Embarrassed by George at an expensive cafe

After Axelion returned from his mother's funeral, he was still feeling very sad. He couldn't bear to part from the woman who had given birth to him, raised him, educated him, and was always by his side giving him love, affection, and care.

"Can I live without Mom? From now on I'm completely alone. The only parent who has been accompanying me, and being my best friend is no longer in this world,"

Axelion arrived at his house. He gazed at the atmosphere inside his small house. It was eerily quiet. Usually when he came home, his mother always greeted him with a smile. And his mother would always ask Axelion how he was doing in school. Before Axelion helped his mother sell food in the afternoon, his mother never forgot to make sure Axelion ate and rested first because Axelion must be tired. After school, there were sometimes calls from a cafe or restaurant that needed Axelion's services to deliver food.

Now Axelion would have to go it alone. There was no one to remind him to eat well, get enough rest, study well, and never give up trying.

Axelion was immediately surprised. While he was pondering, the wealth system suddenly spoke to him.

"Yes."

"What? That fast?"

"Yes, I'll get it done."

Axelion did not expect that the wealth system would entertain him by giving him money that had to be spent within fiveten minutes. He accepted the task but then he was confused about how to spend it.

"I'll just spend it at the cafe,"

Axelion remembered that there was a cafe not far from his house. It was a cafe that people with extra money usually went to. And he himself had never gone inside, let alone bought the food and drink menu. But this time he would venture there to fulfill a task from the wealth system.

The first greeting Axelion got when he entered the café was a strange look from the waitress standing near the entrance.

"Hello," Axelion greeted the waitress.

One of the waitresses gave Axelion an unhappy look. Probably because they saw Axelion wearing simple and dark-colored clothes because he had just dropped off his mother at the funeral.

"Okay, how may I help you?"

Despite trying to appear accepting of his arrival, Axelion knew that the waitress actually objected to his presence in the café.

"I would like to order anything worth ten thousand dollars,"

"Anything?"

"Yes, because I don't know the menu here,"

"I thought you came just to ask for a donation. Then, let me show you the menu,"

Axelion was escorted to one of the tables. There Axelion was given a menu book and Axelion looked at the prices which Axelion thought were quite expensive. Therefore it only took two menus to spend ten thousand dollars.

Axelion was invited to pay before the food and drink he wanted was prepared. Instantly the balance of Axelion's bank account ran out.

Axelion was again surprised when the wealth system spoke to him. Axelion was not used to accepting the fact that he was now with a wealth system that could come at any time to give him a task.

"Thank you, but I think this is enough. Spending ten thousand dollars is enough to make me confused apparently,"

Several people who were sitting enjoying the cafe's food and drink menu turned their heads when they heard Axelion speak that clearly.

Their gazes were immediately strange. Then they shook their heads slowly while saying "What's wrong with him? Is he a crazy man?"

Axelion heard that but he didn't care. Anyone who saw him talking like that would think he was crazy because they thought he was talking to no one in particular. When in fact he was talking to the wealth system that was inviting him to talk.

As soon as Axelion heard that he had just gotten the money back from the wealth system, there was suddenly a voice mocking him.

"Oh, Axelion is here? Didn't I see it wrong? Wow, where did you get the money to be here, Axelion? Just sitting or something to order?"

Axelion shied away from George's condescending gaze. George came along with his mother. They happened to have just finished shopping, and came to the café to enjoy the cappuccino and blackforest cake that was the specialty of the café.

"Hey, I'm talking to you."

"Anyone has a right to be here, George,"

"After asking dad for money, now you're here. So, where did you get the money from? Dad didn't give you the money. And where is your mom? Is she really sick? If so, why aren't you with her? Or are you just pretending that your mother is sick so that you can get money from father?"

Axelion looked at George coldly. Axelion would never lie just to get money.

"Watch what you say, George, my mom is sick."

"If she's sick and needs money, then why are you here alone?"

"My mom is gone, she just left me,"

Axelion answered firmly so that George and his mother would not accuse him again. He would never leave his mother to please himself.

"What? Valerie died?"

Alice asked with a curious face looking at Axelion and Axelion immediately answered by nodding his head.

"Yes, my mother is dead."

"Why?"

"Because of illness."

"So you live alone now? Hahahaha what a sad fate you have, Axelion. Already poor, fatherless and your mother is now dead,"

"I have a father, but his father doesn't think I exist,"

"What's the point of assuming the existence of a child who wasn't meant to exist?"

Axelion tried to contain his anger. Being insulted by anyone was something Axelion was used to. But this time the timing wasn't right. Axelion had just lost his mother. But already someone was coming with hurtful words.

The waiter came to serve the menu ordered by Axelion. George and Alice were quite surprised that Axelion could enjoy a meal at a cafe that was famous for its high prices.

"Wow, you ordered several menus. Are you paying?"

"Of course."

"Got the money?"

"Most importantly, I paid for all this not with your money, your mom's and your dad's too. You don't have to ask too many questions."
