witnessing with his own eyes how Dixon disgraced him without even trying, he finally understood one thing: opposing Dixon was not only foolish, it was suicide. From that day on, Evan decided to return home. Not to surrender, but to protect what he could still protect. The Romma family was startled when Evan came back without warning. He gave them a clear warning, “Never provoke Dixon, and never make him an enemy.” Evan’s serious face, once arrogant and full of confidence, now looked like someone who had just returned from a battlefield and realized how small he was in front of a far greater power. His family nodded, even if they did not fully understand. They obeyed him anyway. Evan had never looked that frightened before. *** Weeks passed. With no disturbances of any kind, life went smoothly. Hamilton Group, once
