Benjamin was shocked when he saw this. How is this possible? His grandfather had personally handed this black card to him, promising that it held up to $3 billion, so what was going on? Why was the payment declined? Did Hunter Whiteridge lie to him? Benjamin immediately threw that thought out of his head. There was absolutely no way a man like that would lie to him about money of all things.

First of all, the man is a Trillionaire, so it would be a very shameful act on his part to fool his newly found grandson, something that had been proven with a DNA test to confirm it. Also, the payment had been declined rather than the black details being incorrect. This means that the black card is indeed legit.

There was also no mention of ‘insufficient balance’, so the issue had to be something else. Unfortunately, the audiences watching this weren't interested in thinking this through.

As soon as the director saw the confusion on Benjamin's face, he snatched the phone from his hands to get a look for himself. “Payment declined, huh?” He chuckled with aicking tone as he stared at Benjamin with disdain. “Well, this ended as expected."

The crowd burst out laughing once more. Benjamin had dug his grave and now, he had to lie in it.

Mrs. Knox began tearing up while shaking her head. “No. God, no. I can't bear to watch this.”

Max could only try and appease the old woman while staring at his best friend with utmost concern.

As for Andrew and Alexa, they have felt a greater sense of superiority once the director confirmed that Benjamin's payment was declined.

“My goodness!” Andrew brought a hand to his forehead as he began laughing boisterously. “And to think I actually gave you a chance to prove something you didn't have! It’s my fault for thinking any good of you. In the end, all you showed everyone here is that not only are you a lowlife scum, you're also a disgusting liar and a thief.”

“Exactly!” Alexa immediately followed up. “That black card must have been stolen from someone unfortunate enough to cross paths with you. You probably didn't have the pin code to withdraw anything and that's why the payment was declined!” She pointed accusingly at Benjamin. “Honestly, at this point, you should be picked up! You're nothing but a delinquent!”

Max and Mrs. Knox were feeling scared for Benjamin. These accusations from Andrew and Alexa would likely be easily believed after what they had just witnessed. Yet, even if the two of them didn't know the whole truth, they know for a fact that Benjamin wasn't a thief.

The crowd, unfortunately, didn't think this way. They began shouting and pointing at Benjamin, calling him a thief and asking for his arrest immediately.

It was at this moment that Benjamin received a notification, and he quickly snatched his phone back before the director could look at it. He found he had received an email from a top bank and he opened it to find the content, noting the most important part.

[Please, activate your card to finalise your payment process.]

Benjamin let out a breath of relief. He was right to believe in his grandfather. It turned out that he simply hadn't activated the card before usage.

In seconds, Benjamin activated his card. He then ignored his surroundings once more as he began filling the black card details once again, ready to donate the $10 million.

“Hey, loser!” Andrew called out to Benjamin. “What are you still doing on your phone, you pretentious bastard?! Who do you think you're still fooling by now?! It's over! You lost, alright?! Now, it's time to keep your end of the bargain!”

Alexa giggled with a mocking tone. “Hey, everyone!” She turned to the crowd. “Don't forget to capture this moment on your phone. Also, let's post this under specific hashtags and then we'll make it trend on all social media platforms!”

Another idea suddenly crossed Alexa's devious mind and she turned her gaze back to Benjamin

“Hold on! Let's make this even better. Since your grandmother is a professional cleaner, then she should go down on her knees and….” She looked down at her lover’s shoes and she smirked. “She must pick Andrew's shoes to properly apologise for what she has done as well.”

At that moment, Benjamin furiously glared up. “Alexa! Watch what you say to my grandmother from now on!” He never expected this woman he used to love with all his heart would go this far. He felt like he had been seriously blind to fall in love with such a woman like this.

“What?! Did I say anything wrong here?!” Alexa daringly challenged, refusing to back down. She then turned to the director. “Sir, what do you say?”

The director glanced at Andrew, eager to please a notable member of the Tyrone family. “Of course, one must take responsibility for their actions. Since both Benjamin and his grandmother have acted unruly, then it's only proper that they both do the needful to correct it. No one is too old to learn a lesson.”

Benjamin tried not to be too surprised by the nonsense this director was spilling. He was basically saying it was okay that his grandmother was ridiculed in public, making it seem like it was nothing but a trivial matter. This pissed him off. How did such a man like this end up as the director of this school?

It was at this moment that the director felt his phone buzzing. He retrieved it from his suit pocket, and he found a notification of a credit alert in the official account of the university.

The director's hand began shaking as he clicked the notification, opening it to find the full content. A sum of $10 million has been paid as donation, and Benjamin's name was there. His world felt like it was about to crash at this moment. “No, how is this possible?!”

Christ smirked at her as he held her by the waist, kissing her forehead, cheeks, chin, and then her lips.“And I only want to keep spoiling you till we take our last breath. Seeing your happy face because of me gives me the will to keep living. I know I tell you this all the time, but I'll never get tired of saying it. You're my breath. Losing you would mean losing my life.”The two ended up having another intense sex. Anna's voice had gone hoarse from screaming as she was ruthlessly ravaged by Christ. The housemaids and housekeepers stationed there could only blush hard as they could feel the strong erotic air around them thickening. Some of them even ended up pleasuring themselves, joining in the fun created by the king and queen of New Stone City’s underworld. Half an hour later, Christ and Anna had gotten dressed and walked hand in hand as they had entered the Don’s private study to find the head butler waiting for them with the file. The two settled into the sofa just so they c

Post-sex, the rulers of New Stone City's most powerful underworld gang were in a large pool of steaming water, resting up on each other in a corner. The naked couple leaned on the edge of the pool, with Anna resting her back on Christ's chest. They looked incredibly relaxed.Christ glanced down at the gorgeous lover before him.“Are you good now? Or do you need me to go harder on you right now?”Anna hummed as she leaned her head closer to the man's chest.“That is, if I hadn't already fucked every last bit of cum out of you. You know how hungry I get for your sperm after using my powers like that?”Christ lowered his head to speak into Anna's ear with a low and hoarse tone, his voice dripping with seduction.“You'll be surprised at how much cum I can fill you with right here. You wanna give it a try?”His hands slid below the steaming water level to graze her curves. One of his hands landed firmly on her ass to give one of the cheeks down there a thorough squeeze, while the other ha

This alluded to the fact that Dr. Klaus and whoever he was messaging privately had known each other for a very long time, with the method the other side was using to address Klaus Tank showing that he was much older, and definitely a man, judging by the pronoun the former Orthopedic surgeon used. With trembling hands, Klaus picked up the phone, thinking hard on how to frame his question. Knowing this old man's temperament, he couldn't spend too much time thinking about this at all. Thus, he took a deep breath before typing his question.[Anna Ray, the lady of Skull High Gang. Christ Stoop, the Don of the same gang. Were they former test subjects of the experiment on compatible pairs? I want the truth?]Klaus waited for what felt like hours for that reply. Twenty minutes later, he got more than he had hoped.[I see you're hiding with that gang. I always knew this was how you'd end up. Pathetic. I regret taking you in as my student. Now, to answer your question. Yes, those two were a p

  • Chapter 458

After the Don and Lady of Skull High Gang left the room, Dr. Klaus did as he was told. After Lady Anna had unveiled her hidden supernatural powers, Leona had become surprisingly less manic. Though it was obvious from her gaze that she was still lost sanity-wise, she wasn't acting out anymore. From what he could tell, Lady Anna had managed to soothe her consciousness. He had no idea though. It didn't matter, as long as he was able to sedate her without needing support, which he had to call for, considering those two housemaids were just killed right in front of him. After injecting the sedative into Leona, he helped her back to bed and then summoned the butler of the mansion, a cold-eyed old man with a surprisingly incredible build and a scar running across the right side of his face. It can be seen that this man was once a battle fanatic during his youth. Somehow, he had made it to such a prestigious position within Skull High Gang.Dr. Klaus spoke to him with great respect.“A set o

Christ hummed in understanding of his lover’s words, staring at Leona’s fierce display.“The training I instilled into her all these years. She still has them locked down. I think Leona might be seeing things that aren't there. Something serious is up here that we don't know.”Anna sighed, closing her eyes with an exhausted breath momentarily before she suddenly opened them with a look of determination.“Then I have to make a move then. Otherwise, we won't get to the bottom of this, and we don't even know if we're running out of time to find solutions to possibly put an end to this rubbish.”Christ frowned as he understood what his liver meant. He grabbed her wrist, looking into her eyes with a deep frown.“My Lady Anna, are you sure about this? Using that method…..I shouldn't tell you how heavy a toll it places on you mentally. No one knows it better than you do.”Anna nodded her head, her determined expression not wavering in the slightest as she gently pulled her wrist out of Chri

After waking up, Leona seemed alright at first, glancing around with a pair of alert eyes.“W …What's going on? Where am…..”She didn't get to finish her words before Anna rushed over to caress her face, hugging her tightly.“Leona, my dear, you're home, okay? It's okay. Auntie has got you. You're in safe hands.”Hearing those words, Leona calmed down, slowly wrapping her arms around her aunt's torso to return the hug, her breath calming down slowly. But this didn't last long.As Leona opened her eyes, she found a huge, distorted shadow creeping into her bedroom by the open door, right where Christ Stoop was standing, causing her body to freeze up momentarily.Feeling the switch in her niece's mood, Anna frowned as she gazed down at Leona.“My lovely, what's wrong?”Immediately, Leona's hold around Anna tightened as she began shaking uncontrollably, her wide eyes fixed on the open door. The distortive shadow was now nothing but a disgusting and terrifying rotting figure. It looked li
