Yesterday, he had to use basic human physics to fight. Today, he actually had real energy to use against his enemies. A dark excitement burned in his chest as he walked back into the light.

High above the roaring traffic of downtown Tuntadel City, the top-floor penthouse of the Windgate Luxury Tower sat in absolute, expensive silence.

The walls were made of thick, polished black marble, and the giant floor-to-ceiling windows looked down onto the sprawling city below like a king surveying his kingdom.

Inside the main living room, Leo Vance was pacing back and forth across a thick velvet rug, his face twisted in a mixture of deep humiliation and rage.

His right arm was wrapped tightly in a white medical sling, and his expensive clothes had been replaced by a silk robe.

Sitting on a massive leather sofa across from him was Matt Windgate.

Matt looked exactly as he did in Baron's memories—sharp, cold, and dripping with immense wealth.

He held a crystal glass of amber liquor in his hand, his dark eyes tracking his nephew’s frantic movements with a look of deep annoyance.

"Stop pacing, Leo. It makes you look weak," Matt said, his voice low and smooth like a snake sliding through grass.

"Uncle Matt, you don't understand!" Leo yelled, stopping in his tracks, his face turning bright red.

"He did it in front of the entire freshman class! A nobody! A broke, trashy scholarship rat from a garbage town named Baron Colgate! He broke my knee joint and put my arm in a sling with two moves! He made me eat mud, Uncle! Me! A Vance!"

Matt took a slow sip of his drink, his expression unchanging. "A Vance who got dropped by an ordinary kid with no background. You disgraced my sister’s name, Leo. If your father found out his son was beaten by a street rat at the school gates, he’d cut your allowance in half."

"That's why I came to you first!" Leo begged, rushing over and dropping to his knees near the sofa. "Please, Uncle Matt. You have to destroy him. I want him broken. I want him crying on the floor, begging me for mercy before he gets thrown out of the city!"

Matt's eyes turned incredibly cold. He set his crystal glass down on the marble table with a sharp clink. He didn't care about Leo's pride, but he cared about the Windgate reputation.

Nobody touched a member of his bloodline without paying in blood.

"A small-town rat thinks he can play hero in my city," Matt murmured, a cruel smirk appearing on his lips. "Amusing."

Matt reached into his suit jacket, pulled out a sleek black smartphone, and tapped a single speed-dial button. He put it to his ear, waiting for two seconds.

"Marcus," Matt spoke into the phone, his voice flat and commanding. "Are you still the head dean of student affairs at the university?"

A nervous, trembling voice immediately answered from the speaker. "Y-Yes, Mr. Windgate! Of course! The Windgate Group's annual donation to the campus is the only reason my department even exists. How can I help you today, sir?"

"There is a freshman named Baron Colgate," Matt said, his eyes locking onto Leo’s eager face. "He put my nephew in the hospital today. I want him gone. But I don't want a simple expulsion. I want him ruined."

Dean Marcus cleared his throat nervously over the line. "Ruined, sir? I... I can handle that. Tomorrow morning, before his first lecture, I can have my security staff plant a stolen set of high-end university lab equipment inside his dorm locker. We’ll call the city police, frame him for grand theft, and ensure he gets a permanent criminal record before we officially kick him out. He’ll never be allowed to step foot into another school or corporate job in this country."

"Good. Do it quietly," Matt said.

"Wait, Uncle Matt!" Leo interrupted frantically, pointing to his sling. "That's not enough! The framing handles his future, but what about his bones? He broke my body! I want his arms smashed!"

Matt raised a single finger, silencing his nephew instantly. He spoke back into the phone. "Marcus, once the police report is filed and he is escorted off the campus gates, let me know. I will handle the rest outside the school walls."

"Understood, Mr. Windgate. Consider it done," the dean said before hanging up.

Matt set his phone down and turned his head toward the shadowy corner of the luxurious penthouse room. "Chen. Step out."

From the dark shadows near the hallway, a massive man stepped into the light.

He was dressed in a simple, tight black martial arts uniform. His knuckles were completely flat, covered in thick, rough calluses from decades of punching iron plates.

The air around him felt heavy and dangerous—he was an Intermediate Stage Martial Artist, a premier fighter from the capital’s most brutal underground club.

"Mr. Windgate," Iron Fist Chen said, bowing his head slightly.

"You heard the script, Chen," Matt said, his voice completely indifferent as he picked his glass back up.

"Tomorrow afternoon, after the school throws that trash out of the gates, find him in the alleyway outside the campus. I don't want him dead. Just break both of his legs and smash his right hand.

Make sure he spends the rest of his young life rolling around in a wheelchair."

Chen smiled, revealing a row of sharp teeth. "A small-town boy who doesn't know kung fu? It will take me less than three seconds, sir. His bones will snap like dry twigs."

Leo Vance let out a wild, ecstatic laugh, his eyes gleaming with pure, sadistic joy. "Yes! Break him! Let's see if he can still look at me with those creepy, arrogant eyes when he's crawling on the pavement!"

Matt Windgate turned his leather chair around, staring back out the giant glass window at the shining lights of Tuntadel City. To a billionaire tycoon like him, a freshman student was less than an ant.

He didn't know that the "nobody rat" he was planning to destroy was an ancient cosmic deity who had just opened his first meridian line, waiting for the serpents to crawl out of their hole.

Just wait for them to start arguing over the map, Caleb told himself, his heart hammering against his ribs. When everyone looks at Baron, I'll drop the tracker under the edge of the table."Alright, everyone listen up," Baron began, leaning both hands on the table. "Leo Vance is backing us into a corner. We need a clear offensive strategy against his family before they launch another attack on this campus.""We should strike his eastern supply route first," Mike suggested, tapping a point on the map. The morning alarm blared across every dormitory hall in Tuntadel University. Heavy footsteps echoed down the corridors as hundreds of frightened students poured out of their rooms, heading toward the grand auditorium. Rumors of the Rockwood Road attack, dark beast sightings, and rogue mercenaries had completely paralyzed the campus with fear. Inside the sprawling auditorium, the tension was thick enough to choke on. Baron walked down the central aisle, flanked by Mike, Ayomide, Knox, Caleb, John, Fred, Bolton, Felicia, and Mrs. Susan. The ten Tradition members and their guest took their seats near the front row, scanning the gathering crowd nervously as Juliana. "Why call a sudden campus assembly now?" Mike whispered, leaning close to Baron, his hand resting near his spear holster. "Did the Vance family launch another attack?" "I don't think so," Baron said, his eyes fixed on the stage ahead. "If there was an active breach, Dean Lashley wouldn't gather every student into one enclos

Knox pulled on his jacket, zipping it up to his chin before checking his backpack for his lecture notes. He turned toward the small bed in the corner, where Caleb sat wrapped in a blanket, looking exhausted and quiet."I'm heading out for morning lectures now, Caleb," Knox said softly, stepping closer to the bed. "Listen to me carefully. Stay inside this room. Keep the door locked, keep the blinds down, and don't open for anyone unless it's me or Baron."Caleb looked up, nodding eagerly with wide, innocent eyes. "I understand, Knox. I won't move an inch. I know how dangerous it is for me to be seen on campus.""Good," Knox said, putting a hand on his cousin's shoulder. "Baron and Dean Lashley are working on keeping you safe.
