Axelion accused of stealing

"There is important news today. Branley has lost his cell phone and a five thousand dollars that were kept in a bag. If anyone thinks they took them, please return them to Branley."

The classroom had been abuzz since two hours ago because Branley had lost his cell phone and money. And just now the school made an announcement for whoever took it to return it to Branley immediately.

"I don't think anyone in this class is poor enough to take my phone and money,"

"Did you forget that there's an Axelion in this class. He's a poor person actually,"

"Gosh I forgot that,"

Branley had hardly accused any of his classmates, but Calvin suddenly reminded him of Axelion.

Now, all the students were staring at Axelion who was surprised to be the accused party here, even though he had never stolen.

"I never stole! It's not my fault,"

"In this world, there won't be anyone who confesses when he steals," Calvin said.

"Calvin, I didn't do it. You can't blame me," Axelion replied firmly.

Axelion had to clear his name of the accusation that Calvin had given him because he was innocent.

"Yes, it looks like Axelion stole, he's the poorest in this class," said Grizelle.

"I may be poor but I won't take what doesn't belong to me,"

"Axelion won't confess. Just go check Axelion's bag," Calvin said.

"Why are you guys being mean? I didn't do it. My mom never taught me to steal!"

"But your mother is dead," Xavier said and then laughed mockingly at Axelion who had recently lost his mother, so it couldn't be a guarantee that Axelion wasn't the culprit.

"Even though my mom is gone, that doesn't mean I've forgotten everything she taught me."

"You shouldn't talk so much! If you're innocent, you shouldn't mind having your bag checked,"

"Go ahead and check my bag! There won't be anything. I've never stolen even though I don't have as much money as you all!" Said Axelion who didn't mind letting his bag be checked by his friends.

Finally, Axelion's bag was taken over for inspection to make sure that Branley's cell phone and money were not stolen by Axelion.

"Hold on!"

Branley stopped Calvin, Xavier, and Joe from opening Axelion's bag. They all immediately looked at Branley.

"Axelion, if it turns out that you have my cell phone and money in your bag, then I will immediately report it to the school."

"Yes, Branley."

Axelion did not steal, so he was not afraid when Branley said that. Axelion was sure there were no items belonging to Branley in his bag.

"Okay now we open Axelion's bag," Calvin said.

Axelion's bag was checked. All the students watching were curious whether the accusations against Axelion could be proven. They all thought Axelion was the culprit because Axelion was poor. So most likely Axelion wanted to have money in an easy and fast way, which was to steal his friend's property.

"HERE'S YOUR CELL PHONE, BRANLEY!"

Calvin exclaimed as he pulled out Branley's cell phone from inside Axelion's bag. All eyes were immediately on Axelion, including Branley who was also angry because Axelion had stolen his cell phone but Axelion didn't look guilty.

Branley immediately punched Axelion in the face and then pushed Axelion to the floor. Axelion didn't understand anything. He had not stolen, and he had never intended to take anyone else's property. But somehow Branley's cell phone was in his bag.

"It wasn't me who stole, Branley. I can swear, I didn't steal anything!"

"BUT MY CELL PHONE IS IN YOUR BAG, AXELION!" Branley shouted in front of Axelion.

"You poor man! Already poor, you're stealing! Your life will be even poorer later,"

"Didn't expect that. Axelion, who has been looking good, innocent, although often insulted, turns out to be a thief,"

"Poor his mother. She will definitely be put in hell for not being able to educate her son properly,"

Axelion was hurt by all of their evil words, especially those involving his mother. Valerie, who was no longer in this world, was not a mother who failed to educate her child. In Axelion's eyes, his mother was the kindest woman in the world. She was never taught to steal or do anything bad.

"I swear it's not my fault! I never stole," Axelion said.

"Let's try to find your money, Branley. Maybe there's some in the bag," said Xavier, to which Branley and the others immediately agreed.

After Axelion's bag was checked again, there were several bills in one of the bag's pockets. And once Calvin counted them, the amount was the same as Branley's missing money.

"Gosh, he really is the thief! Besides the cell phone, he also took your money," Joe said.

"Oh my God, our accusations are proven. This poor guy took everything."

"You looked so confident earlier when you said that it wasn't you who stole. But it turns out that in your bag, there was a mobile phone and also my money that was missing,"

Branley pulled Axelion by the collar until Axelion stood up. Then Branley hurt Axelion again.

"We'd better take him to the school authorities who handle crime in this school,"

Axelion would be punished. Axelion was embarrassed in the school. All the students stared at him being escorted like a criminal who had just killed someone else.

"Don't look at him in wonder. He stole! Branley's cell phone and money were stolen but he confidently insists that it wasn't him," said Hanrey making an announcement for those looking at Axelion who was currently being dragged towards the room of the teacher who usually handled problems at their school.

"I hope this thief is expelled from our school,"

"Yes, his intelligence will be outweighed by the crime he committed. He may be smart but he doesn't belong in this school. The school shouldn't give a scholarship to a criminal!"

Axelion was innocent but Axelion was not given a chance to defend himself. Everyone blamed him.

"You must confess to everything you've done, Axelion! You took my cell phone and money,"

"Why do I have to admit to something I didn't do?"

"Don't defend yourself! You're clearly guilty!"

"But I've never stolen, Branley. Don't you think it's possible that this is someone's doing and then they're deliberately making me the one at fault here,"

"In any part of the world, there would never be a thief who admits his actions, you fool! You should be punished! Besides being expelled from this school, you should be put in jail so that you know what you did was wrong!"
