April could almost cry on the spot. The last time Benjamin had uttered such words, it was to start a fake romantic relationship between them, in order to get Alexa off her back.

Now, it was the real deal.

She nodded her head as she stared into Benjamin’s eyes.

“Yeah, I'd love to be your girlfriend.”

Benjamin reached out a hand, and April placed her hand in his. She thought that he just wanted to hold her hands, but then Benjamin’s other hand suddenly slipped something over her held hand.

Benjamin spoke with a slightly shy expression.

“This is a token of our relationship. A ceremonious witness to officially becoming a couple.

April gasped as she looked down at her wrist. It was a bracelet, colourfully bedazzled with various tiny gems into one heart-shaped design. This was a complex work of art by the jeweler.

“Ben, I recognize this! Isn't this a Tutti Frutti necklace by Cartier? It costs about $1.3 million, right?”

Benjamin smiled at April as he caressed her hand.

Guests at the after-party began reviewing copies of the email that Uriel was talking about. They verified it for themselves that, truly, TAINS apologized to Uriel for delaying his scholarship admission to the institute, promising that they have now apprehended those behind it.Seeing that the narrative was about to be changed for good, Henry wasn't willing to give up.“Even if this proves that TAINS made a mistake with your scholarship admission, what proof do you have that my family had anything to do with it, huh?”At this, Uriel went quiet. To be honest, this revelation was something that he wasn't supposed to make as he didn't have the proof. But he had been slowly riled up by Henry to the point that he couldn't help but let that part slip out of his mouth. Now, he had no evidence to back up this accusation.Seeing Uriel's hesitation, Henry felt emboldened and laughed out loud with a tone of mockery heavy in his voice.“Uriel, don't tell me that your baseless accusations had no p

Uriel was never rejected by TAINS. It was the Den family who sabotaged everything. And yet, here was Henry, standing on the podium, addressing the crowd of powerful guests whom he had never been accepted into TAINS.Alas, none of these guests knew whether Henry was telling the truth or if he was lying. Still, they quickly found something very fishy about this.First of all, it was clear that Henry had some sort of personal vendetta against Uriel, and he was shamelessly deploying one tactic after the other to ruin Uriel's reputation at this event.Secondly, how could it be possible that Uriel was rejected by TAINS, and yet, he's far more skilled than any graduate from that institute? In fact, wasn't Henry Den, this man trying to tarnish Uriel's reputation, a graduate of that same institute? Yet, he wasn't even capable of deciphering a good raw stone, and instead, lost more than $100 million.Still, it was somewhat uncertain if investing in this new lapidary, Orion-Meteor Cutters, was

Across the wide sky of the huge New Stone City, a fleet of ten helicopters moved towards a single destination - Levi's Screen Town Tower's sky terrace.Inside the helicopter, placed at the center of the fleet, is none other than Benjamin Whiteridge.Currently, he's dressed in his disguise - a white three-piece suit, with leather shoes, white gloves, and a long white open robe that rested on his shoulders, protecting him from the autumn wind.Inside the helicopter with him are Anthony and Lieutenant Jason, both dressed in stylish black suits and sophisticatedly designed black and gold geometric masks.Benjamin stared out the windshield where he was seated.“How far away are we from our destination?”Anthony replied without even bothering to look at his wristwatch or any other device.“We're less than thirty minutes away from the town tower.”Benjamin nodded his head.“I heard that Uriel performed incredibly well at the Grand Auction.”Lieutenant Jason nodded his head at that.“Based o

Henry's expression revealed a deep hatred that went as deep as a well, just at the mention of his enemy's name.“I know Uriel well enough to come up with the perfect plan to corner him and kill him. Miss Isabella, Mr. Najeeb, trust me when I say that I have a foolproof plan to catch our target. All I ask is that I get a share of the spoils.”Najeeb chuckled with a head nod.“Of course! Uriel was able to win over seventeen different gemstones with perfect ratings in terms of quality and quantity. If you can help us get what we want, you will be given a share of what we reap, naturally.”Getting the chance to take the gemstones from Uriel's hand while ending his life. This was the perfect chance to kill two birds with one stone. Juliana was glad that she was able to guide her otherwise foolish fiancé into devising this plan of borrowing someone else's power to take down an enemy that is evolving too fast for them to handle. Thus, Henry began telling the two foreigners of his plan. The young man had the evidential features of what you would expect from an Arabian man. Despite the modern outfit he had on, the turban gave away the region where this man is from.Isabella was confused when she heard these words.“And what do you know about my pain?”She glanced at the dead body of her favorite female bodyguard.“I just watched a dear friend of mine lose her life at the hands of that…..Figlio di puttana! (Son of a b*tch!)”The Arabian young man glanced at the dead Italian bodyguard as well.“You're right. I know nothing of your grief, and I won't pretend to know either. By the way, you should have her body packed away. It's quite unsightly to keep a corpse lying around a public area.”This Arabian man immediately received a murderous glare from Isabella, which he felt keenly. He wasn't a normal human being by any means either.“I'm sorry if I sound insensitive. You should understand people like us have long become numb to seeing subordinates lose their lives.” Isab

The Grand Hall was almost emptied of all the guests by the time the gunshot went off.Everyone held their breath to see what had happened. Did that bullet hit the target? Where did the bullet hit Uriel's body?To be specific, the Italian bodyguards were the ones holding their breath. The woman who had pulled the trigger had done so without permission. Though it was out of righteous anger against the insult Isabella Giordano had received from Uriel seconds ago.As for the masked Whiteridge soldiers, they weren't in the least bothered, as they knew that Uriel wasn't hurt in the slightest. But Uriel didn't know this. He actually had his hands covering his face as he looked away after hearing the gunshot go off near him.Seconds later, though, he dropped his guard and hands to find that he was perfectly fine.“W…What happened?”The masked Whiteridge soldier who got in front of him immediately grabbed something off the ground, before showing it to Uriel.“I intercepted it, Sir Uriel.
