Cynthia Reinhart paced restlessly around the living room, muttering incoherently to herself.

“Ugh, why isn’t he back yet?!" she exclaimed, frustration clear in her voice.

Her eyes lit with expectation as the door slowly creaked open.

Remiel came in struggling with the farm tools in his hands. “I'm back mom.”

“Remiel, did you see your brother on your way back?” she asked frantically.

“Uh no I didn't.” “Isn't he back yet?” He replied, noticing the urgency in her voice.

“No he's not and I don't even know how to drive.”

“Drive? You mean you've never driven that car that's been in our backyard for months?” He raised his eyebrows.

“Yes. Rosa gave it to me last year as a birthday gift.”

“Oh, I remember now.” “You want me to drive it? He asked

“You don't know how to drive.” His mother replied matter-of-factly.

“I could try.” He grinned

After giving it some thoughts she handed him the keys to the car.

Now

David stood, staring, confused, as his elder brother stepped out of the car.

“How the hell do you know how to drive? And whose car is this?” he demanded.

“This is the car my mom gave your mother as a birthday gift last year,” Scylla chimed in.

“And no one thought to tell me about it?” he replied, clearly frustrated.

“Don't look at me.” Remiel said, averting his brother's angry gaze. “Mom didn't want you in on it because she knows how reckless you can be sometimes.” he grinned.

“Really?!? I feel betrayed right now.” David said, looking grumpy. “You still haven't answered my question,” he added.

“What?”

“How did you know how to drive?”

“I don't know. I just entered the car and I found myself here.” Remiel answered.

“What?”

“Mom's worried about you so get in quickly.”

“Do you wanna come in too, Scylla?”

“Yeah sure.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wings flapped as they flew in a specific direction, invisible to the mortal eye, their black, scaly skin glinting under the setting sun, dark wings spread wide behind them with their glowing red eyes piercing through the air.
The two figures landed in front of an old man with one hand and an eye patch covering his right eye. His other hand, made of condensed shadows. His appearance, similar to that of the ones before him, but more burly and muscular.
“We've found the boy, master.” the first one said
“He appears to be living with a mortal woman.”
The man arose to his feet on hearing the report with an evil smirk on his white bearded face.
“Alas! The key has been found!” his arms and wings spread wide with happiness.
“His parents were foolish for leaving him in the hands of a mortal.” he said. “That man will pay for what he did to me.” The icy glint in his eyes sending shivers down the spines of the duo in front of him.
“He’s not alone, master.” the other one interrupted
“I know that already.”
“I mean… there are two more special beings with him.”
“Who?”
“They're the offspring of chaos.” he completed, causing the old man to widen his eyes in shock.
“She'll be coming for them.”
~~~~~~~~~~~

In a golden-white castle surrounded by elegant flowers and gold painted fountains flowing with milk, a man surrounded by beautiful women could be seen sleeping on his throne when his blue eyes suddenly flung open, glowing brightly.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Remiel
“Leave them alone!!” I shouted at the top of my lungs—but they didn’t even flinch. They just kept going, dragging my brother and Scylla away like they were nothing.
I hate being ignored. It makes my blood boil!!
Rage twisted in my gut, burning hotter with every second.
I was pinned down, helpless, watching those red-clad people go away with two of the only people I cared about. I couldn’t move. I couldn’t stop them. And their cry for help, they echoed in my ears, stabbing through me like knives.
What would I tell mom? What would Mrs Rosa say?
Something stirred inside me. Something I couldn’t name. It clawed at my insides, desperate to break free. The angrier I got, the more everything around me blurred. I clenched my jaw, and that’s when I felt it; my vision tinting red.
The ones holding me started to panic. I could feel their grip falter.
“I said… LET THEM GO!!”
That’s when it happened.
A surge of power exploded from my body; a red wave of pure rage, and everything around me was thrown back.
Let me take you back to how it all happened.
Some minutes ago
We were having fun, just vibing to the music blasting from the car speakers. I could see Scylla and David laughing, moving to the rhythm. It was one of those rare carefree moments.
Then everything shattered.
“Remiel, stop the car!!” Scylla screamed, her nails digging into my shoulders.
“Ow! What the hell, Scylla?!” I slammed on the brakes, heart racing as the car screeched to a halt in the middle of the road. I turned to her, rubbing my shoulder. “What was that for?”
“Look,” David whispered, pointing at the windshield with a trembling finger.
That’s when I saw it; just a few meters ahead. A rift, glowing red, tearing through the air like reality was being unzipped. It pulsed with a strange, almost wrong energy. My chest tightened.
We got out, the three of us. I didn’t even realize how hard I was breathing until my feet hit the ground. Whatever that thing was… it wasn’t natural.
“R-R-Remiel,” David’s voice cracked as he grabbed my shirt. “What’s going on?”
I didn’t have an answer. Scylla was beside us, trembling uncontrollably. Her eyes were wide, lips parted, like she wanted to scream but couldn't.
Then they came.
Five figures stepped out of the rift, each one dressed in red ninja-like outfits. Twin blades were strapped to their backs, and on their foreheads, the mark of a dragon’s tooth gleamed like a warning. The only thing visible were their eyes; cold, merciless eyes.
One of them stepped forward, her voice low and female. “We were sent to bring you two with us,” she said, motioning toward David and Scylla. “Come willingly… or we’ll take you by force.”
My heart dropped. All five of them were women; I could tell by their movements, their voices, their posture, but that didn’t make them any less terrifying.
“Who are you?” I asked, stepping in front of the others. “What do you want with them?”
“We have no business with you, boy,” another snapped. “Hand them over. Now!.”
I glared at her. “Or what? You're gonna dice me into a million pieces?!”
 Hello? You came out of that red thing demanding for the people closest to me and you expect me to hand them over? No can do red lady.
That’s when they unsheathed their blades. A metallic hiss cut through the silence.
“Shit…” I muttered. “They’re not bluffing.”
“RUN!!!”
We turned and bolted into the nearby forest, branches whipping against my face as we tore through the underbrush. But they were fast—too fast. They moved like shadows, appearing before us in a blur, completely surrounding us.
“Surrender them, or face the consequences,” one said coldly.
I stood my ground, panting, hands clenched into fists. “Do your worst, bitch,” I growled, stepping forward.
Big mistake.
One of them blurred and struck—just one hit—and I was airborne. My back slammed into a tree and I collapsed, coughing blood, my vision spinning.
“STOP!!” I heard Scylla sob. Through the haze, I saw her fall to her knees.
“We’ll go,” David said, his voice breaking. “Just don’t hurt my brother anymore. Please.”
“No… David, what are you doing?!” I tried to push myself up, but two of them were already on me, pinning me down. I couldn’t move.
I couldn’t protect them!!
Now
The blast wave ripped through everything in sight, sending everyone flying like ragdolls; including the ones I was trying to save. I felt the force within me taking control, I rose—slowly, trembling, like a puppet dragged to its feet by invisible strings. My clothes were in tatters, and black flames danced across my skin like they belonged there.
Shit!! I'M ON FIRE!!
I wasn’t in control anymore. Not fully.
My fingernails stretched into sharp silver claws. The left side of my body darkened, my hair turned black, and two horns tore through my skull. I wanted to scream, to plead for whatever was taking over to stop.
But it reveled in the transformation.
Red light flooded my vision, glowing from my own eyes as black and white wings tore free from my back. Each wing had talons near the base—sharp, eagle-like claws that flexed with the same malice crawling through me.
I could see them—David and Scylla—staring at me from a distance. Their faces were pale. They trembled. I would’ve done the same if I were in their place. Hell, even now, inside this thing I’ve become, I’m shaking.
One of the assassins, clearly shaken, stammered, “What… what kind of monster are you?”
Another voice snapped in response. “Don’t just stand there! Ready your weapons! That thing’s a threat!”
They were right. I was a threat.
I didn't even know what I’d do next.
“But we can’t beat him,” one of them whispered.
“He’s alone!” their leader barked. “And we’re not leaving without finishing our mission!”
They drew their blades.
I didn’t.
Instead, my body responded before I could stop it—dark auras gathered around me like shadows answering a silent command. They molded themselves into blades, perfect copies of the ones my enemies held.
A step. Just one step.
And I was behind one of them—watching in horror as her head left her body.
I didn’t want this. Stop!!
Another tried to speak—“Wasn’t he just—”
She never finished.
The blade—my blade—had already cleaved her in half.
I didn’t stop.
They didn’t stand a chance.
In seconds, their remains littered the ground—limbs scattered, torsos torn open, blood soaking the earth.
And I was standing in the middle of it all.
My eyes, cold and lifeless, shifted—not by my will—towards the two figures hiding behind the tree. I felt it. Their fear. It was raw. It was deserved.
Then I—or whatever spoke through me—opened my mouth.
“Hyxarians,” the voice rasped.
It didn’t even sound human.
Didn’t sound like me.
It was deeper, ancient… and cruel.
The thing inside me laughed in my skull. Then spoke again.
“The offspring of chaos.”
I took a step toward them.
Then another.
The twin blades, still in my hands, dragging dark energy behind them.
“What elder god would be foolish enough… to bring beings like you into existence?”
I screamed inside my head, Stop. Please. Leave them alone!
But he didn’t stop.
“You’re not supposed to exist.”
My arms moved again, without my consent. The void around us bent, twisted—responding to him. I watched in horror as my own blades lifted into the air, guided by thought alone, pointing at David and Scylla like executioners’ axes as they moved towards them with speed.
They were going to die!!. By my hands.
But then—something shifted.
A flash of motion.
AA figure stepped between us, calm and unfazed. With a single wave of his hand, the blades clattered harmlessly to the ground.
I gasped—finally—control breaking for just a moment.
“Who… are you?”
    Envy’s Bulwark was never meant to be a shield alone. Through the manipulation of his abstract energy and demonic magic, Lirien could reshape it into a dimensional gate, one capable of devouring an opponent’s attack, warping its very nature, and hurling it back in a twisted reflection.That same demonic force, the abstract energy, was not limited to brute destruction. It could be refined, molded, and wielded as magic. The Sinlord of Envy, Syzerene, had long since mastered this art, engineering methods to turn such power into an instrument of absolute advantage in battle.And like all things born of envy, she passed them down to those who served beneath her, shaping monsters such as Lirien into weapons that did not merely endure attacks, but claimed them, corrupted them, and made them their own.~~~~~~~~A victorious grin curled across Lirien’s lips as he gazed at the massive detonation above. Slowly, his eyes drifted across the battlefield—only to widen in faint surprise.They were sti
Terror etched itself into every expression.“What… what’s that beast thinking?” Ragna breathed, eyes locked on the sky. “Has he forgotten we’re still here?”“An attack of that scale could completely obliterate everything on this battlefield,” David said, drawing a steadying breath. “I just hope he has something up his sleeve.”“Hmph. I am not as reckless as you think.”A deep, guttural presence reverberated through their minds as a thin red barrier flared into existence around the group, its surface shimmering like heated glass.Elynora’s eyes widened. “A barrier…? How does a barrier solve anything?”Seran stared at the crimson veil, Equilibrium Sight flaring. His expression shifted.“…This isn’t an ordinary barrier,” He said slowly. “It’s made of compressed energy from his essence.”The barrier pulsed in rhythm with Remiel’s aura above, threads of the sam
    A figure wreathed in lightning sat upon a cloud high above the battlefield, his posture relaxed, his gaze utterly devoid of emotion as he observed the tragedy unfolding below.“They were so quick to claim victory, even while staring down a force they barely understood,” Nalaz murmured, a trace of amusement curling in his voice. “How oblivious.”He raised a hand and drew lazily in the air, sparks trailing his finger. A sigil shaped like a thunderbird pulsed into view.“What they don't realize is this,” he said, voice low and sharp. “A Sinblood’s power doesn't lie in raw strength or speed.”The sigil crackled brighter.“It lies in their ability to twist any situation, to adapt, to rise from ruin stronger than before.”His gaze dropped to the battlefield below, settling on Scylla’s lifeless, severed form. Remiel stood beside it, still as stone, his eyes wide with disbelief.“The phoenix dies…” Nalaz said, a flicker of something dark in his tone as a faint smile curved his lips. “How luck
