Chapter 6

Desmond, who realised he did not have any clothes and the clothes he wore were also gifts from the hotel, headed to a shopping centre in Aradonia with his car.

Everyone who knew Desmond's car stared in awe of the car, as it was the only car Desmond had in the city of Aradonia.

"System, guide me to buy good quality clothes!" ordered Desmond as his car pulled into the shopping centre's parking lot.

[Yes, Mr Emmanuel]

Desmond smiles, with the Super Crazy System telling him everything he doesn't know; it will be easier to buy quality goods before he starts distinguishing the best items with his evolved mind.

Desmond parked his car; he put his files in the car without worrying about losing them because he was sure that such a large shopping centre had good security.

Desmond got out of the car and walked straight into the shopping centre.

So many people are walking around, and the expensive items in the shops add to the glamour of the shopping centre.

Desmond smiled, adjusted his suit and hurried to find something to wear.

[Sir, the nine o'clock clothes shop sells quality clothes]

The system quickly notifies Desmond; of course, Desmond immediately complies because, for now, he does not know what quality goods are; maybe by seeing it, he will know what they are.

It seemed that the clothing store was quiet, unlike other clothing stores, which surprised Desmond.

"System, are you sure this is a good store?" asked Desmond in his mind.

[Of course, sir, you can trust me; all the items there are original]

The system speaks straightforwardly in Desmond's mind, so Desmond believes it.

"Welcome, sir, if I may know what kind of clothes you are looking for?" asked the shop assistant in a friendly and excited manner.

"Get me five casual outfits, suits and trendy clothes too!" Desmond ordered without hesitation.

The waitress was ready for Desmond's request because she hadn't served a single person since morning, but Desmond came to buy clothes, leaving her stunned.

Desmond frowned, "Why are you staring? Do I want to be served or not?!" Desmond scolded the waiter.

"Uh, sorry, sir! I'll find it for you right away; please wait a moment," the waiter pointed to a chair for Desmond, and he hurried to find the clothes Desmond had requested.

Desmond waited leisurely, watching people pass by while playing with their mobile phones. Desmond remembered that he didn't have a mobile phone either.

"I'd better find a mobile phone shop after this,"  she muttered softly.

After a while of waiting, the waiter hurriedly approached Desmond with all the clothes of his choice, of course according to Desmond's wishes.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, these are the clothes you asked for, these clothes..."

"I paid for everything; please wrap it up quickly,"  The waiter had not finished speaking, so Desmond cut him off and immediately gave him his Black Card.

The waiter was stunned again as he stared at the Black Card; this was the first time he had served a no-nonsense rich man who didn't ask for much like Desmond.

"Why are you staring again? Let's wrap it up quickly!" reprimanded Desmond, who looked more stern this time.

"O-okay, sir!" She promptly and hurriedly took care of the payment and wrapped up all of Desmond's purchases.

Desmond took his Black Card back, then he took all the groceries he had bought and left straight away.

The waiter was truly amazed by Desmond, "I wish I knew him, a man who doesn't seem to calculate at all,"  he said while smiling.

The shop was deserted because it looked smaller than other clothing shops, and there was only one waiter, which is why the rich people thought it was selling imitation goods.

Unlike Desmond, who owns the System, he can easily get high-quality goods from the shop.

Desmond continued shopping, looking for a mobile phone that now suited him.

"System, do you have any recommendations for a good mobile phone?"

[Sir, basically all mobile phones have their advantages and disadvantages; you just pick a common brand that you like]

Desmond nodded in understanding, "Miss, I want the latest iPhone. Is it here?"

Desmond didn't know any mobile phones, but as he walked, he overheard someone saying that the latest iPhone was a phone whose specs beat the previous edition of the iPhone, which was the best mobile phone.

Suddenly, everyone there turned to Desmond; they all wanted to see which rich person would buy the latest mobile phone that cost twice as much as the previous iPhone series.

"Sir, are you serious? The latest iPhone costs twice as much as the previous one," the waiter reminded.

Desmond frowned, "Are you forbidding me to buy that mobile phone, or do you think I can't pay for it?"

Desmond took out his Black Card and placed it on the shop window, "Get me that mobile phone."

Desmond doesn't want to be underestimated by anyone; now he has money he can't possibly spend, so he thinks this is the right time to show his true colours.

"I'm sorry, sir, I'll get it," said the waiter politely.

The waiter rushed to get the latest mobile phone, which cost five thousand dollars.

"Here, sir, is your mobile phone,"  the waiter said politely.

As Desmond flipped through the mobile phone, he asked, "Can you activate the card too?"

"Of course, I can, sir; which number would you like? Please choose."

Desmond chose a good number with the same five digits, and the waiter secretly memorised Desmond's number. After he finished activating the number, the mobile phone was given to Desmond after Desmond paid.

"Thank you, sir, please come back," said the waiter as Desmond left.

The waitress didn't care about Desmond's indifferent attitude; she hurriedly saved Desmond's number to her mobile phone so she wouldn't forget it later.

While Desmond was satisfied that he had the things he wanted, he bumped into a woman dressed in a neat suit as he was leaving the shopping centre.

Whack!

"Ouch!" The woman shrieked loudly.

Desmond was naturally shocked; he rushed to apologise and extended his hand to help her stand back up.

"Sorry, Miss, I was too excited, so I accidentally...

"Walk with your eyes!" The woman snapped as she rejected Desmond's hand and gave him a cynical look.

Desmond furrowed his brow; even though he had meant well to her, she was angry.

The woman stood up, she snapped at Desmond again, "You know! All the things I wear are expensive! If something breaks, who will replace it!? Someone like you can't possibly replace it!"

Suddenly, four burly men wearing black suits approached them, causing Desmond to sigh heavily.
