Chapter 5

Desmond took a taxi back. He planned to buy a mobile phone, but on the way, he saw a car showroom holding an exhibition of the latest cars.

"Sir, stop right there!" Desmond admonished the driver.

The taxi driver nodded in understanding and turned towards the car show. Desmond got out of the taxi immediately after paying the fare.

The system stopped him as he was about to step into the showroom.

[Wait a minute, sir, your ATM card has reached its limit. Let me make a Blackcard for you first before you buy anything else]

Desmond nodded in understanding because ordinary ATM cards do have a limit, unlike Blackcard, which can be set in such a way according to the needs of its users.

With the data that Desmond has entered into the bank, the system easily processes the BlackCard creation; in just seconds, the system has created a Black Card for Desmond.

[Sir, your ATM card has been changed to a Black Card, please go shopping]

Desmond smiled, "Thank you, System."

Desmond casually walked into the showroom; some people seemed to notice Desmond; they just saw Desmond's figure; they thought Desmond would apply for a job there because he carried a folder which was none other than his house ownership file.

"Sorry, we don't have any work," a bald man suddenly reprimanded Desmond.

Desmond frowned, "A job? Who wants to work here? I want to buy a car."

Desmond spoke with great confidence, knowing that if he weakened, he would be crushed; now, he seemed more assertive.

The bald man, who turned out to be the showroom manager, looked Desmond up and down, and when he realised Desmond's clothes were from a famous brand, he broke out in a cold sweat.

"I'm sorry, sir, I've got the wrong person," he said, apologising.

"Already, I don't like small talk; I want that car; take care of the papers now," Desmond said, showing his Black Card.

The bald man smiled, "Of course, sir, please have a seat; I will prepare the papers immediately."

Desmond was taken to a waiting area, where he was treated well because it's rare for someone to buy a car without asking many questions first.

Desmond didn't realise that the car he was pointing at was a Rolls-Royce Boat Tail, one of the world's most expensive cars, costing up to 30 million dollars.

Desmond pointed to the car because he thought it looked simple, unlike Lamborghini, Ferrari, or other luxury cars that stand out because of their luxury.

Desmond doesn't like flashy cars, so he thought the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail was just an ordinary car, not knowing that the car is even more expensive than other cars.

In the waiting room, Desmond was accompanied by a beautiful woman. The woman served him very kindly and even poured wine for Desmond.

"Sir, please enjoy," he said kindly.

"Thank you," without hesitation, Desmond raised his glass and drank the wine in one gulp.

The woman came closer to Desmond, sat beside him and poured more wine. The smell of the woman's perfume and body wafted into Desmond's nose, making the man a little turbulent; it had been a long time since he had been so close to a woman.

Wrenley, who became his wife, had never been so close after marrying him. His manly instincts kicked in, and without hesitation, he embraced her.

There was no rejection; the woman seemed happy to treat her like that. Her manager told her that Desmond was a tycoon, so the woman hoped to hook Desmond with her beauty.

"Sir, not here," the woman said softly as Desmond sniffed her neck.

Desmond quickly came to his senses; he withdrew his hand that embraced the woman, "Sorry, you were so tempting that I lost control."

The woman blushed; she pushed her hair up to her ears, "You can if you want; I can accompany you when you finish work."

Desmond knew where this was going; he smiled, picked up his wine glass again, and drank it.

"Do you always offer yourself like this?" asked Desmond as he casually leaned back on the sofa.

The woman gasped, unable to answer Desmond's question, as she was always courting tycoons for more money.

Desmond shook his head; he did not want to interfere too much with other people's problems, but he also did not like women who easily get along with men.

"That's a shame, but if you weren't like that, maybe I could make you my wife candidate," Desmond said casually.

The woman turned her head towards Desmond as the handsome man in expensive clothes smiled at her.

"Sir, but I assure you my service is satisfactory," he said hesitantly.

"I know that you will try your best to please the customers, especially since you are so beautiful; there must be many who are satisfied by you."

Desmond held the woman's chin and grinned, "My ex-wife is just like you; she willingly slept with another man who she thought was richer than me and left me; how sad is that?"

The woman was speechless; she could only stare intently at Desmond's handsome face because she knew what Desmond's words meant.

"Sir, sorry to interrupt, the papers are ready," a bald man suddenly opened the door.

Desmond removed his hand from the woman's chin, "Okay, let's start the transaction."

The bald man sat across from Desmond. Desmond immediately gave his Black Card to the bald man who immediately swiped the price of the car Desmond bought. The payment was immediately completed.

"Nice doing business with you, sir..."

"Desmond Emmanuel," Desmond extended his hand.

"Mr Desmond Emmanuel, don't forget to contact me again if you need another luxury vehicle,"  said the bald man, welcoming Desmond's hand.

Desmond nodded; he released his handshake, took the file, and reached into his pocket; he took out the thousand dollar bill in his pocket and put it in the hand of the woman who accompanied him earlier.

"Thank you for your service, Miss," Desmond said as he got up.

The woman was stunned at the thousand-dollar bill in her hand; even though she did not accompany Desmond to bed, the man generously gave her such a generous tip.

The manager smiled as he escorted Desmond to his car, which had already been checked by the showroom's mechanics so that it could be used immediately.

Desmond rubbed the car, he opened the car door and got in.

"Don't forget to call me again, Mr Emmanuel," the bald man slipped his business card into Desmond's coat pocket.

Desmond just smiled, started the car, stepped on the accelerator and drove away.

Everyone there was just stunned when they saw one of the most expensive cars at the car show in Desmond's possession.

"Generous customer, aren't you, Lily?" the manager asked the woman with Desmond.

Lily sighed, "You're right, Sir; I only accompanied him for a short time and earned a lot of money; it's a pity he's not interested in me,"  she said helplessly.

The manager could only stare at Lily, even though her face was beautiful, and her body was also proportional. However, Desmond was not interested in her; he was sure Desmond had a very high taste in women.

Driving away with the car, Desmond smiled broadly, "Get ready, world, you are about to see the birth of a new Desmond Emmanuel!"
